Abstract

Quality, innovative, and applied learning media can increase motivation and activation learn learners. Thus, the research this time USES a think talk write based animation medium. The think talk write model makes the learner more active in building his knowledge through reading, thinking, discussing, and interpreting. The study aims to describe students' responses to the think talk write based media animation. The study USES qualitative descriptive methods in the form of case study conducted at SMA Karya Pembangunan Cikalongwetan. The data collection consists of observation of responses and direct interaction with learners. Studies have proven that the clever text study using animated media collaborated with the think talk write model makes learners more active and able to understand the stories theoretically and empirical.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan struktur pada sajak “Doa Khong Guan” karya Joko Pinurbo. Dalam tulisan ini ada dua pertanyaan penelitian, yakni: 1) bagaimana struktur yang membangun keseluruhan sajak “Doa Khong Guan”? dan 2) apa makna yang dibangun dalam sajak tersebut?. Kedua pertanyaan tersebut dibahas dengan teori strukturalisme dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis struktur puisi dari struktur fisik dan struktur batinnya. Setelah itu, sajak dapat dimaknai berdasarkan analisis struktur tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan berdasarkan pada objek dan data berupa sajak yang ditulis oleh Joko Pinurbo dalam kumpulan Perjamuan Khong Guan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sajak “Doa Khong Guan” memiliki struktur fisik dan struktur batin yang kuat dan kokoh baik dari bentuk, citraan, diksi, tema, bunyi, dan majas. Selain itu, unsur pembangun pada struktur batin juga menunjukkan bahwa sajak ini memiliki struktur yang saling melengkapi. Hasil dari analisis struktur ini menunjukkan makna sajak secara komprehensif, yakni tentang harapan, doa, dan keinginan seorang ibu kepada anaknya.Kata Kunci: Struktur sajak, sajak, teori strukturalisme, Doa Khong Guan

Abstract

The study focused on learning the moral values contained in the children's storybook "the adventure of banyu to a distant land" by sri handayaningaiah as one of the textbooks that could improve the character of the reader. The goals that will be reached in this study to analyze and describe the moral values that serve as a message ora commission that can serve as a lesson to the reader delivered by the writer. The objective of this short story was that of school-age children in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade elementary school children, this booklet also trains character education in children. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The result of material analysis is that conclusions use words instead of Numbers and data collection techniques through the narrative structural data analysis found in the story. The moral value of the story is that of positive morals conveyed by negative incidents or events experienced by the figure banyu as water. If associated with elementary student character, then moral value in the story provides the message of doctrine in preserving the environment.

Abstract

Penelitian..ini..dilatar..belakangi..oleh data observasi dari..lapangan pada siswa kelas X SMA terkait dengan keterampilan menulis  biografi yang  sangat lemah. Hal ini didasari oleh kurangnya penerapan  metode pembelajaran. Sedangkan siswa masih  kesulitan mengungkapkan ide atau gagasan untuk menulis paragraf biografi sejak awal. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada pembelajaran model Project Based Learning siswa SMA, dengan harapan siswa mampu mencapai hasil yang baik dan  kreatif. Tujuan peneliti adalah untuk mengeksplorasi proses siswa dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran yang berbasis proyek dan untuk mengeksplorasi hasil belajar menulis  biografi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Peneliti juga menggunakan model penelitian dengan menyediakan sarana deskriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan hasil penelitian mereka dengan membandingkan dengan skor yang mereka peroleh. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari prestasi akademik siswa dalam menulis teks biografi terdapat 4 siswa dengan nilai tertinggi dan 26 siswa lainnya dengan nilai memuaskan. Rerata seluruh siswa adalah 85. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X bisa dikatakan efektiv dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Online learning is distance learning taught by teachers and students through internet network access and is commonly referred to as online (online). One of the difficulties of learning online is learning the skills of writing biographical texts. Students still determine the structure of speech and the difficulty of using the correct biographical text. Therefore, this study was conducted using the TTW model in online learning to determine student learning outcomes in learning to write biographies and facilitate the improvement of biographical writing. The sample of this study was taken from class X science 4 students of SMA Negeri 4 Cimahi, totaling 20 students. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, in which the survey results are described by compiling the scores obtained. The results of this study can be seen from the learning outcomes of students in writing biographies, with four students with the highest scores and 16 other students with moderate grades. The grade point average for all students is 85. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of the TTW learner model is suitable to be applied to biographical text materials for class X high school students in online learning.

Abstract

Dalam suatu buatan kesusastraan pengarang bisa memberikan apa yang jadi hasil dari pemikirannya. Pandangan ini bisa berbentuk catatan, buah pikiran, asumsi, ataupun marah kepada sesuatu perihal. Syair merupakan salah satu buatan kesusastraan yang bertabiat delusif, dirangkai dengan tutur yang artistik serta simpel tetapi tidak gampang dimengerti oleh para pembaca terlebih tanpa ilmu dalam menganalisa syair. Kerapkali arti syair dianalogikan kedalam subjek lain alhasil arti dari unsur- unsur syair terebut tersembunyi dibalik eloknya tutur. Syair bisa jadi dorongan untuk pembaca terlebih buat penggemar menulis serta penikmat syair. Pengarang terpikat buat menganalisa puisi “Bercukur Sebelum Tidur” karya Joko Pinurbo, sebab syair itu mempunyai tema yang tidak jauh dari kehidupan orang tiap hari. Perihal menarik yang lain dari syair buatan Joko Pinurbo ini merupakan penulisannya dengan memakai aturan bahasa yang simpel tetapi besar hendak arti. Tujuan Riset ini merupakan buat mengenali bentuk raga serta hati syair Joko Pinurbo dalam pembelajaan menulis syair dan buat tingkatkan keahlian uraian pengarang dalam cara menganalisa buatan kesusastraan. Tata cara Riset ini memakai tata cara deksriptif kualitatif yang menelaah setelah itu mendefinisikan nilai- nilai dari puisi “Bercukur Sebelum Tidur” karya Joko Pinurbo. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari puisi “Bercukur Sebelum Tidur” buatan Joko Pinurbo hingga bisa disimpulkan kalau syair ini memiliki bentuk raga serta hati style bahasa ataupun gaya bahasa salah satunya ialah memakai tutur badan selaku metafora buat penomena alam, disinilah penyair Joko Pinurbo penyampaikan laju pesatnya kemajuan pabrik dengan melalaikan kelestarian area alam sekelilingnya. Inti dari syair ini merupakan kalau tidak terdapat manfaatnya melacak kemajuan pembedahan pertambangan buat membuktikan kalau pangkal energi alam kita berlimpah sedangkan warga sedang melalaikan akibat kepada area yang terus menjadi terkiki.

Abstract

This research article aims to examine Indonesian spelling errors in student thesis abstracts where writing errors are found. Student mistakes in writing thesis abstracts sometimes do not use the correct Indonesian spelling. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method and data collection procedures in the form of observation. Based on the results of the research, the samples taken were 10 thesis abstracts of IKIP Siliwangi Elementary School Teacher Education Studies program. In writing an abstract, there is a language spelling that is not correct according to the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling Guidelines (EYD), namely the use of prepositions, the use of capital letters, writing full stops, the use of italics and errors in writing words. There are 16 spelling errors in the abstract of Elementary School Teacher Education students. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded that there was an inaccuracy of the author in using language spelling in italics, capital letters, prepositions, writing periods and errors in writing words.

Abstract

This research article aims to determine students' responses to powtoon learning media, and to determine the ability to write negotiating texts with powtoon-assisted learning media. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. Learning is done with the Discovery Learning learning model. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that student responses obtained an average percentage of 84.53%, it can be concluded that the use of instructional media has received a good enough response to be used in learning, and from the results of the recapitulation of knowledge and skills tests the average value of knowledge and students' skills after using learning media is 91.6%. Thus it is stated that the students' abilities in understanding and writing negotiating texts are categorized very well. Based on the results of the discussion, it was concluded that powtoon learning media can be used in the process of learning activities, especially in learning negotiating text for class X high school students. Powtoon-assisted learning media is also effective in the role of increasing learning motivation and especially in the results of writing skills

Abstract

The background of this research is to find out the extent of students understanding in using language styles in learning to compose short stories. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of language style in a anthology of short stories “Pancarona” by Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 2 Cililin. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are in the from of quatations obtained from the results of the analysis which show the use of language style. Based on the result of the discussion, it can be concluded that the types of language styles found in the short story anthology book “Pancarona” consist of 15 short story titles analyzed, the research found 8 types of language styles used by students when compiling short stories, including the following: 1) There are 15 hyperbolic language types, 8 metaphors, 6 personifications, 4 similes, 2 paradoxes, 1 synesthesia, 1 alliteration, and 1 metonymy. 2) Short storie with the most use of language styles are short stories entitled Cinta tak Terduga and Bad Boy with the use of 6 types of language styles. From a total of 15 short story titles analyzed in the book “Pancarona” short story anthology, a total of 38 language styles were obtained.

Abstract

The background of this research is that students experience many factors during learning. This includes limitations in writing ability and idea development. During learning, the teacher usually only learns through monotonous methods without media and then only gives assignments. The method that is often used is the lecture method from textbooks, which does not require students to be active. The formulation of the research problem is as follows. 1) How does Canva media affect the ability to write procedural text? 2) How is the implementation of learning with discovery learning models in students' writing abilities? The research objective was to determine the effect of Canva media on the ability to write Indonesian procedural texts and the effect of implementing the discovery learning model on writing ability. The discovery learning model aims to facilitate the development of ideas in writing. One of the efforts to improve procedural text writing skills is to conduct research using discovery learning assisted by Canva media. Canva is an online application designed for more interactive and creative learning in writing. The method used is descriptive qualitative using observation techniques, data collection and tests. The subjects in this study were 30 students in class VII-E of SMPN 3 Cimahi. The results showed that the discovery learning model can be used effectively in learning procedural text writing skills. Judging from the results of students' ability to write procedural texts, they generally get good criteria because they get scores above 80.
