This study aims to determine the effect of mixed use of code in the Indonesian language among students IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. Language is an arbitrary and universal symbolism system of sound. The use of the first language is closely related to the conscious and natural acquisition of language. Without someone aware of the use of code mix is often in use while learning a second language. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, sampling of this research is Indonesian language education student IKIP Siliwangi by limiting 25 students of IKIP Siliwangi. The instrument used is a questionnaire created by google form. The method of this study shows that there is a significant influence on the use of language denied students IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. This research is expected to provide an overview to all parties involved so that it can improve the way of using the language appropriate for use in any situation.

Short story writing learning is generally considered a difficult thing for students to do because of the equivalence of titles, themes and storylines that are difficult to balance by students so that when writing short stories many students have difficulty in expressing ideas to finish writing in written stories. This research was conducted at Padalarang Vocational High School, which is located in Padalarang, West Bandung Regency. This study aims to foster interest in writing, especially in writing short stories. The formulation of the problem faced in this research is How is the implementation of learning and the results of writing short text using a contextual approach ?. This research method uses descriptive qualitative and uses data collection techniques in the form of skills tests. Based on the results of research during learning activities indicate that the activities of short story writing using an approach (contextual teaching and learning) are very good with an average result of 18.32 with a percentage of 91.60% where the prensetase is included as very good criteria. The phenomenon of bilingual, especially for the people of Indonesia is common. This is influenced by presence factor L1 and L2 or first language (mother) and second language. Bilingual exists in every country in the world, there are also in every society and all age groups. Based on the way it occurs, bilingualism can be distinguished into the natural bilingualism of natural bilingualism or primary bilingualism and secondary bilingualism secondary boldness. Natural bravery takes place without specific training, while secondary biology occurs through the teaching of a second language that is designed and implemented systematically. Based on the concepts of bilingual that have been mentioned above, in this study, the authors formulate that bilingualism is the habit of the use of two languages in everyday life. The existence of the ability of the two languages, making a person has an option in using the language. Furthermore, the view held is a minimalist view.

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan struktur pada sajak “Doa Khong Guan” karya Joko Pinurbo. Dalam tulisan ini ada dua pertanyaan penelitian, yakni: 1) bagaimana struktur yang membangun keseluruhan sajak “Doa Khong Guan”? dan 2) apa makna yang dibangun dalam sajak tersebut?. Kedua pertanyaan tersebut dibahas dengan teori strukturalisme dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis struktur puisi dari struktur fisik dan struktur batinnya. Setelah itu, sajak dapat dimaknai berdasarkan analisis struktur tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan berdasarkan pada objek dan data berupa sajak yang ditulis oleh Joko Pinurbo dalam kumpulan Perjamuan Khong Guan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sajak “Doa Khong Guan” memiliki struktur fisik dan struktur batin yang kuat dan kokoh baik dari bentuk, citraan, diksi, tema, bunyi, dan majas. Selain itu, unsur pembangun pada struktur batin juga menunjukkan bahwa sajak ini memiliki struktur yang saling melengkapi. Hasil dari analisis struktur ini menunjukkan makna sajak secara komprehensif, yakni tentang harapan, doa, dan keinginan seorang ibu kepada anaknya.Kata Kunci: Struktur sajak, sajak, teori strukturalisme, Doa Khong Guan

The study focused on learning the moral values contained in the children's storybook "the adventure of banyu to a distant land" by sri handayaningaiah as one of the textbooks that could improve the character of the reader. The goals that will be reached in this study to analyze and describe the moral values that serve as a message ora commission that can serve as a lesson to the reader delivered by the writer. The objective of this short story was that of school-age children in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade elementary school children, this booklet also trains character education in children. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The result of material analysis is that conclusions use words instead of Numbers and data collection techniques through the narrative structural data analysis found in the story. The moral value of the story is that of positive morals conveyed by negative incidents or events experienced by the figure banyu as water. If associated with elementary student character, then moral value in the story provides the message of doctrine in preserving the environment.

In the current digital era, learning in every subject must be based on the use of Information and Technology (IT). It is not limited to lectures. The IT feature used in this research is the Track Change feature in Microsoft Word. The purpose of this research is to use the Track Change feature in lectures. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects of this study were B2 class students, batch 2019 of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, IKIP Siliwangi. The data are in the form of observations and questionnaires on student responses to manuscripts and the results of student edits. Through a problem-based editing model assisted by the Track Changes feature, students not only edit or edit simply, but every language error is edited and explained according to the error. The results showed that the use of the Track Changes feature in editing lectures went well. This is indicated by the data from observations on the activities of lecturers and students, student response questionnaires and the assessment of the results of editing student manuscripts.

A short story or short story is a literary work that is dialectically related between reality and short stories, proving that from various angles short stories can be analyzed. This research was carried out because in the short story "Matahari pun Tak Bosan" by Danil Gusrianto which has several figures written from each series of stories in it. The problems discussed in this study are so that readers can receive knowledge about the elements of figure of speech that can be used as experiences and lessons in everyday life. Speech serves to generate term art, language art in a word or in written form and to make words and language more interesting. Speech serves to generate term art, language art in a word or in written form and to make words and language more interesting. This research is to analyze the figure of speech contained in the short story by reading and observing studying the short story content first, then marking and analyzing the text which is included in diction and figure of speech, with the terms that have been analyzed, various kinds of figure of speech are found in the contents of the story. Not Bored "Danil Gusrianto's work, namely personification, pleonasm, hyperbole, rhetoric, alliteration and climax. The stylistic approach contributes to research on diction and figure of speech is one of the main elements to achieve various forms of meaning of literary works, because literary works cannot be separated from the use of figure of speech to make it seem aesthetically pleasing. The writer concludes that the short story "Matahari pun Tak Bosan" by Danil Gusrianto is a short story that motivates and inspires its readers. This short story can be used as learning material, and is suitable for reading by all groups.

Writing proficiency is an essential skill imperative for Indonesian language educators, as it underpins their professional development and advancement. This research presents the adaptation of the STAR writing method's structure to facilitate Indonesian language teachers in reflecting on the process and learning outcomes. The present study adopts a descriptive mode of exposition rooted within a qualitative research paradigm. The research population consists of high schools (SMA) and vocational schools (SMK) in Cianjur Regency. The respondents for this study were 15 Indonesian language teachers from 4 high schools and 1 vocational school. These fifteen teachers willingly participated in the Best Practices writing training for two weeks using both synchronous and asynchronous modes. Data were collected through observations during the training, the outcomes of the activities, and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify solutions to the reflective-based writing difficulties experienced by Indonesian language teachers. Based on the research, it was found that: 1) The adaptation of the STAR structure and composition facilitates teachers in logically expressing ideas, 2) The combination of face-to-face and online training assists teachers in re-engaging with writing, and 3) The STAR structure aids teachers in completing their writing within the set time given. The research concludes that teachers are capable of writing when provided with guidance, instructions, and time contracts to complete their writing tasks.

This study aims to (1) develop multimodal mathematics and Indonesian language books for learning in elementary schools, (2) determine the feasibility level of multimodal mathematics and Indonesian books for learning in elementary schools. This study used the Borg and Gall development model research method which consisted of (1) preliminary study, (2) initial product development, (3) expert validation and product revision, (4) limited field trials and product revision, (5) test try the field and the final product. The resulting product is an Android-based learning media in the form of multimodal books for learning mathematics and Indonesian in elementary schools with the subject, integer arithmetic operations, mixed integer arithmetic operations, determining mixed arithmetic operations with whole numbers, looking for main ideas and writing poetry in elementary schools. Based on the formulation of the problem, research results, and discussion, the results of this study can be concluded that (1) the development of Multimodal Book considered several product characteristics, namely, (a) students play an active role, (b) precise and consistent language, (c) music selection, background, buttons, types, colors, attractive letters, (d) animations and images support elementary school students' understanding, (2) multimodal Mathematics and Indonesian Language Books for Elementary School Learning are appropriate to use and can improve the learning of Mathematics and Indonesian Language for Elementary School students in West Bandung Regency.
