Abstract

This study aims to explain two things, about (1) the implementation of giving homework in the field of theory (using LKS) in arts and culture lessons (music) for Class VII students of SMP 3 Painan, Pesisir Selatan Regency; and (2) Implementation of homework assignments in the field of practice (without LKS) on arts and culture lessons (music) for Class VII students of Painan 3 South Pesisir Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method, the research produced will provide a clear picture of the object under study with various points of view and various explanations. Data collection techniques by observation, interview notes, documentation notes and study literature notes. Data analysis techniques are collecting data, identifying data, classifying data, describing data, and drawing final conclusions. After collecting the data, the results obtained that the results of the study found problems in giving assignments by the teacher to students in music culture and art lessons in class VII, which is less effective, and not balanced. Homework assignments in the form of musical art practice exercises (without worksheets) performed outside the classroom by students have less portions, compared to assigning theoretical work (using worksheets) done by students individually or in groups. However, at the next learning meeting in class, the teacher asked questions and collected the results of the music practice as evidence of homework in the form of practice already carried out. While homework in the form of theory that students do with worksheets has never been asked or questioned by the teacher. So the results of this study show that there are two opposites, where the results of homework without worksheets carried out by students practicing at home are more questioned by the teacher, while homework with worksheets done by students is not discussed more.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of analysis of examination questions by the cultural arts teachers at Class X of Accounting Department in SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. This type of study was qualitative research with using descriptive analysis method. The instrument of the study was the researcher and it was assisted by interview note, observation note, and documentation files. The researcher was involved in the research as a participant observer. The types of data were primary and secondary with qualitative data analysis techniques that described the problem. The result of this study indicates that the analysis of examination questions of cultural art (music) done by the teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, which have been tested on the final exam in odd semester 2018/2019, shows the results of the existence of categories of questions that are easy, medium and difficult, based on the results of examination of students correct answers which have been recapitulated and summarized. there are six items whose material are not related to the subject, the description of questions are too broad and the questions that the teachers have never been explained in the Indonesian traditional music insight material, then the questions can be removed, replaced or corrected. Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the use of blended learning on the learning outcomes of music art in Class XI-MIPA2 SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The research population was all students of class XI, while the samples were 36 students of class XI-MIPA2 who became the experimental class and 36 students of class XI-MIPA6 who became the control class. Sampling was done by cluster sampling. Meanwhile, to test the difference in the effect of learning outcomes from different learning treatments, the t-test is a different test for class reunification, from the post-test results in the experimental and control classes. The results showed that by obtaining the calculated t value at a score of 7.625 compared to the t table at a score of 1.68957 using the SPSS version 16 program, then at arithmetic = 0.05 and df = 35, the calculation of the difference in the average learning outcomes was significant. Because the value of t count on the score = 7.625 is greater than the t-table value of 1.68957. It means count >  t table. So the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted, while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. With these results, it can be concluded that the application of synchronous blended learning affects the music learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA SMAN 3 Bukittinggi to be higher than using asynchronous blended learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the subject matter of Art of Culture according to the curriculum of 2013, especially from the enriching aspect of instructional material of musical ensemble. The method used in this research is R & D method. The result of the research has created the development of teaching materials of local musical ensemble on Minangkabau music material, which by displaying the character of the ensemble instrument sound in the form of sketch-based video, the teacher can complete the teaching material in the show and not need to be demonstrated. With the enrichment of musical ensemble lesson material using this sketch-based slide video also, the teacher can present the lesson with more appreciative and attract the attention of the student, that is by the use of materials, tools, materials and study time effectively and efficiently.Keywords: sound character, music tool,video slide sketch, ensemble MEMAHAMI KARAKTER BUNYI ALAT DENGAN VIDEO SLIDE SKETSA PADA PEMBELAJARAN ENSAMBEL DI SMPN14 PADANGPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pelajaran Seni Budaya sesuai kurikulum 2013, khususnya dari aspek memperkaya substansi bahan ajar ensambel musik. Abstract

MENGEMBANGKAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI KEMAMPUAN MENCIPTA LAGU SEDERHANA DALAM PENDIDIKAN SENI BUDAYA BAGI SISWASEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA (SMP)AbstractThe research was conducted in SMP Negeri 16 Padang, which was motivated by the music of culture and art of learning problems in curriculum-based Character Education in 2013, where some of the subject matter tends to develop the cognitive and psychomotor, more geared to the development of the affective domain. From the pattern of KI and KD field of the music of culture and art in 2013 at the junior high curriculum, competencies, knowledge and skills the art of music is not negligible, but the development of attitudes of learners through learning music is much more important. Developing Character Education through Capability Creates a Simple Song learning in the Junior Cultural Arts is one of the subject matter may be directed to the development of the educational aspects of character, to understand the attitude and response of students to the theme of simple songs that he created. There are nine steps that are applied in this study are: (1) find the idea: (2) exploration of the theme of experience and appreciation of the work: (3) stringing words according to the theme: (4) analysis of the suitability of the choice of words on the vowel sounds in rhymes and articulation: (5) selection of musical nuance and patron melody; (6) analysis of the relationship melodies and lyrics; (7) notational (number / beam) (8) makes a simple isnstrumental musical accompaniment; and (9) the presentation creation simple songs sung by music iiringan. Results showed that, with a simple song that created the students, they realize himself what he knew and understood about attitudes and behavior problems of both himself and other people. Key Words: Education Music Arts, character education, creating songs AbstrakPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 16 Padang yang dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah pembelajaran seni budaya musik dalam Kurikulum 2013 yang berbasis Pendidikan Karakter, di mana beberapa materi pelajaran yang cenderung mengembangkan ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik, lebih diarahkan kepada pengembangan ranah afektif. Dari pola KI dan KD bidang Seni Budaya Musik pada kurikulum 2013 di SMP, kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan seni musik tidak diabaikn, namun pengembangan sikap peserta didik melalui pembelajaran musik jauh lebih penting. Mengembangkan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Kemampuan Mencipta Lagu Sederhana dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya di SMP adalah salah satu materi pelajaran yang dapat diarahkan kepada pengembangan aspek pendidikan karakter, dengan memahami sikap dan tanggap siswa terhadap tema lagu sederhana yang ia ciptakan. Ada sembilan langkah yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) menemukan ide: (2) eksplorasi tema dari pengalaman dan apresiasi karya: (3) merangkai kata sesuai tema: (4) analisis kesesuaian pilihan kata pada bunyi vokal menurut sajak dan artikulasi: (5) pemilihan nuansa musikal dan patron melodi; (6) analisis hubungan melodi dan lirik; (7) penulisan notasi (angka/balok) (8) membuat iringan musik isnstrumental sederhana; dan (9) presentasi ciptaan lagu sederhana yang dinyanyikan dengan iiringan musik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dengan lagu sederhana yang diciptakan siswa, mereka menyadari sendiri apa yang ia ketahui dan pahami tentang masalah sikap dan berperilaku baik bagi dirinya maupun oranglain. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Seni Musik, pendidikan karakter, mencipta lagu

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DELIKAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN NOTASI IRAMA PADA PELAJARAN SENI MUSIK BAGI GURU-GURU PESERTA MGMP SENI DAN BUDAYA TINGKAT SMP DI KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMANAbstractThis research is about Delikan (Listen-See-Do) learning model, the model of learning that can be used in teaching rhythm and notation, where this model can be combined between listening method the design of sounds/voices, see the notation, rhythm, and do practicum read, write or practice the notation. The advantages this model is at the "listen", "see", and "do" music activities that support the goals of learning music to appreciate typical of his subject matter of music in the curriculum of Arts and Culture can be practiced with the principle of learning music "learning by doing, learning by experience. "this study takes place at the junior high school teachers gathered in MGMPs Art and Culture in Padang Pariaman. There are 14 teachers from nine schools involved in discussion partner for researchers and teams at this stage of the introduction of the model (in the first year). In the second year of the study, teachers who have been provided with the Delikan learning model can be pioneering improvements in teaching music about rhythm. By doing so, the involvement of students in the classroom as a research object in the real learning is also necessary, in order to measure the success of research and development of this learning model to be developed and disseminated.Keywords: rhythm notation, delikan method, music learning AbstrakPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tentang model pembelajaran Delikan (Dengar-Lihat-Lakukan), yaitu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pelajaran irama dan notasinya, di mana dengan model ini bisa dikombinasikan antara metode mendengar desain bunyi/suara, melihat bentuk notasi irama, dan melakukan praktikum membaca, menulis atau mepraktekkan notasi yang dipraktekkan. Keunggulan model pembelajaran ini adalah pada kegiatan “mendengar”, “melihat”, dan “melakukan” kegiatan musik yang mendukung tujuan belajar musik yang mengapresiasikan khas-nya materi pelajaran musik dalam KTSP Seni dan Budaya yang bisa dipraktikkan dengan prinsip belajar musik “learning by doing, learning by experience.” Penelitian ini mengambil setting pada guru-guru SMP yang berhimpun dalam MGMP Seni dan Budaya di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Ada 14 guru dari 9 sekolah yang dilibatkan menjadi mitra diskusi bagi peneliti dan tim pada tahap pengenalan model (di tahun pertama). Pada penelitian tahun kedua, guru-guru yang telah dibekali dengan model pembelajaran Delikan menjadi perintis untuk perbaikan pembelajran musik tentang irama ditempatnya bertugas. Dengan begitu, keterlibatan siswa di kelas sebagai objek penelitian dalam pembelajaran nyata juga diperlukan, guna mengukur keberhasilan penelitian pengembangan model pembelajaran ini untuk bisa dikembangkan dan disebarluaskan.Kata Kunci: notasi irama, metode delikan, pembelajaran seni musik

Abstract

 As the spearhead of educational success in terms of educators, teachers, and coaches, teachers in SMP/SMA in particular, is currently faced with how to change the perspective of the curriculum and instruction, particularly for adjusting to a new setting goals and how to learn from the KSTSP to Curriculum 2013. Teaching experience in the classroom has been more oriented to knowledge and skills, slowly but surely, should be changed to materials and instructional activities that promote educational attitudes (affective), or also called character education. Concerned to education in a learning attitude in education in the curriculum in 2013 does not mean reducing the meaningfulness of competence knowledge and skills in the instruction. Indeed, the nature of the substance is humanities education as learning, which educate students moral values ​​and attitude to the fineness of character. In other words, prioritize materials and learning activities in the sense of educating on the basic character of education, in addition to teaching the knowledge and practice the skills in learning, has become the essence of learning in Curriculum 2013, which must be followed up by the teacher with learning simple, integrated, and meaningful.   Keywords: Character Education; Curriculum 2013; learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality of the questions according to the level of difficulty in the even mid-semester examinations for class X Arts and Culture at SMAN 1, Guguak Lima Puluh Kota District. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. Subjects in the study were taken as many as 50 student answer sheets. In this study, the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of the even mid-semester test for class X Arts and Culture, Guguak 1 District, which consisted of 11 questions were questions number 2, 8, 11, 12, 13, 20, 24, 27, 28, 30, 33, with a percentage 27.5% is expressed by the difficulty index. While 29 questions on numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 31, 32, 34 , 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, with a percentage of 72.5%. And it was concluded that the difficulty level of the mid-semester test of class X Arts and Culture of SMA Negeri 1 Guguak was not of good quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the song Happy Birthday by analyzing the form and relationship of the musical elements contained in it. This study used a qualitative type of research with a content analysis approach. The research instrument used was in the form of song analysis notes, literature study, song literacy on the internet, and re-transcription of songs that the researchers did themselves. The technique of data analysis is to dissect each of the musical elements in the song separately, see the role of each element in each other, and how the musical elements are recombined in an interrelated relationship. made with a time signature of 4/4 using the basic note on the A Major scale and with a tempo of MM = 120 or 120 beats per minute, is a song that begins with the 3 beat opmat technique before entering the first beat in the initial barometer of the song. With all the elements that have been notated and analyzed, this causes the use of motifs and tones in the melody and chord accompaniment, including a simple type. When the melody of the song combines with the text that is straightforward and firm, there is an impression that the song is quite simple but more masculine. With the combination of melody and harmony in the text, with the firmness of the lyrics, this song is easily accepted by music listeners of all ages and backgrounds. So that researchers can prove that the use of musical elements in the song is closely related to the popular Happy Birthday song in the community.
