Analisis Butir Soal Ujian Tengah Semester Ganjil Seni Budaya Kelas VII Di SMPN 29 Sijunjung Shanta Monica; Yos Sudarman

This article aims to describe the quality of the item about the Mid-term test of seventh-grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung which includes the level of difficulty, distinguishing power and the effectiveness of deception. The sample in this study was taken for 50 students’ answer sheets. The results show that the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of mid-term test of art and cultural 7th grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung academic year of 2018/2019 have a difficult category for 3 items (12%), items with medium categories are 14 items (56% ) and easy question categories are 8 items (32%). The item differentiation power has a bad category distinguishing power for 9 items (36%), sufficient categories for 7 items (28%), good categories for 7 items (28%), and very good categories are 2 items (8%). The effectiveness of deception of the questions from 25 items, it was found 8 items (32%) the function of the deceiver was said to be good or already functioning, while 17 items (68%) the function of the deception was not good. Joint analysis of mid-term test of art and cultural 7th grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung academic year of 2018/2019 at the level of difficulty, differentiating power and effectiveness of question deception, items of good quality are 5 items (20%), good enough are 6 items ( 24%), and not good (bad) are 14 items (56%).

This study aims to describe the role of parental attention to students' interest in learning cultural arts (music) during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 2 Sijunjung. The theoretical studies used in this study relate to the understanding of learning and learning; learning interests; parents' attention, and Cultural Arts Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used is quantitative research type with descriptive analysis approach. Based on the results of research that began from the exposure of environmental conditions where researching, the picture of parental attention to the learning activities of students at home, as well as the learning conditions of music arts in schools, it can be explained that based on the collection of data and processing of the rubric questions filled by parents and students in different intervals, where in the rubric asked 10 parents and 10 resource persons filled in the available fields according to the choice of answers , it was found that the result of the process of giving parental attention to the learning of students at home by 63%. While the interest of students to learn music at home is about 71%. If the two percentages are combined, a figure of 54%. This figure shows that there is a moderate level of connection between parents' attention to children's learning interests in sijunjung junior high school students who learn music online from home.

Abstract This research aims at describing the implementation of Basic Keyboard musical instrument at SMP Negeri 9 Padang. This qualitative research used descriptive methods. Main instrument of the research was the researcher herself supported by tools to collect the data, such as, observation note, and documentation. Therefore, technique of collecting data refered to field observation technique. The result of the research showed that the learning of keyboard at the junior high school could not enter to technique of playing as a whole. As it should be started by introducing every part of the keyboard, how to use them, fingers technique, chord knowledge, figures notations and then supporting by the explanation about musical material. It was done as the students has lack of knowledge about the implementation of learning keyboard at SMP Negeri 9 Padang.

AbstractThis article was aimed to find out 1)how to use demonstration methodin local music learning especially talempong in class X IPA SMAN 1 Bukittinggi, 2) how students' ability in playing talempong with the right tempo and tone. Type of the research was qualitative. The source of data were divided into two, they were primary and secondary. Technique of data collection was done by using some methods by taking observation, interview and documentation. Technique of data analysis was carried out based on Miles and Huberman’s theory namely data reduction, presentation and verification. Result of the research showed that the use of demonstration method used by teachers was appropiate as it should be, i.e. teachers gave example and guided the students well, it meant that the method has already worked. For the Students' ability in playing talempong, there were 19 students got 90 (52.8%), and 17 of students got 60 (47.2%). So it could be said that only 19 of students were able to play talempong withgood and right. Keywords: Usage, Demonstration Method, Local Music Learning (Minangkabau)

Abstract This article aims to explain that giving feedback based on assessment results associated with motivation influence student learning, including explain also that giving feedback based on the results of the assessment in question can also be differentiating learning motivation of students in learning the practice keyboard instruments in class X-2 music SMK Negeri Padang 7. This type of research is the study of the quantitative approach to experimentation. Population studies on all the X-class students music SMK Negeri Padang 7 who study the practice keyboard instruments in odd semester 2017/2108. The research sample is X-grade music class 2 and X-3, which provided the music class experiment research and control. The main research instrument is the data the results of the assessment and the question form, while an extra instrument observation notes is learning. Results of the study proved that the two hypotheses of the research presented in this study are both accepted, either unilaterally by the tested relationship test correlation techniques influence maupu test two parties by comparing earnings results now between the experimental and control. Test results correlation one party proves that the value of the relationship between the influence the giving feedback based on the results of the assessment in the classroom experiment = 0.76 and in control class = 0.54. While the difference now between classes results difference experiments and classroom control is at 95, in which the score now experimental class higher than the class of the control. The problem of this research rises from the Culture and Arts instruction of music at SMP 14 South Solok which is carried out during a Covid-19 pandemic situation, so there is no face-to-face learning except for the implementation of online learning which is indirectly conducted by teachers and students. This research aims to explain the implementation of recording learning with the help of WhatsApp application in learning music at SMP Negeri 14 South Solok during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The research’s object was the teacher and 24 students of class VII-3 who conducted recording learning using the WA application. The learning was guided by the teacher from the school for students studying at home. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of the study explain that the use of WA application for recording learning in class VII-3 students at SMP Negeri 14 South Solok has advantage and weaknesses. The advantage is the ease of using the applications in learning. This is due to the fact that it can easily send and receive chats, photos, audio, and videos related to the subject matter. However, the weaknesses exist in the unavailability of cellphone devices, unstable internet connection, and expensive internet loads to facilitate WA usage for learning.

Abstract This article aims to describe the Ronggeng in Nagari Ujung Gading Kecamatan Lembah Malintang Kabupaten Pasaman. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. With this type of approach and research, key informant researcher himself, and another informant has a very important role in the collection of data and information for the study. Engineering data collection studies namely librarianship, plus interviews and observations and photo shoots. Data processing with identify, classify, analyse, describe the return of primary and secondary research data collected. Research results can be explained that such ronggend West Pasaman ronggeng art that is on the tip of ivory, Nagari is an art that is considered original ronggeng by local mnasyarakat. Ronggeng is still performed in the various activities of the nagari (which pioneered the young) as well as in the activities of alek nagari with ceremonial purposes and societal. These are presented in the form of Ronggen dances accompanied by music and pantun. In his musical accompaniment, ronggeng using instruments violin, drums, tambourines, and bottles. Ronggeng is the traditional art at West Pasaman which needs to be passed down from generation to generation. Keywords: Ronggeng

This study aimed to describe the approach of Reference Assessment Standard (PAP) and the Assessment Reference Norma (PAN) in the musical subjects in Class VII-C 4 SMP Negeri Padang. Research object-C Class VII students numbering 34 people, in which the current study, the researchers also conducted Field Teaching and assisting teachers in teaching the civil-semester school year 2011/2012. The research instrument used is the researchers themselves, research resource and archive Daily Exam grade students at UH) 1 and 2, Mid Semester Exam (UTS) and End Semester Examination (UAS). The results clarify that the use of PAP on the subjects of art music either to determine the quality of the individual student in mastering the art of learning music. However, to determine the final value is collected from all forms of the test, the teacher should use the PAN approach. With PAN, students who have different learning potential in music, nothing is likely to fail, and student learning outcomes in the form of the normal curve. Abstract This research was aimed at describing the implementation of drill method in increasing the students’ abilities to read and play the rhythm. This research was a qualitative one. The results of the research have explained some rhythm drills as follows: (1) drill of the basic tempo, (2) the form of foot and hands gestures and rhythmic syllables, (3) how to read rhythm patterns using gestures, and (4) train students to read the songs partiture with the appropriate rhythm. It has been proven that drill method can increase the students’ ability to read the rhythm and the notation appropriately, especially for the students of VIIIB at SMPN 1 Bukittinggi.
