Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the background of KH Mas Mansur's life, to know the progress of K.H Mas Mansur in the Muhammadiyah organization in 1916-1946, and to know the struggle of KH Mas Mansur in the Muhammadiyah Association as general chairman in 1937-1947. This research approach is historical research. This research method using heuristict, library study, and data intepretation method. The result of this research is that KH Mas Mansyur was born from a trader who is quite rich and famous. He was raised in a boarding school environment so that the religious education he received was maximized. His knowledge of religion is very broad, to support this, Mas Mansyur continued his education in Cairo, Egypt. KH Mas Mansyur's progress in the Muhammadiyah union was very much, at first he became a member of Muhammadiyah, then chairman of the branch in Surabaya, until he became chairman of Muhammadiyah. Many of its struggles during the Muhammadiyah union were also very many, including sparking twelve Muhammadiyah steps in achieving its goals.

Abstract

In the early days of Indonesian independence, the Netherlands was a country that did not want to recognize Indonesia's de facto independence. Under Prime Minister Amir Syarifudin, Indonesia carried out political diplomacy with the Netherlands. Amir Syarifudin chose diplomacy because he saw that the Dutch fighting strength was much better than Indonesia at that time and so that there would be no morebloodshed. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how Indonesia's diplomacy politics during the revolution under Prime Minister Amir Syarifudin was an effort to defend Indonesia's independence. In this study, the author uses the historical method with data collection techniques using relevant literaturestudies. The results showed that the diplomacy chosen by Prime Minister Amir Syarifudin was still not able to satisfy the Indonesian people. The conclusion of this research is that Amir Syarifudin's diplomacy caused great disappointment and brought down Amir Syarifudin's cabinet.Keywords: Politics; Diplomacy; Amir Syarifudin

Abstract

Transmigration is one form of a solution between the interests of society and the interests of the government. Efforts to level the population as well as the goal of controlling population explosions and poverty are part of government plans. Bali is one of the island's high numbers of inhabitants until they are also the target of the transmigration program. This study aims to find in depth the arrival of ethnic Balinese in Lampung, their ability to adapt and transformation relationships that occur in their kinship system. The results of this study were 1) The arrival of the Balinese ethnicity in Seputih Mataram in 1953-1969 through a series of long process. Starting from the preparation stage undertaken with certain conditions to the role of government in its implementation. Transmigration is considered as the community's need and the interests of the government in realizing social stability, 2) Adaptation of Balinese ethnicity in Seputih Mataram through a long series. Differences in natural conditions become obstacles are still found many wild animals not to mention they have to open land which at that time still like forest because there are still many big trees there. But that is not a barrier until finally they are able to create a new life pattern with a structured village, 3) Relation and social transformation of ethnic Balinese in Seputih Mataram, in this case a slight change. Although normatively they understand the concept of caste, but in reality caste is not an obstacle in interacting though there is still a high caste. The Balinese of Bali in Seputih Mataram are more flexible and open in accepting change.

Abstract

Soe hok gie as a literature student at the university of Indonesia played an active role in the struggle of the students of the 66th generation to overthrow the power of the old order led by president Soekarno. His harsh criticism reached several corners so that he was famous among students. An idealistic attitude and the use of harsh language are used to convey his aspirations. The students of the 1966 generation were indeed very strong and well-known for their actions at that time to voice TRITURA after the g 30s rebellion. The precarious situation at that time made students from various universities unite and hold demonstrations. This makes students considered in the national political map.

Abstract

The problem in this research is to analyze the role of Mahatma Ghandi in the field of Religion and Social Affairs in realizing Indian independence. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the role of Mahatma Ghandi in realizing Indian independence in the religious and social fields. The research method using historical research methods is a review and other sources that contain information about the past and carried out systematically. Based on the results of research, in the field of Religion, Ghandi's life journey studied other religions as a reference because it can instill a sense of belief in religion, besides Ghandi also believes that the Almighty God is the basis of all religions according to Gandhi, is also a thestarting point of all religions. By mentioning religion, Gandhi pointed to it not formally and traditionally, but rather something that underlies all religions that will bring us to meet God. In the social sphere, Gandhi's Teachings flow with them together in the social life of the Indian people. Gandhi's main thoughts are summarized in a span of history and history in the midst of the struggle of the Indian people. Mahatma Ghandi played a role in realizing Indian Independence in the Religion and Social Fields through his teachings, Gandhi in carrying out resistance actions always put forward human values as the basic basis of his movement. Gandhi's teachings flowed together in the social life of the Indian people. Gandhi's main thoughts are summarized in a span of history and history in the midst of the struggle of the Indian people, for future researchers, it is hoped that Mahatma Ghandi's research in politics, economics and others will be further developed in order to realize Indian independence.Keywords: The Role of Mahatma Gandhi, Religion, Social Affairs

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the history learning media used, obtain the media design of Indonesia's independence history e-module to instill a sense of patriotism, describe the opinions of experts / practitioners whether the design of Indonesia's independence history e-module is appropriate for use or not in class XI in high school Negeri 4 Metro. This study uses a research and development(R&D) method adapted from the Sugiyono Level 1 development model (researching without testing). Stages of research begins with analyzing potentials and problems, then conducts literature studies and information gathering, followed by designing products to obtain product drafts. After producing the draft,the product will be continued to the validation stage by the validator team consisting of material experts and media experts, and a questionnaire will be distributed to students to see their response to the e-module on Indonesia's independence history that was developed.The results of the study are (1) thelearning media used by teachers are still limited to printed books and student worksheets (2) the Indonesian independence history e-module media are designed by adjusting KI and KD in the 2013 curriculum (3) the results of the validation of stage 1 material experts are 80% "Eligible", validation of expert material in stage 2 was 91% "Very Eligible", between stage 1 and stage 2 an increase of 11%. The results of validation of stage 1 media experts amounted to 73.33% "Eligible", validation of stage 2 media experts amounted to 84.67% "Very Eligible", between stages 1 and 2 experienced an increase of 11.34%. While the results of student responses of 91.41% "Very Eligible". From the results of theresearch above, it can be concluded that the e-module of the history of Indonesian independence is feasible / valid to be tested.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the cultural values and character of the nation in the text of the Dalung Bojong Inscription of the Sultanate of Banten in Lampung. The content analysis (content) method with a descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. The results indicated that the Dalung Bojong Inscription contained ten cultural values and national characters, including the following: 1) Tolerance; 2) Democratic; 3) Friendly/ Communicative; 4) Peaceful; 5) Discipline; 6) National Spirit; 7) Responsibility; 8) Patriotism; 9) Social Concerns; 10) Appreciating Achievements. It is concluded that the value of Discipline is the predominating value in the inscription text's 12 articles. It is demonstrated by the text of the Dalung Bojong Inscription, which contains a set of regulations aimed at controlling, regulating, and maintaining order in the Lampung people's political, economic, and social lives.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemikiran Haji Misbach mengenai Islam dan Komunis tahun 1912-1926. Metode Penelitian menggunakan penelitian historis dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber yang berkaitan dengan pemikiran Misbach.Misbach yang menyandingkan antara Komunisme dengan ajaran Islam berdampak pada munculnya gerakan anti kapitalisme, berbagai dukungan yang meluas untuk melawan kapitalisme, dan kemandirian rakyat bumiputra. Haji Misbach membuat hal baru dengan memunculkan suatu propaganda melalui media masa yang bersifat Komunisme Islam. Islam dengan Komunisme memiliki beberapa kesamaan salah satunya adalah bahwa keduanya sangat menentang penindasan dan keduanya juga memperjuangkan kebebasan. Atas dasar itulah Haji misbach memiliki spirit perjuangan untuk kebebasan hak-hak asasi kaum buruh berlandaskan Islam dan dengan alat Komunisme untuk melawan kapitalisme Belanda.

Abstract

The flipped classroom is very helpful for students to understand learning material, but it is still very minimally used, especially in history learning. This study analyzed the effect of the flipped classroom model in history learning to improve students' critical thinking. This study employed a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design, by dividing into two class groups, namely experimental and control. The sample was 121 students who were selected through cluster random sampling technique. The data collection was through observation, interviews, and instruments in the form of critical thinking tests. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test and N-gain score test to analyze the effect of a flipped classroom in history learning to improve critical thinking. The results showed that the flipped classroom in history learning had a significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills as evidenced by the independent sample t-test test with a significance value of 0.000<0.05, and the N-gain score test which was included in the moderate criteria. So, the flipped classroom model in history learning is very suitable to be used and implemented. Hence, learning objectives are achieved so that history learning can run well and optimally.

Abstract

Tujuan penilitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui secara historis apa yang menjadi latarbelakang pendirian TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal tertua dan terbaik di Provinsi Lampung. Selain itu yang ingin dipaparkan dalam penulisan artikel hasil penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi yang digunakan oleh sekolah untuk mempertahankan keberadaan sekolah hingga saat ini dan menjadi TK ‘Aisyiyah unggulan di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian historis dengan menggunakan 4 langkah yaitu 1). Heuristik, 2). Kritik sumber, 3). Interpretasi, dan 4). Historiografi. Untuk merealisasikan langkah penelitian sejarah, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara secara mendalam, observasi lapangan langsung, dan pencatatan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal tertua di Provinsi Lampung yaitu TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Teluk Betung Selatan yang berdiri pada tahun 1955.  Sedangkan TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal terbaik di Provinsi Lampung yaitu TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Pringsewu yang berdiri pada tahun 1961. Untuk mempertahankan eksistensi TK, TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal melibatkan masyarakat khususnya anggota ‘Aisyiyah dan masyarakat umum lainya dalam menajalankan kegiatan di TK baik dalam hal tenaga pengajar, sumbangan dana dan pengembangan program-program kerja lainya.
