Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui latihan bermain target terhadap ketepatan pukulan smash dalam permainan bola voli pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Batudaa Pantai. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu, “terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada kekuatan otot lengan terhadap pukulan smash dalam permainan bola voli pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Batudaa Pantai”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan menggunakan sampel peserta ekstrakulikuler di SMP Negeri 4 Batudaa Pantai, kemudian dilakukan pre-test atau tes awal, setelah itu siswa diberi perlakuan dan diakhiri dengan tes akhir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, deskripsi, hasil penelitian, dan pembahasan dapat diambil kesimpulan, yakni: Dari hasil uji t bisa dicermati bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (7,860 2,110) dan nilai signifikan p sebesar (0.000 0.05), hasil ini menerangkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang yang cukup baik antara pretest dan posttest ketepatan pukulan smash. Dengan menggunakan latihan bermain target terbukti berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan ketepatan pukulan smash pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Batudaa Pantai. Data pretest rata-rata 8,44 sedangkan posttest 11,39 dengan peningkatan waktu sebesar 2,95.

Abstract

Introduction: This research is driven by a identified research gap, specifically the low level of understanding and technical mastery among elementary school students regarding the forehand smash in table tennis. The urgency lies in providing a systematic and engaging alternative for Physical Education teachers to improve students' basic skills. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a forehand smash learning model at SD Negeri 07 Talaga Jaya. Methods: Using the Research and Development (RD) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), data were collected through observations, interviews, and validation questionnaires from material and pedagogical experts. Results: The findings revealed that the developed model, featuring a visual instructional guidebook, was declared "Highly Feasible" with an average expert validation score of 4. Small and large-scale trials showed significant improvements in students' cognitive and psychomotor outcomes. Discussion: The novelty of this research is the integration of visual-based learning modified specifically for the physical and psychological characteristics of elementary students. The researcher is confident that the broad implementation of this model will significantly enhance teacher creativity and students' technical skills in table tennis.

Abstract

Junior athlete development is a primary determinant of achievement in competitive tennis, yet the effectiveness of privately managed academies in Indonesia has rarely been examined using a comprehensive program-evaluation framework. This study analyzed the junior tennis development program at Azwa Tennis Academy (ATA), the first tennis academy in Gorontalo Province, using Stufflebeam's Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. A mixed-methods design combined a Likert-scale questionnaire with observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the entire population of 34 stakeholders (15 athletes, 4 coaches, 10 parents, and 5 management staff) selected through total sampling. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using mean scores and percentage distribution, while qualitative data from interviews and observation were used to substantiate the numerical findings. The results show that 70.6% of respondents rated the context component as very good, reflecting a clear alignment between the academy's objectives and its developmental program; 70.6% rated the input component as very good, supported by adequate athletes, coaches, and facilities despite a shortage of training balls; 55.9% rated the process component as good, characterized by regular but short-term, weekly-structured training; and 61.8% rated the product component as very good, evidenced by athletes' achievements in regional and inter-regional tournaments, although national-level achievement has not yet been attained. The novelty of this study lies in applying the CIPP model to an independently managed, non-government-affiliated sports club, showing that community-based academies can achieve strong contextual and product outcomes despite limited institutional supervision. The findings imply that ATA's sustainability depends on developing a structured long-term training program, diversifying training methods, and strengthening facility support and government partnership.

Abstract

More facilities and infrastructure are needed to improve Physical Education learning in schools. This community service activity aims to overcome this problem at SMAN 1 Dulupi, Boalemo Regency, through education of Penjas learning media based on augmented reality. This activity is designed to provide basic understanding and training in using augmented reality learning media so that the learning process can run effectively despite limited facilities. The methods used in this activity include participatory education and direct assistance. Evaluation is carried out by measuring students' understanding of augmented reality technology and their practical skills. The activity results showed that 96% of participants understood augmented reality technology, and 100% knew how to use augmented reality-based learning media. This activity is expected to encourage the government to develop programs that support integrating technology into learning to facilitate students' understanding.
