Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to find out and increase the owner's understanding and knowledge of how to assess performance in developing product innovations to support competitive advantages. The diversity of employees at PT. Tiara Teluk Jaya has a big influence in increasing creativity and innovation. This research aims to find out how much influence diversity has in increasing creativity and innovation. This research focuses on employee diversity carried out by PT. Tiara Teluk Jaya to increase employee effectiveness and innovation. Judging from the customs and culture that exist in Indonesia, there is a lot of diversity that has a broader perspective in dealing with problems and finding new and creative solutions. The analytical methods used are interviews, observation and data collection. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers, the influence of diversity on creativity and innovative employee performance has a significant impact. There is a positive and significant influence between creativity and innovation and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems faced by this business in the last few months and analyze employee behavior that appears in the work environment and identify effective strategies to overcome these problems. The research method used includes direct observation, namely interviews with employees. The research results show that factors such as less effective communication and lack of equipment facilities in a business. To overcome this problem, it is recommended to repair internal communication channels and equip all the necessary equipment.

Abstract

Abstrak. In this modern era, women have the same opportunities as men to have a career outside the home. This causes the housework to no longer be handled entirely by the mother. One of the modern lifestyles of city residents is washing clothes in special places or known as laundries. In big cities especially, laundry outlets continue to grow. Kilo laundry is also the right choice for those who want to open this type of business with not too much capital. With the capital of a washing machine and adequate business space, and supported by a strategic location, it can create prospects. The laundry business opportunity is a business opportunity that quite a lot of people are currently developing. Laundry is a form of service for those who always want life to be easier. Locations that business owners can use as a place to manage their landry business are areas where clean water is difficult. Areas where clean water is difficult are in dire need of laundry businesses, especially for immigrants who feel uncomfortable with the water conditions. Tourism areas are also special areas that are quite effective for managing a laundry business. In tourist areas, people usually set laundry rates at quite expensive prices. The opportunity for a managed laundry business will be able to grow rapidly if it is able to maximize service to customers, both in terms of quality of laundry results, timeliness and friendliness of the waiters. If the business owner is able, it would be better to offer and provide excellent service in the form of picking up and delivering laundry products to affordable customer addresses. To develop laundry business opportunities, business owners can also collaborate with parties such as hotels, this will be more effective carried out in tourism areas.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to determine the influence of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at JNE. Job satisfaction is the attitude of workers towards their work, which arises based on an assessment of the work situation. Factors that influence job satisfaction or dissatisfaction are: type of work, coworkers, benefits, fair treatment, job security, opportunities to contribute ideas, salary/wages, performance recognition, and opportunities for growth. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of implementing motivation and job satisfaction at JNE. This article was prepared by observing and collecting data. The results of this research show that motivation and job satisfaction at JNE are very important to obtain maximum work results in the future.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities that are able to expand employment opportunities, provide broad economic services to the community, play a role in the process of equalizing and increasing community income, encourage economic growth, and play a role in realizing national stability. MSMEs are very important in implementing and maintaining productive and healthy performance. One of those who need an adaptation plan is MSME Goks which is located on Jl. Aru No. 13, Lubuk Begalung Nan XX, Padang City, West Sumatra, 25221. Goks is an ice cream business that offers attractive promotions and has a very affordable price factor. This community service activity begins with surveys and interviews, mapping and identifying problems, formulating solutions, and implementing mentoring activities. The impact of this activity is the expansion of product marketing and business development of Goks Padang MSME actors.

Abstract

Minimarkets are one of the fastest growing types of retail businesses in Indonesia. Employee performance in minimarkets is an important factor in determining business success. Employee satisfaction and motivation have a significant impact on their performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance in minimarkets. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the study show that job satisfaction and motivation have a significant positive effect on employee performance in minimarkets. Job satisfaction has a stronger influence on employee performance than work motivation. The findings of this study have important implications for minimarket managers to improve employee satisfaction and motivation. Efforts that can be made include providing adequate wages and benefits, creating a conducive work environment, providing opportunities for employee development, and building good communication between superiors and employees.

Abstract

This research analyzes the application of adaptive leadership as a solution for Sup Iga Mas Sugi MSMEs in facing three main business challenges: intense competition, increasing raw material prices, and problems related to business premises. Using a qualitative approach with interview, observation and documentation study methods, this research aims to describe and analyze marketing mix strategies that can be implemented. The research results show that Sup Iga Mas Sugi MSMEs implement various adaptive strategies, including product differentiation through menu innovation, improving service quality, optimizing digital marketing, and developing delivery services. To overcome fluctuations in raw material prices, efficient supply chain management and menu diversification are implemented. The problem of less strategic locations is overcome through increasing online visibility and creating unique experiences for customers. This research concludes that the application of adaptive leadership is effective in overcoming these challenges, provides valuable insight into the application of this theory in the context of MSMEs in Indonesia, and provides practical guidance for MSME actors and policy makers to support the resilience and growth of the MSME sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the training provided by Mixue to its employees is to increase the productivity of its employees' performance through questions and answers to obtain the necessary information. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive approach in the form of in-depth interviews with Mixue employees in Lubuk Begalung. The strategy to increase employee performance productivity is an effort made by the company to improve employee performance so that it can be used for the good and progress of the company. In order to achieve the desired targets, companies must develop appropriate strategies. It involves management-oriented human resource planning through a specific set of actions. Productivity refers to an employee's ability to complete tasks according to standards in terms of completeness, cost, and speed, which reflects the utilization of human resources in an efficient and effective manner in the company. Efforts that have been made by Mixue to increase employee performance productivity are by providing skills in the form of introducing SOPs, (1) Carrying out training, (2) Appraising employee performance, (3) Career path (career development), and (4) Conduct regular performance evaluations

Abstract

This community service aims to find out decision making and obstacles in operational assignments at J&T Cargo. Decision making is a result or output of a mental or cognitive process that leads to choosing a path of action among several available alternatives, each decision making result in a final choice. This is related to the assignment of position that have been determined by the leader in making a decision, then whether the decision can be carried out effectively according the employee’s abilities and knowledge. The aim of this research is to find out the decision making strategies and obstacles in operational assignments at J&T Cargo. This article was prepared by means of observation and interviews to collect data. The results of this research show that J&T Cargo is effective in making decision to obtain maximum work results in the future.
