Abstract

Employees are the core of any successful business, and their skills are critical to achievingcompany goals. This research focuses on improving performance management in the salesand marketing department of Hotel BC. By carefully examining the core competencies ofthe sales and marketing team, this research aims to develop a performance evaluationsystem that accurately reflects employee contributions. This system will utilize thestrengths of human resource information systems and data analysis. Our research usedan analytical descriptive approach to understand the current performance evaluationprocess and identify areas for improvement. Preliminary findings indicate that work ethic,sales achievement, and company loyalty are important factors in assessing theperformance of marketing staff. While these factors may evolve as the hotel develops, it isimperative to maintain a rigorous and systematic approach to performance evaluation.

Abstract

Purpose: To see the attitude of AI towards personal innovativeness and to see the differences in attitudes between generation Z and previous generations Research methodology: Respondents in this study are 1,293 people consisted of entrepreneurs and professional workers covering generation Z and previous generations. Results: GAAIS has influence of 9.5% on personal innovativeness, bus the data showa no statistically significant difference in attitude towards AI between cross-generational. Limitations: The analysis in this study still requires the addition of more in-depth variables such as personality, trust, social and subject norms to be able to predict attitudes towards AI in more depth. Contribution: This study is expected to provide deeper insight into the influence of attitudes towards AI on personal innovativeness, considering that in the future AI will be close on society.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of millennials' and generation Z's attitudes on their intention to continue using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed online to individuals working in various fields of work that use AI in their activities. A total of 140 questionnaires were returned, exceeding the minimum sample size requested. Data processing involved validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and regression tests. The results showed that millennials tend to have a skeptical attitude towards AI capabilities, while generation Z is more open to the use of AI in various aspects of life. Regression analysis showed that a positive attitude towards AI significantly influences the intention to continue using the technology. The study also revealed that human happiness is more related to human aspects than the use of AI technology. As such, the findings provide valuable insights into the complexity of human interactions with AI and the implications for future technology adoption.

Abstract

Abstrak: Semua industri menghadapi banyak tantangan selama proses penerapan teknologi baru. Salah satu tantangannya adalah sikap individu yang dapat terbagi menjadi sikap positif dan sikap negatif terhadap AI. Sikap positif terhadap AI beberapa diantaranya adalah mempercepat proses pekerjaan, membuka peluang ekonomi baru, menghemat biaya, sedangkan sikap negatif AI dimana mendatangkan malapetaka bagi manusia karena ketakutan akan menggantikan peran manusia, dapat menghilangkan kemampuan berbahasa alami, ketergantungan pada teknologi, risiko kecurangan seperti plagiat, dan dapat menyalahgunakan data pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap umum terhadap AI dan niat kelanjutan menggunakan AI pada pegawai yang pernah menggunakannya di area Jakarta dan Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen (GAAIS/Sikap Umum terhadap Skala Kecerdasan Buatan) memiliki pengaruh sebesar 44,6% terhadap variabel dependen (CI/Niat Kelanjutan) untuk kembali menggunakan Kecerdasan Buatan. Ini berarti bahwa hampir setengah dari variasi dalam niat seseorang untuk terus menggunakan AI dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi dalam sikapnya terhadap AI. Dengan kata lain, sikap positif dan negatif terhadap AI, dapat memprediksi kemungkinan seseorang untuk terus menggunakan teknologi ini. Selain itu juga bahwa penelitian ini menambah sudut pandang baru pada Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) yaitu teknologi AI di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital literacy on the employability of healthcare professionals in type B hospitals in Banten Province. Digital literacy is defined as the ability to search, comprehend, and effectively utilize digital information, which has become increasingly important in the era of digital transformation. Employability refers to an individual's ability to secure and retain employment by leveraging their skills and knowledge. This quantitative study employed a descriptive analysis method involving 132 respondents from healthcare professionals with undergraduate and diploma degrees. The results revealed that digital literacy influences employability by 41.5%, while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors. Respondents with undergraduate degrees tend to have higher digital literacy and employability levels than those with diplomas. This highlights the importance of integrating digital literacy into healthcare education curricula and providing additional training to improve these skills in the workplace. This study offers strategic insights for hospitals and educational institutions to prepare healthcare professionals for future digital challenges.

Abstract

Sharing knowledge in the medical field is crucial as it can enhance patients care quality and accelerate their recovery. An individual's proficiency in technology can motivate them to share their knowledge more extensively. However, medical staff often exhibit low digital literacy, as it is not typically considered a core competency in their careers. This study employed a survey method involving 122 medical staff at a hospital. Data was analyzed using regression testing to verify the influence of digital literacy on the intention to share knowledge. The results indicated that individuals with high digital literacy are more inclined to share their knowledge, benefiting the organization. Additionally, individuals with significant work experience demonstrated lower digital literacy compared to those with moderate experience. Organizations can use this research as a reference to design technology skills training programs that are more accessible to senior employees.

Abstract

Dalam konteks persaingan yang semakin ketat dan tuntutan masyarakat yang semakin tinggi, rumah sakit dihadapkan pada tekanan untuk terus berinovasi dan mengadopsi teknologi terbaru. Namun, implementasi teknologi yang cepat dan kompleks dapat menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, termasuk peningkatan beban kerja, kesulitan adaptasi, dan munculnya perasaan cemas dan tertekan pada tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh adopsi teknologi Industri 4.0 terhadap tingkat stres (technostress) pada tenaga kerja rumah sakit, dengan fokus pada perbedaan antar generasi. Menggunakan Model Adopsi Teknologi sebagai kerangka, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adopsi teknologi berdampak pada tingkat stress yang dialami pekerja kesehatan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa generasi Z lebih terbuka terhadap teknologi front-end seperti kecerdasan buatan dibandingkan generasi X dan Y. Faktor-faktor seperti sistem pendidikan, aksesibilitas teknologi, dan budaya organisasi turut mempengaruhi penerimaan teknologi. Meskipun adopsi teknologi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, namun juga dapat menimbulkan stres jika tidak dikelola dengan baik.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that human resource management influences knowledge management. By having knowledge management, companies can create new knowledge, store knowledge in a more orderly manner, increase the possibility of sharing knowledge, and increase the application of knowledge to workers. So from this perspective, companies are advised to manage human resources and ensure it’s good application. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Human Resource Practice on Knowledge Management Practice at Sarang Oci Restaurant. Sarang Oci, which is the object of this research, is a Manadonese restaurant located in Jakarta. The research type is explanatory. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The questionnaire obtained 133 respondents from a population of 190 people. After that the data is processed through seven tests, namely Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Heteroscedasticity Test (Glejser), Simple Linear Regression Effect Test, and Coefficient of Determination Test. To measure the effect of Human Resource Practice on Knowledge Management Practice. From this research it can be seen that at Sarang Oci Restaurant Knowledge Management Practice is influenced by 14.1% by Human Resource Practice.

Abstract

The rapid technological evolution in banking poses novel challenges for service delivery. Banks must navigate innovation to stay competitive, yet achieving impactful innovation requires harmonizing innovative work behavior that bridges conceptual and practical aspects. This pertains especially to relevant product and service development. Technology's pivotal role in banking underscores the need for improved digital literacy. This research explores the correlation between digital literacy and innovative work behavior via causal analysis. Surveys and questionnaires garnered participant input on digital literacy and innovative tendencies. Rigorous analysis, including simple linear regression, revealed digital literacy's significant impact on innovative work behavior. Furthermore, variations arise in employee responses across three banks, influenced by size, type, location, and selection processes. The study underscores adapting internal banking policies for digital literacy, aligning with operational demands.

Abstract

The development of health service technology in the current era is swift. This development is both an opportunity and a threat to health technology in Indonesia. Artificial Intelligence is an exciting thing in this era (Digital Health Era) because it displays and provides convenience in digitalization. This research article aims to determine the attitudes of health workers regarding their intentions towards using AI in the world of work and to describe the attitudes of health workers towards AI. The health workers who were the sample for this study were health workers at hospitals in North Sulawesi. The method used in this research is quantitative description and qualitative with interviews. Cross-sectional data collection was done using questionnaires and interviews. This research shows that attitude (behavior/GAAIS) has a 53% influences intention to use (Intention to Use) AI. Health workers expressed quite positive views about the existence of AI, having high hopes that it could be used to make daily work easier. However, an important thing concerns them: AI cannot replace health workers regarding patient service because it does not have the human side, such as empathy, feelings, and direct service (touch). This research is expected to complement the literature on the development of AI technology, improve and enrich readers regarding AI and the world of health, and make the world of health and health workers more advanced and better, especially in digitalizing health
