Abstract

Ibu hamil selama kehamilannya memiliki resiko mengalami kekurangan energi kronik terutama dimasa pandemi penyakit covid-19 akibat kebijakan pemerintah dalam pembatasan mobilitas masyarakat dan menurunnya ekonomi masyarakat. Perlunya upaya untuk mengantisipasi agar tidak terjadi kekurangan energi kronik pada ibu haml, perlu pemanfaatan pekarangan keluarga sebagai sumber gizi kelarga khususnya pada ibu hamil. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dalam rangka peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang kekurangan energi kronik dan pemanfaatan pekarangan sebagai sumber gizi keluarga. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dievaluasi melalui kegiatan pre dan post tes. Secara kuantitatif nilai rata-rata peserta sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan adalah 41,5 dan mengalami kenaikan menjadi 77,17 dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang KEK dan dan pencegahannya sebesar 19.45 point. Hasil observasi terdapat peningkatan perilaku keluarga dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai alternatif sumber gizi keluarga dari 41,6% meningkat menjadi 66,6% setelah pendampingan keluarga.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the main causes of death in women not only in Indonesia but also in the world. Cervical cancer can cause damage to other organs and can cause death. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between age at first marriage, use of contraceptives, family history and the incidence of cervical precancer in women of childbearing age at the Metro City Health Center. This research is a case control. The sample size is 72 respondents divided into 11 case groups: 61 control groups. Sample selection using Simple Random Sampling. Secondary data obtained from the medical records and primary data obtained by interview. The results from 72 respondents turned out to be: Proportion: age at first marriage Age 20 years: 38.9%, hormonal contraception: 63.9%, There is no relationship between the incidence of cervical pre-cancer with age at first marriage (P value = 1000), using hormonal contraception (P value = 0.048) and There is a significant relationship between pre-cervical cancer and a family history (OR = 0.116) means that respondents who have a family history have 0.116 times the chance of IVA (+) compared to respondents who have no family history of cervical cancer

Abstract

The World Health Organization WHO, recommends to mothers around the world to exclusively breastfeed their babies for the first 6 (six) months after the baby is born to achieve optimal growth, development and health. At the Yosomulyo Health Center, 45.3% were not given exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the ineffectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers at the Yosomulyo Community Health Center. Quantitative research method with cross sectional design. The total population of breastfeeding mothers at the Yosomulyo Health Center is 336 nursing mothers. The sample size was determined based on the Lemeshow formula obtained by 75 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The analysis obtained the p-value of each variable, namely: knowledge with a p-value of 0.009, parity with a p-value of 0.000 and family support with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge, parity, and family support with the inability of exclusive breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers at Yosomulyo Public Health Center, Metro City.
