Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the chain posture, substantial content and time span of ecotourism laws and policies in Indonesia. The instrumentused in this research was closed ended questionare, which was then analyzed using One Score One Criteria System. In various criteria, the subtantialcontent of all ecotourism laws and policies in Indonesia showed a score of 5 or a rather good meaning. This non-optimal value can be said to have noclarity of comprehensive and structured objectives so that the dynamics of the substantial content in the law is still partial. Above that, it must beunderstood that ecotourism should not be interpreted as a journey to the natural in remote area only, but it must be enforced in every space oftourism destinations. Based on the research results on the legislation documents including (Laws, Government Regulations, Presidential Regulations,Presidential Decrees, Ministerial Regulations) it was found that between mandatory rules and implementing regulations were not set within a periodof about 2 years accordingly. Therefore, it is necessary for the integration of stakeholders to revise the various ecotourism laws and policies inIndonesia comprehensively, systematically and objectively so that in the dynamics of its implementation can optimize the seven pillars of ecotourismdevelopment. Keywords: analysis, criteria, law and policy

Abstract

The existence of the Djuanda Forest Park near the urban area indirectly indicates that the area is close to the city community. The attitude of city people who tend to have an attitude of being able to take care of themselves without having to depend on others is feared to enter the surrounding communities and subsequently influence the development of Djuanda Tahura ecotourism. The research objective was to measure public perceptions of ecotourism and ecotourism objects in the Djuanda Forest Park, measuring community participation in the development of ecotourism in Djuanda Forest Park, and developing a strategy for increasing community participation in developing ecotourism in Djuanda Forest Park. The method used is observation, questionnaire, interview, and literature study. Communities strongly agree that ecotourism must meet indicators of community involvement, ecology, conservation, culture, education, and visitor satisfaction. The community considers that the Djuanda Tahura has beautiful ecotourism objects (highest average score = 4.61). The community values both ecotourism and the object of ecotourism because the community has a sense of care and sense of belonging to the Djuanda Tahura as an area that can provide benefits, both in ecological, social and economic aspects. However, community participation in ecotourism development is only in the implementation and acceptance of benefits and has participation in the form of personnel and expertise. Based on people's perceptions and participation, the community is at the lowest level of participation, so an SO strategy is needed, namely by utilizing all the strengths to make the most of opportunities. Keywords: Forest Park Ir H Djuanda, participation, perception, society, strategy

The results showed that there were 7 individuals found in the location of community plantations, while 4 other individuals were in the protected forest area and Manusela National Park with density 22,04 individual/km2. The existence of moluccan cockatoos on community plantations has led to a negative perception of the community that cockatoo is one of the pests for the plantation. The right conservation efforts to preserve cockatoos and create positive interactions with the community are by planning on village tourism, Moluccan cockatoo captivity, and managing the habitat of the cockatoos in and around the Manusela National Park area. Keywords: captivity, conservation, ecotourism, habitat, moluccan cockatoo

Abstract

The use of technology in the search and delivery of tourism information is growing, although, on the one hand, the conventional tourism information media in the form of printed materials and audio-visual is still a popular source of information for tourists. The decision to visit a tourist destination can be influenced by various factors, one of which is the influence of stimulus from promotional media. Problems that occur, the study of the role of promotion from a comprehensive and integrated perspective has not been done much. Many promotions are interpreted as an effort to convey information to the stage of carrying out purchasing/travel activities. The purpose of this article is to analyze the perceptions of the academic community regarding the meaning of promotion through printed and audio-visual material for nature-based tourism in a comprehensive and integrated manner, as well as to determine the factors that influence decision-making by the academic community to actually visit nature-based tourism destinations. The distribution of questionnaires was conducted using a sample of academic community consisting of three categories, namely, lecturers, ecotourism students, and communication students with a total of 270 respondents to assess printed and audio-visual material. The results of the study show that tourism promotion can be effective and needs to implement seven phases of comprehensive and integrated promotion meaning.
