Abstract

The synergy between teachers, parents, and the community in anticipating drug abuse in MTsN 3, MTsN 4, and MTsN 1 is going well, but these anticipatory efforts must continue to be strengthened. Drug abuse is a serious violation that has a negative impact on the future of the younger generation. The three educational institutions have taken the right steps, such as working with parents to supervise their children and providing an understanding of the dangers of drugs, both through direct meetings and online media. In addition, the school also collaborates with the Police, BNN, and Health Centers to provide counseling on the negative impacts of drug abuse. These efforts have succeeded in reducing, even eliminating cases of drug abuse in both schools for quite a long time. However, the synergy between schools, families, and the community must continue to be strengthened. Supporting factors include cooperation with competent parties and parental awareness, while obstacles include the influence of social media and lack of parental supervision of children's socializing outside of school.

Abstract

The focus studied includes; The role of the Madrasah Head as a supervisor, the role of the Madrasah head in assessing teacher work performance and Factors Influencing the Madrasah Head in Teacher Performance Evaluation. The subject of the study was the head of the madrasa as the Top Leader at MAN 1 Martapura. The analysis process was carried out by examining all data generated from interviews, observation results and documentation results related to the role of the head of MAN Martapura 1 as Supervisor and assessing teacher performance, as well as the factors that influence it. This study shows that the role of the madrasa head at MAN 1 Martapura is quite well implemented. The role of the madrasa head as coordinator, consultant, group leader and evaluator is also influenced by several factors, namely educational background, teaching experience, funds and infrastructure. Another finding from the results of this study shows that the success of a madrasa is actually the result of cooperation and shared responsibility of all components in the school, so synergy needs to be built in the management of a madrasa. Assessment of teacher achievement is very important as a benchmark for achieving teacher teaching achievement

Abstract

This study investigates the teaching strategies implemented at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Banjarmasin to enhance students' ability to read the Qur'an. Employing a qualitative research approach, the study utilizes descriptive methods to analyze how these strategies are executed within the classroom setting. Primary data were gathered through structured observations and in-depth teacher interviews, supplemented by a literature review to contrast current findings with established pedagogical practices. This comprehensive approach aimed to provide a nuanced understanding of the instructional methodologies, their implementation, and the contextual factors affecting their efficacy. The findings indicate combining traditional and contemporary teaching strategies significantly improves students' Qur'anic reading abilities. Repetitive recitation and group readings are pivotal in fostering phonetic skills and memorization. At the same time, incorporating digital tools and visual aids enhances engagement and aids in understanding complex Tajweed rules. Role-playing exercises have also proven to boost students' confidence and interactive learning. However, challenges such as inconsistent student engagement levels, limited technological resources, and large class sizes have been identified as substantial obstacles. These issues highlight the need for continued institutional support and resource allocation to optimize the effectiveness of teaching strategies and ensure comprehensive learning outcomes for all students.

Abstract

Morals are the primary foundation for students' character in Islamic boarding schools, but modern challenges, such as globalization and the development of information technology, may weaken the internalization of moral values. In this case, the dawn halaqah activity at the Darul Ilmi Banjarbaru Islamic Boarding School is a vital strategy to instill moral values through direct experience, material appreciation, and the example of the supervisors. This research aims to examine the process of internalizing moral values through dawn halaqah as a medium for students' character development. The approach used is a phenomenological qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with ustaz, pesantren administrators, and students, as well as participatory observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out inductively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that dawn halaqah plays a significant role in shaping the attitudes and behaviors of students, including honesty, tawadhu’, responsibility, patience, discipline, tolerance, and emotional control, thereby creating a harmonious and conducive pesantren environment. The internalization process occurs through regular habituation, spiritual reflection, and the example of the supervisor, strengthening spirituality and building students' emotional and social maturity. These findings confirm the effectiveness of routine religious activities as a medium for character development and show that a hands-on and exemplary approach can strengthen the internalization of moral values. The implications of this research can serve as a basis for developing character education strategies in other Islamic boarding schools and religious education institutions, as well as guide teachers in designing activities that are more contextual, systematic, and oriented towards the formation of a complete character. The uniqueness of this study lies in the discovery that the intensity of student involvement in the dawn halaqah is a key factor that directly accelerates the internalization of moral values. This finding has not been widely reported in previous research.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the implementation of environmental education grounded in the concept of ecotauhid (Islamic ecotheology) among students at the Darul Hijrah Putera Martapura Islamic Boarding School. This research focuses on identifying how ecotahyd values are integrated into educational activities and how this approach contributes to shaping students' ecological awareness and character. The novelty of this research lies in its emphasis on ecota-tawheed as a holistic framework that unites beliefs, knowledge, and environmental responsibility within the pesantren context. This qualitative study uses observation, interviews, and documentation to examine forms of environmental education, which include: (1) Curricular, through Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and Islamic Religious Education subjects that contain values based on ecotauhid; (2) Co-curricular, through enrichment activities such as fisheries, agriculture, and reforestation; and (3) Extracurricular, through the Adiwiyata program that promotes environmental protection and appreciation. The development of the Eco Pesantren and Agrosilvofishery programs shows the integration of religious practices with environmental sustainability. This study concludes that ecotauhid-based education increases students' ecological awareness while fostering a religious, independent, and competitive generation.
