Abstract

The provision of infrastructure is very important in the stage of development. Infrastructure contributes to the regional economy and makes economic development more increased by giving direct and indirect effects. But still quite a lot of problems experienced in infrastructure develompment, one of which is the imbalance of development between regions. The purposes of this study was to explain and analyze the influence of infrastructure development to economic growth in West Sumatera Province especially road infrastructure, electricity infrastructure and seaport infrastructure. The research analysis used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis model with multiple regression method which used data in the period of 2004-2018. Variables that are used in this study is Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) as the output measurement, length of road (km), sum of electricity production and consumption (MWh), and sum of seaport loading and unloading volumes (ton). Based on the model in analysis, road infrastructure has no effect to the economic growth in West Sumatera Province. While electricity infrastructure and seaport infrastructure affect to the economic growth in West Sumatera Province. In the resaerch results, seaport infrastructure give the highest contribution to the economic growth in West Sumatera Province. From the regression results, the value of R-Square (R2) is 0,745. This means that the independent variables is able to explain the dependent variable 74,5% while the remaining 25,5% is explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence audit ethics (X1), audit fees (X2) Auditor Experience (X3) And Competence(X4), partially on the quality of the audit (Y) at the Padang city public accounting firm, using the data collection method in the form of a questionnaire as many as 66 respondents. In data analysis using validity and reliability tests. And the classical assumption test is normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity. The analysis method used is multiple regression linear regression analysis, coefficient of determinant, f test, t test, and r2 test using the SPSS16.0 tool. The results showed that the audit ethics variable had an influence on the audit quality variable, the audit fee in this study also had an influence on the audit quality variable, the Auditor's experience in this study had an influence on the audit quality variable and the competence in this study had an influence on on the audit quality variable

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the variables of Work Discipline and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Bengkulu Mukomuko Branch. Data collection by distributing questionnaires to 31 respondents using saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are sampled, using data processing techniques validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression testing and test t with the help of the SPSS application. The results of the study show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Bengkulu, Mukumuko branch, and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Bengkulu Mukomuko Branch.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), kelompok acuan dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian Smartphone Merek OPPO di Ulak Desa Karang Selatan, Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengguna smartphone merek Oppo di Desa Ulak Karang Selatan Padang. Penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin, jumlah responden sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan uji statistik t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa electronic word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone Oppo di Desa Ulak Karang Selatan Padang. Kemudian kelompok Acuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone Oppo di Desa Ulak Karang Selatan Padang. Terakhir promosi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone Oppo di Desa Ulak Karang Selatan Padang.

Abstract

The availability of quality human resources provides an opportunity for leaders to select the best employees for strategy implementation. However, the effectiveness of strategy implementation depends not only on human resources but also on the organizational culture and leadership style applied. Based on the results of the first hypothesis test, it was found that the organizational culture variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pesisir Selatan Regency DPMDPPKB. Therefore, in this study, the first hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Based on the results of the second hypothesis test, it was found that the leadership style variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pesisir Selatan Regency DPMDPPKB. Therefore, in this study, the second hypothesis (H2) is accepted. Organizational culture partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that if organizational culture improves, employee performance will also improve. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that if leadership style improves, employee performance will also improve. Organizational Culture and Leadership Style simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pesisir Selatan Regency DPMDPPKB. Therefore, it can be concluded that if Organizational Culture and Leadership Style improve simultaneously, employee performance will also improve.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Green Product, Green Packaging, dan Environmental Knowledge terhadap Keputusan Pembelian produk The Body Shop di Basko Grand Mall Kota Padang. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah Theory of Planned Behavior. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi nya adalah konsumen The Body Shop Basko Grand Mall Kota Padang sebanyak 345 konsumen. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden yang ditentukan melalui rumus Taro Yamane dengan teknik insidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Green Product berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, Green Packaging berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta Environmental Knowledge berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan bahwa Green Product dan Environmental Knowledge mampu meningkatkan keputusan pembelian, sedangkan persepsi terhadap Green Packaging justru menurunkan keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important aspect of human resource management, particularly in public sector organizations, because it is closely related to the quality of performance and organizational sustainability. This study aims to analyze the effect of job involvement, job characteristics, and organizational support on employees’ organizational commitment at the Office of the Regent of South Solok. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design, involving 99 respondents determined through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed that job involvement and job characteristics had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, whereas organizational support had no significant effect. These findings affirm that organizational commitment is more strongly influenced by employees’ attachment to their work and the quality of job design than by perceptions of organizational support. This study contributes to enriching the study of organizational behavior in the government sector and provides practical implications for government agencies in designing strategies to improve employee commitment through strengthening job involvement and improving job characteristics.

Abstract

Although job satisfaction has been widely studied, research that specifically examines the influence of work ethic, work environment, and workload in health service institutions remains limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of work ethic, work environment, and workload on employee job satisfaction at Balai Selasa Community Health Center. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 78 respondents selected using total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that work ethic, work environment, and workload had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. These findings contribute to the development of human resource management studies and expand understanding of the factors that influence job satisfaction in the health service sector. The conclusion of this study confirms that strengthening work ethic, creating a conducive work environment, and managing workload properly are important aspects in improving employee job satisfaction at Balai Selasa Community Health Center.

Abstract

Although employee job satisfaction has been widely studied, research that specifically examines the influence of leadership style and work environment in plantation companies remains limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee job satisfaction at PT Kencana Sawit Indonesia. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 109 respondents selected using total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The work environment also had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. These findings contribute to the development of human resource management studies and expand understanding of the factors that influence employee job satisfaction in the plantation sector. The conclusion of this study confirms that leadership style and work environment play an important role in improving employee job satisfaction. Its practical implication is that management needs to apply participatory leadership and create a conducive work environment to support employee job satisfaction at PT Kencana Sawit Indonesia.

Abstract

Turnover intention is one of the important issues in human resource management because it can affect employee stability, work effectiveness, and the sustainability of company operations. However, research specifically discussing the effects of work stress and workload on turnover intention among employees of PT Sarana Sumatera Barat Ventura remains limited. This study aims to analyze the effects of work stress and workload on employee turnover intention. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 34 employees selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and the t-test. The results show that work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, with a significance value of 0.035. Workload also has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, with a significance value of 0.016. This finding contributes to the development of the human resource management literature, particularly regarding psychological factors and workload that influence employees’ intention to leave the company. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that proper management of work stress and workload is an important factor in reducing employee turnover intention. The practical implications of this study may serve as a basis for company management in formulating strategies for workload management, work stress control, and improving employee stability.
