Abstract

Abstract: This research is descriptive correlational with a simple paradigm research design that aims to find out the correlation between study habits and student learning outcomes. The sample of this study is a saturated sample that is entirely from the population of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung amounting to 85 students, saturated sample intends to make generalizations with very small errors. Measured study habits include 7 indicators, namely regular Biology learning, preparation for learning in the night, came early to attend the class, conditions / learning atmosphere, learning to understand and to the point, habit of facing exams and practice of visiting the library. The study data of study habits were obtained through a questionnaire and the learning outcomes were obtained from secondary data on the student achievement of the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year which were then processed by Product Moment correlation analysis (r) and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that (1) Study habits of students grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung is at a good category with an average of 71.98. (2) Biology achievement of student grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung is found out in high category with an average of 76.12. (3) There is a relationship between the study habits and biology achievement of eleventh grade students at senior high school 1 Tinambung. The correlation level obtained is 11.5% and classified as weak or low correlation. Keywords: student habits, student achievements.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was aimed to produce BioMagz product as an alternative resource of independent learning which was valid and practical used in SMA Negeri 1 Mangkutana. This was a research and development using 4D model by Thiagarajan which consisted of 4 steps, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop and Disseminate. The research result developed BioMagz was valid and practical. The value of the validity was 4.17 which meant that BioMagz as an alternative resource of independent learning included in the valid criteria. The value of practicality was 4.6, which meant that BioMagz as an alternative resource of independent learning belonged to the practical criteria. While the student response presentation of 84,5% which means BioMagz got positive response from student. Keywords: BioMagz, Alternative, Resource of Independent Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in activity, motivation and student learning outcomes through the application of the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang on cell material. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang. The type of research instrument used was a learning activity observation sheet, a learning motivation questionnaire and a learning outcome test in the form of multiple-choice tests of 20 items for each cycle of cell material. The data obtained were analyzed statistically descriptive. The results showed that (1) there was an increase in the biology learning activities of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang namely classically from 66.47% increased to 80.03%, the amount of increase from cycle I to cycle II was 13.56%; (2) an increase in biology learning motivation of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang that is classically from 82.87% to 86.97%, the amount of increase from cycle I to cycle II is 4.11%; (3) an increase in biology learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang namely from 59.38% of students who completed to 96.88%, the number of increases from cycle I to cycle II was 37.50%. These results indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the activity, motivation and learning outcomes of students of the XI MIPA 1 MAN class Enrekang.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, activity, motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri in Biringkanaya District, Makassar City, including SMAN 18 Makassar, SMAN 7 Makassar, SMAN 22 Makassar. Knowledge of balanced nutrition is part of the community's reference to nutrition, including adolescents, so this is an effort to increase adolescent knowledge with the hope of changing unbalanced nutritional behavior. This knowledge will raise awareness, and eventually will cause people to behave in accordance with the knowledge they have. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about balanced nutrition and attitudes towards balanced nutrition. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a survey method, using tests and questionnaires. The results of the research knowledge obtained 5.9% in the good category, 11.9% sufficient category, 82.0% less category. While the attitude of 29.8% in the sufficient category, 7.4% less, and 62.4% good. There is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of SMA Negeri students in Biringkanaya District, Makassar City, which is categorized as weak. It is necessary to provide education about Balanced Nutrition Knowledge for students.Keywords: Knowledge of nutrition, attitude towards nutrition
