Abstract

This study aims to determine the costs and farm income. Research carried on in March to May 2010 in the village of Tonsewer, district of Tompaso, Regency of Minahasa. The data obtained in this study include primary data and secondary data. The method of collecting data was obtained by interview using the questionnaire as a tool in data collection. Primary data were obtained from tomato farmers and secondary data obtained from the relevant authorities of this research. Results showed that most farmers in the village of respondents aged   28-67 years, having elementary through high school levels, the number of dependents a family of 3 to 4 people and is the owner of tenant farmers. This study uses the income analysis to determine the level of income from tomato farmers and comparative analysis between revenue and costs  to determine the level of success of farming tomatoes. The results showed that the average farmer's income of Rp 3,386,987.8 per two planting seasons or Rp 4,908,784.6 per one planting season.  R/C  > 1 is a successful farmer in tomato farming.

Abstract

This study aims to measure Management Control Systems at BLPT Kaaten Tomohon. This research lasted for 3 months, carried out at Training Center Technical Education (BLPT) Kaaten Tomohon which is located in Matani I, Jln Raya Tomohon-Tondano. The data used are the primary data taken in relation to two kinds of products as a superior product ie table products (dining table and guest table) and chair products (church chairs) in one production process. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis by calculating contribution contribution of Revenue Center, Cost Center and Profit Center of each product, while Investment Center is calculated based on R / C ratio. The result Chairs Dining Table products are profitable products and contribute greatly to the mainstay products at BLPT Kaaten Tomohon.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits before and during the Covid-19 pandemic for Bamboo Crafts MSMEs at Warung Kenzo in the Kinilow Village, North Tomohon District, Tomohon City. This research was conducted from March to May 2022. The location of the research was carried out in the Kinilow Village, Tomohon Utara District, Tomohon City. The data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The sampling method in this study was purposive sampling. The variables studied were the characteristics of the respondents, business characteristics, and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on income. The analytical method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the study showed that the average profit of bamboo handicraft owners at Warung Kenzo before the co-19 pandemic was Rp.981,167/month and profits during the co-19 pandemic were Rp.10,442,500/month. This proves that Covid-19 has had a positive impact on micro, small and medium enterprises for bamboo handicrafts at Warung Kenzo in the Kinilow Village.

Abstract

This study aims to identify internal and external factors and analyze the business development strategy of Porang plant at PT.Kawanua Konjac Nusantara. The research was conducted from March to May 2023. The technique of determining informants in this study was purposive with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires and literature studies. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected through interviews, based on questionnaires, to the director and company manager of PT.Kawanua Konjac Nusantara, North Sulawesi Provincial Agriculture Office, North Sulawesi Provincial Industry and Trade Office, Plant Cultivation Research Institute, and Food Processing Engineering Research Institute. Secondary data was obtained through books obtained from local bookstores and the internet through google scholar in the form of books, journal articles and theses related to the topic of this research, namely the Porang Plant Business Development Strategy. The results showed that from the environmental analysis and identification of the company's internal and external factors, as well as the quadrant that shows the company's position is in quadrant I, which supports an aggressive strategy (growth). The strategy that can be used by the company PT.Kawanua Konjac Nusantara is the SO strategy by increasing the supply of raw materials to optimize the performance of processing machines and collaborating and cooperating between competitors to reach the top.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the Show Window agro-tourism development strategy in Kakaskasen II Village, North Tomohon District. This research was conducted from May to July 2023. The sampling method used purposive sampling and accidental sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained directly from respondents by conducting direct interviews using questionnaires, to the Secretary of the Tourism Office, Head of the Agriculture Service, Head of Show Window Agro-tourism Center and Employees, Village Staff, Community, and Visitors to Show Window agro-tourism. Secondary data were obtained from related agencies, namely through the Agriculture and Fisheries Service of the City of Tomohon and through the Center for Hatchery, Nurseries and Tourism Agrovidya as well as through literature studies related to the data needed in this study. The analytical method used in this research is SWOT analysis. The results showed that the Show Window Agrotourism Development Strategy in Kakaskasen II Village, North Tomohon District is at the coordinates of 1.06;2.59 which are in quadrant I, which means that this position supports growth strategy (growth).

Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer preferences in buying palm sugar at Bersehati Market, Manado City, which is very important for palm sugar sellers in order to have the opportunity to earn more income or profit. This research was conducted for 2 months from February to March 2023. The research took place at Bersehati Market, Manado City. Data collection used observation and interview methods. Sampling in this study was non-probability, namely convenience sampling to consumers of palm sugar at Bersehati Market which was taken as many as 30 respondents. Data on consumer preferences in buying palm sugar in Bersehati Market were analyzed descriptively with the help of tables. The results showed that the palm sugar that became consumer preferences in making purchasing decisions was palm sugar that had a blackish brown color, retail cut size, plastic packaging with a price that was not too expensive, namely IDR 8.000 to IDR 20.000.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the transfer of non-agricultural labor to agricultural labor during the Covid-19 pandemic in Woloan II Village, Tomohon City. The research lasted for three months from August to October 2022. The research was conducted in Woloan II Village, West Tomohon Sub-district. The data collected included primary data obtained through interviews using questionnaires, to labor respondents who moved from the non-agricultural sector to the agricultural sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. Secondary data were collected through research reports through the internet, journals, and other information related to the research. The sample in this study is workers in Woloan II Village, Tomohon City who have moved from the non-agricultural sector to the agricultural sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected using purposive sampling with a sample of 15 respondents. The data is presented in a table and then described descriptively. The results of the research on the transfer of non-agricultural labor to agricultural labor in Woloan II Village, West Tomohon Subdistrict during the Covid-19 pandemic showed that the transfer to the agricultural sector with the rice commodity received a percentage of 46.67 percent and the second largest was the cabbage commodity of 40.00 percent and for the corn commodity had a percentage of 13.33 percent.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the income of red chili farming in Kamanga Dua Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted in August 2023. This research uses 2 types of data, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews using a list of questions as a tool in data collection. Secondary data were obtained from literature related to the research. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling technique.  The number of research samples was 5 farmers as respondents. The results of the study were analyzed using farm analysis, namely cost analysis, revenue, income and continued with the Revenue Cost Ratio. The results of this study indicate that the average income obtained in red chili farming in Kamanga Dua Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency is IDR 44,039,222 per one growing season obtained from the average receipt of IDR 65,798,000 and the average total cost of IDR 21,758,778. The income obtained from red chili farming in one month amounted to Rp14,679,741 which was obtained from the income divided by three months of harvest. The R/C Ratio analysis shows that red chili farming in Kamanga Dua Village, Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency is feasible. This is seen from the ratio of total income to total costs which is> 1, namely 3.02.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the product flow, financial flow and information flow of the rice supply chain in North Mopuya Village, North Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The research was conducted for 2 months, from July to August 2023. The research was conducted in Mopuya Utara Induk Village, North Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi. The data used in the study were primary data collected by conducting documentation, observation and direct interviews using a list of questions (questionnaire), and secondary data collected through the results of literature studies and related offices or agencies. The sampling method used by purposive sampling method was taken 7 farmers, after selecting 7 farmers continued with the snowball sampling method to know the institutions involved in the supply chain. The data analysis method used in this research is the analysis of the flow of the rice supply chain in North Mopuya Village, North Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency which is presented in a descriptive form that describes and explains the research subject. The results showed that the rice supply chain in North Mopuya Village, North Dumoga Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Regency based on product flow, financial flow and information flow has been running very well, starting from farmers as producers to the community as consumers.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the profile of Lumintang Beach tourist attraction in Bentenan Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research lasted for two months with research time from June to July 2023. The research was conducted at Lumintang Beach tourist attraction located in the Bentenan Village Tourism Area, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with processors. Secondary data were obtained from agencies related to the research, literature or previous research. The method used in sampling is purposive sampling, namely samples taken deliberately and the sample is the tourist attraction officer. The analysis technique used is descriptive. The results showed that the Lumintang Beach tourist attraction in Bentenan Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency is a tourist spot that has potential and destinations that can be an attraction for visitors by using existing facilities such as boats to visit the islands around Lumintang Beach, jetski and banana boat for visitors to use to play on the water and gazebo visitors can use as a place to relax or carry out thanksgiving events, to support the economy of the Bentenan Village community, the community can make a culinary place as a livelihood.
