Abstract

Para guru SD di Kecamatan Kediri belum pernah merancang pengembangan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga menentukan luas daerah bangun datar Jadi masalah yang muncul adalah para guru gugus III di Kecamatan Kediri kemampuan mengembangkan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga menentukan luas daerah bangun datar masih rendah. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah : 1) Meningkatkan kemampaun para guru SD Gugus III di Kecamatan Kediri tentang merancang alat peraga menentukan luas daerah bangun datar dan 2) Meningkatkan kemampuan merancang langkah-langkah pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga menetukan luas daerah bangun datar. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh para guru terkait dengan merancang pengembangan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga dapat diselesaikan dengan :1) Memberikan pemahaman tentang merancanag alat peraga menentukan luas daerah bangun datar, 2) Simulasi dan praktek merancang pengembangan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga menentukan luas daerah dan 3) Diskusi dalam kelompok kerja dan presentasi tentang hasil kontruksi alat peraga dan langka-langkah pengembangannya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan melalui metode yang telah ditatapkan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini ternyata sangat efektif yakni terjadi perubahan kearah perbaikan yang signifikan hal ini ditunjukkan oleh skor rata-rata pre-tes = 4,138 lebih kecil dari skor rata-rata post-tes = 7,320. Dari hasil uji diperoleh = 1,725 pada tafar signifikasi 0.05. Jadi secara keseluruhan bahwa pengetahuan tentang luas daerah bangun datar dan keterampilan merancang pengebangan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga menentukan luas daerah bidang rata para guru SD di Gugus III Kecamatan Kediri meningkat yang ditunjukkan oleh perubahan nilai rerata tersebut. Dengan diperolehnya hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan pelatihan ini diperluas dalam rangka memperkuat pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 dan para pemerhati pendidikan turut serta mengambil peran untuk mewujudkan kegiatan ini untuk mengantisipasi pembelajaran matematika abad 21

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika dalam Implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Dimensi kurikulum 2013 menekankan pada dimensi pedagogis modern dalam pembelajaran, yaitu menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah yang dalam pembelajaran lebih fokus pada kegiatan mengamati, bertanya, menalar, mencoba, membentuk jaringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar penilaian perancangan pembelajaran dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh, kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa  adalah sebesar 85,11 dengan kategori baik. Nilai tertinggi untuk kompetensi pedagogik terletak pada indikator menentukan metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan nilai kompetensi profesional mahasiswa  adalah sebesar 88,94 dengan kategori baik. Nilai tertinggi untuk kompetensi professional terletak pada indikator pemilihan materi dan sumber belajar, dengan kategori amat baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik mahasiswa dalam implementasi kurikulum  2013 tergolong dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of self-confidence on students’ mathematics learning outcome, the influence of mathematics communication ability on students’ mathematics learning effect, and the influence of self-confidence and mathematics communication ability on students’ mathematics learning outcome of 8th grade SMPN 22 Mataram academic year 2019/2020. This type of research was ex post facto. The sample of this research were 44 students with total sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this reseacrh using questionnaire, test and documentation. The instrument of this research was in the form of a confidence questionnaire, a test of mathematics communication ability, and documentation of students’ mathematics learning outcome of 8th grade SMPN 22 Mataram. From the data analysis obtained, there was no influence of self-confidence on students’ mathematics learning effect of 8th grade SMPN 22 Mataram. Whereas for mathematics communication ability there was found an influence on students’ mathematics learning effect of 8th grade SMPN 22 Mataram with the coefficient of determination of 83.7%. The results of data analysis also showed that there was a significant influence between students' self-confidence and mathematics communication ability on students’ mathematics learning effect of 8th grade SMP 22 Mataram with the coefficient of determination of 83.1%.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the degree of difficulty in learning mathematics in grade X students with the population in this study is 359 students grade X and the number of study samples is 72 students were taken with cluster sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used a essay test and unstructured interview questions for 10 students. The instrument of this study are in the form of mathematical essay questions that are closed to the material system of linear equations in two variables for 4 problems. The data obtained were analyzed by fit student answers and key answers in learning difficultiy analysis guide. The results of this study indicate that students of class X in the academic year 2019/2020 had the most difficulty learning principle in the amount of 21.90% which is included in the low category level. While students who had difficulty learning concepts and operations are 13.90% and 12.34% respectively included in the very low category level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of verbal ability and numerical ability on the ability to solve math problems, to determine the effect of verbal ability on the ability to solve math problems, and to determine the effect of numerical abilities on the ability to solve math problems of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study student of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling so that the sample was obtained by class VIII-A. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis and simple linear regression analysis. From the results of the data analysis, there is a significant influence between verbal ability and numerical ability on the ability to solve math problems of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar in the 2019/2020 school year and there is a significant influence between numerical abilities on students' ability to solve math problems. But there is no significant effect between verbal ability on the ability to solve math problems of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar in the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the online mathematics learning process and to find out the mathematics learning outcomes in terms of the mathematics disposition of class XII IPA students at SMA Negeri 7 Mataram. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. All students of class XII IPA at SMA Negeri 7 Mataram are the population, where the sample size is 62 students who were selected by cluster random sampling rule. Data collection used a questionnaire, interview and documentation study. From this research, the results show that: (1) The learning process carried out by the teacher changes from direct learning to online learning. In the online learning process, there are several difficulties experienced by students, including students who do not understand the material presented by the teacher, whether the material is delivered in the form of a pdf or video that has been shared. In implementing the online learning process the teacher is not the only source of learning so students are actively looking for other learning reference sources such as videos on YouTube and websites. Assessment of learning outcomes is carried out by providing a written test of the test resulting in that there is no increase in student learning outcomes during learning with an online system. The implementation of online learning cannot be separated from the supervision of parents and teachers. (2) There is a correlation between final semester test scores with students' mathematical dispositions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to develop macromedia flash-based mathematics learning media for cartesian coordinate material for class VIII SMPN 19 Mataram. Macromedia flash-based learning media is an audio-visual media presented in the form of software consisting of basic competencies, learning objectives, materials and quizzes. This development aims to overcome the weaknesses in the learning process that have occurred due to the lack of use of media in classroom, besides that it can also assist students in learning the concept of cartesian coordinates, especially in visualizing the objects in the material. The research methodology used in developing this learning media is 4D (Define, Design, Developement, Dissemination). Data collection techniques using interview guidelines and questionnaires. The result of this research is a software product of learning media for cartesian coordinates based on macromedia flash in the CD form. The product has been declared valid with good criteria by 4 validators. Based on the limited trial, it is known that the response of class VIII students of SMPN 19 Mataram that use the macromedia flash-based learning media cartesian coordinate is good.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model towards the ability of mathematics problem solving of grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram academic year 2019/2020. Type of the research is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control design. The population of the research is all students grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram academic year 2019/2020. The sampling technique was saturated sampling tecnique, so the sample obtained that XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIA 2 as the controlling class. The instrument used was a test of the students learning achievement (post-test) on the sequence and series material. Quantitave analysis obtained by using t-test. The result of this research showed that there is a difference in the average score of students who get learning use the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning models with students who use direct learning. Meanwhile the effect of Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model towards the ability of mathematics problem solving of using the effect size with moderate category. This means that the Think Talk Write (TTW) type of cooperative learning models is quite influential on the mathematics problem solving ability of grade XI MIA SMA NW Mataram.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of e-learning based mathematics learning on the material of the two-variable linear equation system for class VIII at MTsN 1 Mataram. This type of research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The research design used a post-test-only control design. All students of class VIII at MTsN 1 Mataram were the population and the sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The sample used was class VIII-8 and VIII-9 who were a member of one sample group. The data in the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test to determine whether or not e-learning based mathematic learning was effective in the material of the two-variable linear equation system. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that e-learning-based mathematics learning with learning video is effectively applied to the material of the two-variable linear equation system for class VIII students at MTsN 1 Mataram the academic year 2020/2021.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the level of ability of mathematical connections of students in solving math story problems in class VIII at State Junior High School 2 Labuapi school year 2021/2022. This research is descriptive quantitative research. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling techniques and the research subjects selected in this study were 10 students of class VIII of State Junior High School 2 Labuapi. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out using the data reduction stage, the data presentation stage, and the conclusion withdrawal stage. Overall, students who are in the category are very good as many as 2 people, good categories as many as 3 people, enough categories as many as 2 people, categories less as much as 2, and categories are less than as many as 1 people. In general, it is seen from the average student grades that the ability of students' mathematical connections in solving math story problems is in the category of sufficient. Students in the category are very good and good already able to master both indicators of mathematical connections, students in the category are quite only able to master one of the mathematical indicators only, students in the category are less able to master both indicators of mathematical connections, and students in the category are very less able to master both mathematical indicators.
