Abstract

Antenatal care is important in health optimization and early detection of maternal and fetal problems during pregnancy. In developing countries, access to prenatal care is still not optimal, which is indicated by the high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia of 173 per 100,000 live births. Midwives have an important role in pregnancy services by providing midwifery care that focuses on the needs of women. This study aims to determine the experience of pregnant women in South Kalimantan in accessing midwifery services during pregnancy. This study is qualitative and uses a generic exploratory approach. The research Data were taken using in-depth interviews with five pregnant women and analysed using the Collaizi framework with attention to the rigour of research data. The results of this study indicate that socio-cultural and socio-economic factors significantly impact the choice of healthcare facilities used. The existence of health policies and programs that focus on the needs of women is expected to optimize the quality of midwifery services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga dan dukungan petugas kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada bayi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Beruntung Raya Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua orang tua yang memiliki bayi berumur > 6 bulan sampai dengan 10 bulan dengan sampel berjumlah 47 orang. Penelitian bertempat di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Beruntun Raya. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan spearman rank. Hasil Peneltian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan ibu baik, sebaian besar keluarga mendukung, sebagian besar dukungan petugas baik, sebagian besar memberikan ASI ekslusif, ada hubungan pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga dan dukungan petugas kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada bayi dengan nilai ρ = 0,000. Diharapkan perawat Perawat sebaiknya selalu memberikan motivasi kepada ibu yang memiliki bayi untuk memberikan ASI ekslusif dengan cara setiap ibu hamil yang memeriksakan kehamilan dipuskesmas.

Abstract

Jumlah anak dengan retardasi mental di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya dengan jumlah mencapai 80.837 dan jumlah anak retardasi mental di Kalimantan Selatan sebanyak 1.286 anak. Permasalahan pada anak dengan retardasi mental adalah kesulitan hidup secara mandiri termasuk kemandirian personal hygiene. Oleh karena itu, dukungan keluarga sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendorong kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kemandirian personal hygiene anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Pelambuan Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 responden retardasi mental ringan berusia 6-20 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai p-value 0,000 Lebih Kecil Dari 0,05. Sehingga disimpulkan dukungan keluarga mempunyai hubungan dengan kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Pelambuan Banjarmasin. Oleh karena itu, guru atau pihak sekolah dianjurkan untuk memberikan edukasi dan fasilitas berupa media informasi tentang pentingnya

Abstract

Pemberian ASI pada dasarnya bermanfaat bagi Ibu. Ibu yang memberikan ASI akan mendapatkan keuntungan yang tidak didapatkan pada saat tidak memberikan ASI Namun tentunya juga terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi dimasyarakat mengenai pemberian ASI Ekslusif adalah banyaknya ibu yang tidak paham mengenai cara memberikan ASI dengan benar dan bagaimana tekhnik menyusui secara tepat saat kehamilan sehingga proses menyusui saat setelah melahirkan menjadi berjalan lancar sehingga ASI Ekslusif dapat tercapai. Kabupaten Banjar menduduki urutan kedua persentase pemberian ASI eksklusif terendah pada tahun 2022, yaitu sekitar 45,4%, yang dimana angka ini masih dibawah rata-rata persentase secara keseluruhan yaitu sekitar 60% dan mengalami penurunan jika dibandingkan dengan persentase ASI eksklusif pada tahun 2021. Didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu berdasarkan dari diagram pertama, dari total 16 ibu hamil didapatkan hasil rata-rata seluruh ibu hamil mengalami kenaikan kearah positif tentang kemampuan keterampilan melakukan teknik menyusui yang benar sejak dari pertemuan pertama hingga pertemuan terakhir yaitu sebesar 38%. Pemberian ASI juga bukan sekedar memberi makanan kepada bayi, akan tetapi di saat yang sama ibu juga memberikan kasih sayang, rasa nyaman dan aman, serta celoteh dan senandung yang dapat merangsang memori dan keterampilan seorang anak.

Abstract

The living habits of the elderly at this time are lack of exercise, lack of control or sorting out healthy food and the population does not understand about the use of herbal plants for medicine. Life habits or unhealthy behavior that often causes many diseases so that many elderly have hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high cholesterol, high uric acid, and experience rheumatism. Objective: Efforts to improve the quality of life of the elderly by conducting examinations for the elderly and education about herbal plants to accompany the elderly. This activity took place in Kamawakan Village, Loksado District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency with the target of the elderly. The method used is seminar and question and answer. Result: there is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly in Kamawakan Village about elderly health problems, the healthy way of life of the elderly and their prevention efforts which are known from the evaluation through pretest and posttest. Conclusion: There is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly about elderly health problems and prevention efforts so that it is hoped that the elderly can live healthy and can overcome elderly health problems by utilizing herbal plants.

Abstract

The low implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) in postpartum mothers is due to several things, including the lack of information and knowledge that must be done about correct breastfeeding techniques, obstacles related to services at the place of delivery and the lack of support provided by family members. The aim of the program is to increase the knowledge of postpartum mothers about early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) after childbirth in Sungai Lulut Village. Method of Implementation: This activity uses the method of Counseling and Questions and Answers about increasing postpartum mother's knowledge about early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) after delivery. Results: After the implementation of this community service activity. The conclusion is that there is an increase in knowledge of postpartum mothers about the implementation of IMD.

Abstract

Introduction : Anemia is a health problem that causes sufferers to experience fatigue, fatigue and lethargy. Anaemia is estimated to affect half a billion women 15–49 years of age in worldwide and in indonesia the prevalence of anemia in adolescents is 32%,  This article aims to identify programs related to the treatment of anemia in adolescents, support and obstacles in the implementation of anemia reduction programs. Method: This article used Arshey & O’Malley Framework; selecting articles of which search flow is described through PRISMA Flowchart. Results: Based on 10 chosen articles, 6 articles are marked very good quality and 4 articles are marked as a good quality. Furthermore, there are 2 obtained main themes; Program Form and Barriers. Conclusion: The use of educational media and socialization related to anemia and its prevention for adolescents is expected to increase knowledge and awareness of adolescents about the importance of preventing anemia for adolescents.

Abstract

Introduction: Correct breastfeeding technique is one influencing factor for successful breastfeeding, with a target for the province of South Kalimantan of 80% of babies exclusive breastfeeding, correct breastfeeding technique _ is one _ influencing factor for successful breastfeeding. Study this aim for knowing the influence of method demonstration on Skills cares mother's breast childbirth. Method: Research this is pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest approach posttest design, and retrieval sample with a purposive sampling technique amounted to 30 mothers postpartum customized with criteria inclusion and exclusion. The instrument in a study is a checklist. The data analysis used is Wilcoxon. Result: Average skill score of the respondent before being given the demonstration is 6.17 meanwhile score of Skills respondents after being given the average demonstration is 14.63. Statistical test results bivariate obtained p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. There is an influence of Demonstration Care Breast to Skills Care Breasts on Postpartum Mothers in the PBM work area. Discussion: Yes influence demonstration care breast to Skills care mother's breast childbirth. Need developed use of media, tools, and methods in as an effort to strengthen education health mother childbirth specifically about care breasts that can support breastfeeding success _ both through institutions education and giving service health.

Abstract

Utilization of maternal and child health services is currently still hampered by a lack of mothers' knowledge and attitudes regarding dangerous signs of pregnancy and other related matters of pregnancy, and it is essential to give understanding to pregnant women regarding the book Maternal and Child Health (KIA). The average mother knows That the KIA book is only used during pregnancy. This research uses methods of interviews to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding the use of KIA books at Banjarmasin health centers. This type of research is analytical descriptively using the chi-square test. The results showed that knowledge of pregnant women's attitudes regarding the use of KIA books obtained a p-value of 0.009 with a degree of 95% confidence (p<0.05), so the obtained conclusion is connection significant between knowledge of the attitudes of pregnant women regarding the use of KIA books, as well as necessity counseling periodically because not all women are pregnant remember or know Benefits of the KIA book.

Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is severe or excessive nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Continuous vomiting without treatment can disrupt fetal growth and development in the uterus with its clinical manifestations. Hyperemesis gravidarum not only threatens the lives of pregnant women, has a physiological impact on the lives of pregnant women and their fetuses, and can also have psychological, social, and economic effects. This study aims to determine what factors are associated with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women using a quantitative approach with the correlation method. The population in this study was 45 people, and the sample was the same as the population; the sampling technique used was total sampling. This data analysis used the Chi-Square test. This study's results indicated a relationship between age, parity, occupation, and education with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women at RS Islam Banjarmasin. Chi-square results showed that there was a relationship between the age of pregnant women and hyperemesis gravidarum with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, there was a relationship between parity and hyperemesis gravidarum with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, there was an occupational relationship with hyperemesis gravidarum with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, there was a relationship between education and hyperemesis gravidarum with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05.
