Abstract

Dolphinear is an instrument for monitoring sound wave signals underwater. This study aims to see how the results of sound recording by Dolphinear type DE200 based on variations in distance and frequency of the sound source using the Audacity Software. In this study, the sound source will be generated through a waterproof speaker with a frequency variation of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. The distance between the sound source and the dolphinear is also varied from 1 to 5 meters. Audacity software is used to generate, record, and obtain the spectrum of the recorded audio sound signal. Based on the spectrum of the sound recorded by the DE200 dolphinear, frequency peaks close to the source frequency can be detected in recording using a 500 Hz sound source, but the main frequency peaks in the spectrum are difficult to detect in recording using sound sources above 500 Hz. In this study, it was also found that there is a limit to the recording ability of the dolphinear DE200 for frequencies above 18 kHz which is indicated by a decrease in intensity at that frequency.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola spasial jangkauan pelayanan kesehatan di Kota Yogyakarta menggunakan software QGIS. Software QGIS dipilih karena memiliki kelebihan yaitu open source dan user friendly. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis spasial menggunakan buffer dan overlay. Data yang digunakan diantaranya data administrasi wilayah, fasilitas kesehatan, dan jalan. Jenis data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yang didapatkan dari website resmi https://tanahair.indonesia.go.id/portal-web. Dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada wilayah administrasi Kota Yogyakarta dan Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. Pola spasial jangkauan pelayanan kesehatan di wilayah DIY dengan mengambil Kota Yogyakarta dan Kabupaten Gunung Kidul telah berhasil dibuat. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa Kota Yogyakarta mendominasi fasilitas kesehatan dengan sedikitnya 1 puskesmas disetiap kecamatan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu persebaran fasilitas kesehatan di Kota Yogyakarta merata dan lokasinya saling berdekatan. Sedangkan Kabupaten Gunung Kidul fasilitas kesehatan didominasi didaerah Kota Wonosari. Wilayah bagian selatan seperti Tanjungsari, Tepus, Girisobo realtif sangat jauh dari akses fasilitas kesehatan.

Abstract

Kondisi geografis Indonesia memungkinkan banyaknya kejadian bencana alam namun dapat diminimalisir dampaknya. Integrasi pendidikan dengan bencana gempabumi dapat menggunakan bahan ajar. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan adalah E-modul. E-modul menggabungkan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi sehingga cara mengajar menjadi lebih menarik, menyenangkan dan inovatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk membuat E-Modul Fisika Berbasis Mitigasi Bencana Gempabumi Pada Matakuliah Ilmu Pengetahuan Bumi dan Antariksa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development yang berpedoman pada langkah-langkah Borg and Gall. Tahapan penelitian yaitu: (1) studi pendahuluan, eksplorasi, (2) perancangan produk, (3) validasi ahli dan revisi, (4) uji terbatas dan revisi, (4) uji terbatas dan revisi, (5) produk revisi akhir. Pada penelitian ini tidak sampai pada tahap field testing dan dissemination and implementations. Menurut penilaian ahli materi, ahli media dan pengguna yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta, skor masing-masing penilaian yaitu 81,56% dari ahli materi, 100% dari ahli media dan sebesar 88% dari pengguna. E-modul fisika berbasis mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dapat dikategorikan sangat baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran khususnya pada mata kuliah Ilmu Pengetahuan Bumi dan Antariksa. Abstract Indonesia's geographical conditions allow for many natural disasters but their impact can be minimized. Integration of education with earthquake disasters can use teaching materials. One of the teaching materials that can be used is the E-module. E-module combines science and technology so that teaching methods become more interesting, fun and innovative. This study aims to create an E-Module in Physics Based on Earthquake Disaster Mitigation in the Earth and Space Sciences Course. The research method used in this research is Research and Development which is guided by the steps of Borg and Gall. The research stages are: (1) preliminary study, exploration, (2) product design, (3) expert validation and revision, (4) limited test and revision, (4) limited test and revision, (5) final revised product. This research did not reach the stage of field testing and dissemination and implementations. According to the assessment of material experts, media experts and users, namely physics education students at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta University, the scores for each assessment were 81.56% from material experts, 100% from media experts and 88% from users. E-module physics based on earthquake disaster mitigation can be categorized as very good for use in learning, especially in Earth and Space Science courses.

Abstract

The use of software in the field of geophysics is often limited to the instantaneous use of interfaces without a deep understanding of the computational processes behind them. This leads to limitations in data interpretation and the development of new methods. To address this issue, it is necessary to explicitly visualize the data processing process through programming in order to strengthen computational thinking skills, which are one of the important competencies of the 21st century. This study aims to visualize the microseismic data processing process using programming in GNU Octave software. The method used is a simulation of microseismic data processing based on the HVSR (Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio) approach, with field data collected from the Yogyakarta area. The processing is carried out by building a programming script in GNU Octave, the results of which are then compared with the Geopsy software as a verification tool. The research results indicate that data processing visualization using the HVSR method through GNU Octave can be performed effectively, and the results exhibit high consistency with the output from Geopsy. The dominant frequency on both curves is the same at a frequency of 1.59 Hz. In addition to the dominant frequency, the HVSR curve shape of both software also shows a similar trend pattern in the mid to high frequency range (around 2–10 Hz), where the amplification value decreases gradually. This demonstrates the accuracy of the developed script and proves that this approach can serve as an educational tool for understanding the functioning of geophysical software in a more transparent and in-depth manner. Programming with GNU Octave can be used as an efficient and accurate geophysical analysis tool. This provides opportunities for users, especially in academic environments with limited access to commercial software.

Abstract

The philosophy of existentialism emerged driven by the uncertain world conditions due to world wars. So existentialism is present as a thought movement that emphasizes human subjectivity and freedom. This study has a purpose for reflection. Reflection means the process of understanding events in the mind or experience that is owned. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. This study utilizes a literature search. The literature search process begins with key phrases such as “existentialism”, “education” and “awareness”. Man must exist, which means realizing that he exists to control himself and act on his behalf. The philosophy of existentialism talks about human existence, while talking about humans means questioning educational issues. Each person is unique, which is different from one another. Realizing this is important for students, parents, teachers, principals, board members, and all those involved in education. Education is expected to realize the "intensity of awareness" of students. So that they are aware of their responsibility to determine the life they will live themselves.   Filsafat eksistensialisme muncul didorong oleh keadaan dunia yang tidak menentu akibat perang dunia. Sehingga eksistensialisme hadir sebagai gerakan pemikiran yang menonjolkan subjektifitas dan kebebasan manusia. Studi ini memiliki tujuan untuk refleksi. Refleksi berarti proses memahami peristiwa dalam pikiran atau pengalaman yang dimiliki. Studi ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Studi ini memanfaatkan pencarian literatur. Proses pencarian literatur dimulai frasa kunci seperti “eksistensialisme”, “pendidikan” dan “kesadaran”. Manusia harus eksis yang artinya menyadari bahwa dia ada untuk menguasai dirinya dan bertindak atas nama dirinya. Filsafat eksistensialisme berbicara tentang keberadaan manusia, sedangkan berbicara tentang manusia berarti mempersoalkan masalah pendidikan. Setiap pribadi adalah unik yakni berbeda-beda satu dengan yang lainnya. Menyadari hal tersebut menjadi penting bagi seorang siswa, orangtua, guru, kepala sekolah, anggota dewan, dan semua yang terlibat didalam pendidikan. Pendidikan diharapkan dapat mewujudkan “intensitas kesadaran” siswa. Sehingga sadar akan tanggungjawabnya untuk menentukan kehidupan yang akan dijalaninya sendiri.

Abstract

Building damage caused by earthquakes is more prevalent in the sedimentary areas of Yogyakarta City compared to the hilly regions of Wonosari and Kulonprogo, which have harder soil layers. The campus of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST) is one of the campuses located in Yogyakarta City, where the regional geology is dominated by the Merapi Young Volcanic Deposits Formation. The UST campus area is vulnerable to earthquakes due to its proximity to an active seismic zone, making earthquake vulnerability mapping based on microseismic data an important necessity to support disaster mitigation efforts. The microseismic method was used in this study, while data analysis employed the Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR). Microseismic measurements were chosen because they have the advantage of not damaging the surface conditions of the ground, thus preserving the environment, and are easy to use in urban areas. The research method stages include survey design, field data collection, data processing and interpretation, and the creation of earthquake vulnerability maps. Data points were collected from 7 locations covering the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa campus area. The research results indicate that the study area has a dominant frequency value ranging from 1.10 to 2.74 Hz. Meanwhile, the amplification value ranges from 1.25 to 2.2. The sediment thickness of the study area ranges from 32 to 79 meters. The Seismic Vulnerability Index (Kg) of the study area ranges from 0.57 to 4 on a low to high scale. Based on the dominant frequency values, amplification, and seismic vulnerability index, the areas of the UST campus that are more vulnerable to earthquakes are the northern, eastern, and central parts, while the southern part is relatively safer.

Abstract

The study of dynamic electrical physics among first-semester students is often unpopular because it is considered abstract and difficult to relate to real-world applications. To foster a positive attitude and interest in the subject matter, contextual and technology-based learning strategies are needed. This study aims to apply a simulation of a BLDC electric motor using the open-source software GNU Octave in the context of electric vehicles, as well as to describe students' affective responses after participating in the learning activity. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with participants being students from the Physics Education and Vocational Mechanical Engineering Education programs. The simulation was developed based on the mathematical model of the BLDC electric motor and visualized using numerical methods in GNU Octave. After participating in the simulation-based learning activity, students were asked to complete a questionnaire measuring affective aspects such as interest, motivation, and attitude toward physics learning based on applications. The questionnaire results indicated that the majority of students responded positively to the use of simulations. The research results indicate that over 90% of students demonstrated interest, motivation, and positive attitudes toward simulation-based physics learning on electric motors. Students also evaluated GNU Octave as an attractive, free, and relevant tool for learning needs in the digital age. Thus, the application of GNU Octave as a simulation medium not only supports conceptual understanding indirectly but is also effective in fostering students' affective aspects toward physics and electric vehicle technology learning.

Abstract

Microtremor has been widely used to determine soil characteristics and dynamics. In this research, particle motion analysis was conducted on 15 microtremor data recordings around the surface of the Bribin Underground River in the Gunungsewu Karst Area. Spectrum analysis was conducted as a basis for determining the frequency range for the particle motion analysis process. Particle motion analysis was only carried out on the horizontal component of the microtremor signal which is expected to provide a representation of the river flow path. The results of particle motion analysis of microtremor recordings in the surface area of the Bribin Underground River show that there are only two points that have a motion-resultant oriented to certain direction, which is perpendicular to the river channel.The points are A4 and B4 which are located in the eastern part of the river flow path.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 memberikan tantangan tersendiri bagi dunia pendidikan baik dilevel sekolah dasar maupun level perguruan tinggi. Terdapat 4 kecakapan yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa dilevel perguruan tinggi. Salah satu kecakapannya adalah berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKM Literasi Lingkungan Berbasis Tri N (Niteni, Niroke, Nambahi) yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi produk dan angket respon dari mahasiswa terhadap produk LKM. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data hasil validasi produk LKM dan analisis kepraktisan LKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKM literasi lingkungan berbasis Tri N layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Literasi Lingkungan dengan persentase keidealan produk sebagai berikut: 1) persentase keidealan produk dilihat dari aspek materi sebesar 92,72% kategori valid; 2) persentase keidealan produk dilihat dari aspek media sebesar 90% kategori valid; dan 3) persentase kepraktisan produk LKM sebesar 86,60 dengan kategori praktis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKM Berbasis Tri N (Niteni, Niroke, Nambahi) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran literasi lingkungan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah mengetahui ide yang muncul dan landasan berfikir matematis yang digunakan saat Puspita dan Wijayanti mendapatkan eksistensi dari modul hopf bi-clean dan modul hopf clean dan metode dari penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur. Kemudian ide tentang komodul clean didefinisikan melalui sifat cleaness dari ring endormofismanya dan landasan berfikir matematisnya adalah analogi yaitu menganalogikan seperti ketika memunculkan ide mengenai modul clean. Dengan memanfaatkan gagasan koaljabar sebagai kasus khusus dari komodul, maka ide tentang koaljabar clean adalah sama sebagai komodul clean. Kemudian ide tentang modul hopf bi-clean didefinisikan melalui sifat cleaness dari struktur dasarnya yaitu sebagai modul clean dan juga sebagai komodul clean, serta landasan berfikir matematisnya adalah generalisasi yaitu dengan cara menggabungkan sifat cleaness dari struktur dasarnya sebagai modul clean dan sebagai komodul clean. Untuk ide dan landasan berfikir matematis dari modul hopf clean mengikuti seperti terbentuknya ide dan landasan berfikir matematis dari modul hopf bi-clean.   Mathematical reasoning about the existence of bi-clean and clean hopf modules   Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to know the ideas that arise and the mathematical reasoning used when Puspita and Wijayanti get the existence of bi-clean hopf modules and clean hopf modules and the method of this research is a literature review.  Then the idea of clean module is defined through the cleanness property of its endomorphism ring and the mathematical reasoning is analogous to the idea of clean module. By utilizing the idea of coalgebra as a special case of commodules, the idea of clean coalgebra is the same as clean commodules. Then the idea of bi-clean Hopf module is defined through the cleaness properties of its basic structure as a clean module and also as a clean commodity, and the basis of mathematical thinking is generalization by combining the cleaness properties of its basic structure as a clean module and as a clean commodity. The idea and mathematical reasoning of the hopf clean module follow the idea and mathematical reasoning of the hopf bi-clean module.
