Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the simultaneous influence of competence, work environment, and work discipline on employee performance at the BKPSDM Office of Jayapura Regency. Research Design and Methodology: The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data was collected from 95 respondents, all employees at the BKPSDM Office. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 22. The study's design includes the examination of variables such as competence, work environment, and work discipline, with controls and conditions appropriate for assessing their collective impact on performance. Findings and Discussion: The findings indicate that competence, work environment, and work discipline positively and significantly affect employee performance. The study reveals that a conducive work environment and high work discipline amplify the impact of competence on performance. This underscores the importance of a holistic approach in human resource management, where these three elements synergistically create optimal working conditions. Implications: The study's implications highlight the necessity of investing in competency development, creating supportive work environments, and enforcing fair and transparent work discipline. Future research is recommended to explore the interaction between these factors and other variables.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of physical evidence on customer loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction at Shadow Edge Park Jayapura Cafe. The hypothesis is that customer satisfaction mediates the impact of physical evidence on customer loyalty. Research Design and Methodology: The method used was descriptive quantitative with a survey design. Data were collected from 120 Shadow Edge Park Jayapura Cafe consumers through questionnaires. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22 software. Findings and Discussion: The results show that physical evidence positively and significantly influences customer satisfaction, mediating this influence on customer loyalty. The findings support the Servicescapes theory, suggesting that physical elements such as interior design, cleanliness, and ambiance of the café are key factors that influence customer satisfaction and loyalty. Implications: Café managers should focus on managing physical evidence elements to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Further research is needed to explore factors such as social interaction and service quality that may influence customer loyalty. Future studies could expand geographic and cultural coverage to test the consistency of these findings.

Abstract

Purpose: The research aims to comprehensively understand how community services—such as disaster preparedness programs, public health initiatives, and social support systems—fortify urban resilience by addressing diverse urban challenges. Research Design and Methodology: Employing a qualitative research approach, this study conducts an extensive literature review to identify and analyze how community services contribute to urban resilience. The methodology involves thematic analysis and cross-case comparisons to synthesize findings from relevant literature. Findings and Discussion: The findings highlight that community services are pivotal in fostering social cohesion, enabling collective action, and providing essential resources, enhancing communities' capacity to withstand and recover from crises. Disaster preparedness programs improve emergency response and recovery times, while public health initiatives address health-related vulnerabilities and support overall well-being. Social support systems, including welfare programs and housing assistance, mitigate economic hardships and promote social inclusion. Implications: Implications of this study suggest that policymakers and practitioners should focus on enhancing community engagement, investing in community services, and developing innovative models for their integration and sustainability. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of community services on resilience and identify best practices for their implementation across diverse urban contexts.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the relationship between service quality, consumer trust, and purchase decisions in the context of the Jequilla florist business. Research Design and Methodology: This study used quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. Data was collected through questionnaires from 120 randomly selected consumers of Jequilla florist. The variables measured include service quality, consumer trust, and purchasing decisions. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26 software. Findings and Discussion: The results show that service quality does not directly influence purchasing decisions. However, service quality has a significant effect on consumer trust, and this consumer trust significantly affects buying decisions. This suggests that building consumer trust through service quality is a key factor influencing purchasing decisions. Implications: This research contributes to business practice and policy to improve service quality and build consumer trust. Florist business management is advised to focus on transparency, consistency, and responsiveness in service. Further research is recommended using a longitudinal design and considering other variables such as price and promotion to provide more comprehensive insights.

Abstract

In the era of disruption, myriads of digital entrepreneur in Indonesia still faces significant problems due to the demographical disadvantage and the lack of government policies that can overcome the problem faced. This series of problems has resulted to the existence of digital inequality. This study aimed to explains the digital inequality in Indonesia that has an impact on the inequality of opportunities and challenges for digital entrepreneurs. Qualitative approach to case studies in Indonesia. Informants were taken from 3 regions in Indonesia as well as government representatives responsible for the development of information and communication technology. Data was collected through in-depth interviews online and data was processed with the help of NVivo12. The study was conducted for 6 months. The results of this research will certainly have implications for the development of technology research, digitalization and communication as well as business. If the problem of digital inequality is resolved, digital business development in Indonesia will be more competitive. However, the biggest implication can certainly be a recommendation for information and communication technology development policies in Indonesia, such as the policy of building base transceiver station (BTS) in areas where there is no internet connectivity.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran nilai inti ASN BerAKHLAK sebagai variabel mediasi dalam pengaruh transformasi digital terhadap budaya kerja di IPDN Kampus Papua. Metode Penelitian: Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kausal digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan sebab-akibat antarvariabel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sensus, melibatkan seluruh ASN (PNS dan PPPK) di IPDN Kampus Papua sebanyak 98 responden. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan dengan standar minimum 0,70 untuk outer loading, Cronbach’s Alpha, dan Composite Reliability. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Seluruh konstruk memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Nilai R-Square menunjukkan bahwa transformasi digital menjelaskan 59,4% variasi nilai inti ASN BerAKHLAK, sedangkan transformasi digital dan nilai inti ASN BerAKHLAK bersama-sama menjelaskan 65,3% variasi budaya kerja. Analisis F-Square menunjukkan pengaruh positif signifikan antarvariabel. Uji mediasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien jalur 0,324 dengan T-statistik 4,509 dan P-value 0,000, menandakan mediasi signifikan. Implikasi: Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan nilai inti ASN BerAKHLAK sebagai strategi dalam mengoptimalkan pengaruh transformasi digital terhadap budaya kerja, serta dapat menjadi acuan kebijakan peningkatan kinerja ASN di lingkungan pendidikan kedinasan.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kausal antara manajemen perubahan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di IPDN Kampus Papua dengan dinamika kelompok sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausal-komparatif (causal-comparative research). Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sensus, melibatkan 53 praja muda IPDN sebagai responden. Uji validitas menunjukkan nilai outer loading di atas 0,70 untuk seluruh variabel. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh konstruk memenuhi kriteria Cronbach’s Alpha dan Composite Reliability di atas 0,70. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model struktural berbasis PLS. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa manajemen perubahan menjelaskan 32,6% variabilitas dinamika kelompok, dan bersama-sama dengan dinamika kelompok menjelaskan 76,0% variabilitas efektivitas pengelolaan kegiatan. Nilai f² menunjukkan pengaruh besar manajemen perubahan terhadap efektivitas kegiatan (1,152), serta pengaruh sedang dinamika kelompok terhadap efektivitas kegiatan (0,308). Uji mediasi menunjukkan dinamika kelompok secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh manajemen perubahan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan kegiatan (koefisien jalur 0,189; p = 0,020). Implikasi: Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan dinamika kelompok dalam mendukung keberhasilan manajemen perubahan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Strategi pengelolaan perubahan perlu diintegrasikan dengan pembinaan kerja sama, komunikasi, dan kohesi kelompok.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of Organizational Commitment on Member Performance with Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable in the Gegana Detachment of Sat Brimob Polda Papua. Research Design and Methodology: Quantitative methods were employed in this study, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to members of the Gegana Detachment. Findings and Discussion: The results demonstrate that Organizational Commitment significantly influences Member Performance, both directly and through Job Satisfaction as a mediating factor. Organizational Commitment positively impacts Job Satisfaction, subsequently enhancing Member Performance. This underscores the positive relationship among these variables, indicating that high organizational commitment leads to greater job satisfaction, thus enhancing performance. Implications: This research contributes to the field of human resource management, particularly in policing contexts. It underscores the significance of Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction in enhancing Member Performance. The study offers empirical evidence for policymaking in police human resource management, emphasizing the importance of fostering commitment and job satisfaction for optimal performance. However, limitations include a sample restricted to a single police unit and a cross-sectional design, which does not capture the temporal dynamics of the variables. Future research should employ a broader sample and a longitudinal design, while also considering additional variables, such as leadership style and organizational culture, to provide more comprehensive insights.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to assess the influence of celebrity endorsement on the purchase intention of Implora beauty products and analyze the mediating role of consumer trust. Research Design and Methodology: The research employs a quantitative explanatory design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 109 respondents, students using Implora products at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Yapis Papua. The data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24 software. Findings and Discussion: The findings indicate that celebrity endorsement does not have a significant direct effect on purchase intention but has a substantial indirect impact through consumer trust. Consumer trust strongly mediates between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention, supported by the significant results of the Sobel test. These findings imply that marketing strategies involving celebrities should emphasize building consumer trust and focusing on product quality and brand image. Implications: The study recommends further research on cultural contexts and different product types to gain deeper insights into celebrity endorsement, consumer trust, and purchase intention dynamics.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of digital marketing strategies in enhancing a company's financial performance through a systematic literature review. It focuses on the impact of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and the integration of multiple digital marketing channels, as well as the influence of critical metrics like Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Investment (ROI), and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). The research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing peer-reviewed articles and relevant literature from the past decade sourced from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Thematic analysis was conducted to synthesize findings on the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies and metrics. Results indicate that SEO and content marketing significantly boost organic traffic and financial metrics, enhancing sales and customer retention. The integration of multiple digital channels amplifies these effects, improving overall ROI. Effective management of CAC, ROI, and CLV is crucial for financial optimization, with strategies focusing on personalized marketing and data-driven approaches showing the most success. External factors such as economic conditions and technological advancements moderate these effects. The study highlights the importance of adopting integrated digital marketing strategies and adapting to external changes and consumer behavior to sustain financial performance. Future research should explore industry-specific applications and the role of emerging technologies.
