Abstract

Tesis ini meneliti Untuk mengetahui dan menganlisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, profesionalisme, komitmen kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai pada Biro Layanan Pengadaan Dan Pengelolaan Barang Milik Negara (LPPBMN) Kementerian Perhubungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif, yakni pendekatan dengan menggunakan dua atau lebih variabel guna mengetahui hubungan atau pengaruh yang satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini memiliki dua variabel yaitu, variabel independen/variabel yang mempengaruhi dan variabel dependen/variabel yang dipengaruhi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Profesionalisme Kerja dan Komitmen Kerja sebagai variabel bebas (independen) terhadap kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat (dependen). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Biro Layanan Pengadaan Dan Pengelolaan Barang Milik Negara (LPPBMN) Kementerian Perhubungan yang berjumlah 148 orang. Dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode sensus yakni teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Istilah lain dari sampling jenuh adalah sensus. Dengan demikian sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh populasi sebanyak 148 orang. Temuan membuktikan bahwa Lingkungan kerja, Profesionalisme dan komitmen kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Biro Layanan Pengadaan Dan Pengelolaan Barang Milik Negara (LPPBMN) Kementerian Perhubungan baik secara parsial maupun simlutan

Abstract

Purpose: This study uses the CAMEL method to evaluate the health level of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022, which includes aspects of capital adequacy, asset quality, management, earnings, and liquidity. Research Design and Methodology: This study uses secondary data from the annual financial statements of four state-owned banks selected through purposive sampling. The CAMEL method was applied to analyze these banks' financial soundness. Findings and Discussion: The results show that state-owned banks generally maintained a healthy financial condition during the study period. However, some financial ratios, such as NPM and ROA, fluctuated. This indicates the need to improve operational efficiency and cost management. Implications: This study guides bank management in improving operational efficiency and risk management to maintain financial stability. Regulators can also use these findings to evaluate and enhance banking policies.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effectiveness of Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies in enhancing organizational performance and employee engagement, addressing gaps in HRM customization for specific organizational needs. Research Design and Methodology: Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research involves semi-structured interviews and document analysis to collect data from a purposive sample of HR professionals, managers, and employees. This exploratory and interpretive study aims to deeply understand the impacts of tailored HRM practices. Findings and Discussion: Key findings reveal the importance of high-performance work practices and strategic HR alignment in boosting organizational performance. The study also highlights the critical roles of organizational culture and leadership styles in enhancing employee engagement and effective HRM strategy implementation. Internal communication quality within organizations significantly affects HRM outcomes. Implications: The study suggests aligning HRM strategies with business goals and enhancing workplace environments to foster employee engagement. These findings contribute to HRM theoretical frameworks and offer practical insights for HR professionals in designing effective, context-specific strategies. Future research should explore these relationships in diverse organizational contexts to optimize HRM practices further.

Purpose: This study investigates the evolution of employment law and its consequential impact on contemporary workplace dynamics. The research aims to elucidate the developmental trajectory of employment law and how these legal frameworks influence organizational behavior and labor market outcomes. Research Design and Methodology: A comprehensive review of pertinent literature was conducted, employing a qualitative, descriptive research methodology. This approach involved systematic examination and synthesis of existing studies, providing a nuanced understanding of the historical antecedents and contemporary phenomena influencing employment law. Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that employment law has significantly evolved from its nascent stages during the Industrial Revolution to the complex legal frameworks of today. Key developments include establishing minimum wage laws, anti-discrimination statutes, and regulations addressing non-standard employment forms. The study highlights the impact of these legal changes on organizational practices, employee well-being, and broader economic dynamics. Technological advancements and globalization are critical drivers of recent legal adaptations, raising new challenges and opportunities within the gig economy and digital workspaces. Implications: The evolution of employment law underscores the importance of robust legal protections for promoting fair and equitable workplaces. Abstract

This qualitative research explores labor mobility and wage dynamics within contemporary labor economics. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing labor market outcomes and inform evidence-based policymaking. The research methodology involves a systematic review of literature, employing established guidelines for transparency and rigor. Data collection entails identifying and retrieving scholarly articles, books, and reports from electronic databases, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance and quality. Thematic analysis is employed to synthesize key findings, identify recurring themes, and develop a conceptual framework elucidating the relationships between labor mobility, wage dynamics, and related factors. The interpretation phase involves synthesizing and interpreting the analyzed data to develop coherent narratives and insights. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of labor mobility and wage dynamics, highlighting the impact of economic, social, and institutional factors on individuals' access to economic opportunities and wage outcomes. Persistent barriers to mobility, including gender disparities and immigration policies, continue to limit access to economic opportunities for certain demographic groups. Additionally, technological advancements and institutional interventions play crucial roles in shaping wage dynamics and mitigating wage disparities. Interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based policymaking are essential for promoting inclusive and sustainable labor markets. Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how digital marketing impacts local businesses, focusing on its role in enhancing customer engagement, sales performance, and brand building. It aims to address the challenges local businesses face in adopting digital marketing tools and strategies to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage in a digital-first environment. Research Design and Methodology: A qualitative literature review method was used, incorporating systematic thematic analysis and meta-synthesis of existing academic studies. Relevant sources were selected from databases like Google Scholar, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. The analysis emphasizes key digital marketing elements such as social media marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), particularly their effects on local businesses. Findings and Discussion: Digital marketing significantly boosts customer engagement by enhancing interaction and satisfaction through social media and email platforms. It increases sales and revenue via targeted advertising and improved online visibility through SEO. Additionally, digital marketing strengthens brand identities by enabling consistent and engaging content delivery. Challenges include continuous adaptation to digital trends and managing complex tools, highlighting the necessity for strategic planning and ongoing learning. Implications: This study emphasizes the need for local businesses to integrate digital marketing and invest in continuous skill development strategically. It provides practical insights for leveraging digital marketing to foster growth and resilience, contributing to academic and practical fields.

Abstract

The aim of this qualitative literature review is to investigate the integration of physical, mental, and emotional well-being into HR practices. The research design involves a systematic approach to selecting, analyzing, and synthesizing literature on the topic. Comprehensive searches of academic databases, journals, books, and other scholarly sources were conducted to identify key themes, concepts, and theories relevant to the research question. Data collection involved gathering and critically appraising various sources, including empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and qualitative analyses. Qualitative data analysis techniques such as thematic analysis and content analysis were employed to identify recurring themes, patterns, and trends across the literature. The findings reveal several key insights into the benefits, challenges, and strategies associated with integrating well-being into HR practices. Prioritizing employee well-being offers benefits such as reduced absenteeism, enhanced productivity, and improved job satisfaction. However, challenges such as lack of organizational commitment, cultural stigma, and resistance to change hinder effective implementation. Overall, the study underscores the importance of adopting a holistic approach to well-being management and fostering collaboration both within and outside the organization.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate effective strategies for enhancing employee retention and fostering a nurturing work environment in organizations. Employing a comprehensive literature review approach, this research synthesizes key findings regarding financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices in promoting employee retention. Methodologically, the study utilizes a qualitative analysis of existing literature to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the retention strategies employed by organizations. The findings suggest that competitive salaries, performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits packages, and career advancement pathways are instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent. Additionally, fostering a supportive work environment characterized by open communication, transparent leadership, inclusivity, and empowerment significantly contributes to employee satisfaction and retention. Effective leadership practices, such as transformational leadership and visionary communication, play a critical role in inspiring employee engagement and commitment. Implications of the study underscore the importance of organizations adopting a multifaceted approach to retention, integrating financial incentives, career development opportunities, supportive work environments, and effective leadership practices. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, product features and celebrity endorsement on purchasing decisions for Vivo cellphones at PT. Win Access Telecommunication Medan. This research method is a quantitative research method with a total sample of 90 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling where only customers who buy Vivo X series mobile phones can be sampled. The model used with Multiple Regression and processed through SPSS Ver, 20.5. The results of the study found that brand image, product features and celebrity endorse had a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions for Vivo mobile phones at PT. Win Access Telecommunication Medan. The adjusted R Square value is 0.729, which means that 72.9% of purchasing decisions can be obtained and explained by brand image, product features and celebrity endorsements. While the remaining 100% - 72.9% = 27.1% is explained by other factors or variables outside the model, such as brand trust, price and product attributes.
