<![CDATA[This paper discusses the WEB-based container loading and unloading operational management system at PT. Prima Indonesia Logistics Belawan. Several obstacles in the operational management information system for loading and unloading containers include electricity disturbances which prevent containers from entering the depot area and drivers who do not pay attention to the job orders being carried. The aim of this research is to understand how the operational management information system for loading and unloading containers works. This research uses field research methods, which involve direct observation and discussion with the company, as well as library research using books in the Medan Indonesian Maritime Adiguna Polytechnic library and other relevant reading sources. <![CDATA[This paper explains about the Use of Simkapel Application in the Management of Safe Manning Certificate of Tb. Samudera Tirta by Pt. Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai. PT. Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai is a company that provides service for both ships and ship crews, from the ship itself to the ship's departure. Procedure for Issuing Shipping Certificate (Safe Manning) at the Office of Shipping Authority Class In Dumai PT.Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai begins with preparing documents (Application Letter) and its relationship with related agencies, both with government companies carried out by the National Shipping Company. PT.Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai is one form to maintain the smoothness of the shipping certificate issuance procedure. PT.Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai takes care of various important documents needed by the ship to carry out each of its operations and also communicates directly with government officials who are in charge of the ship. In addition, PT.Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai also serves requests to meet the needs of the ship and the ship's airspace. In writing this paper, the author uses the field research method and the library research method which are related to the main data taken.]]>

<![CDATA[Classification is widely used to determine decisions according to new knowledge gained from processing past data using algorithms. The number of attributes can affect the performance of an algorithm. Several data mining methods that are widely used for classification include the K-Nearest Neighbor and naïve Bayes algorithm. The best algorithm for one data type is not necessarily good for another data type. It is even possible that a good algorithm will be horrendous for other data types. To overcome this issue, this study will analyze the accuracy of the K-Nearest Neighbor and Naïve Bayes algorithms for the classification of breast cancer. So that patients with existing parameters can be predicted which are malignant and benign breast cancer. This pattern can be used as a diagnostic measure so that the cancer can be detected earlier and is expected to reduce the mortality rate from breast cancer.]]>

<![CDATA[ Communication technology has become an integral part of education, especially as a learning media that supports the effective and efficient delivery of materials. This study aims to identify and analyze various types of communication technology used as learning media in formal educational settings. The research method employed is a literature review with a descriptive approach, examining reliable sources related to the development of communication technology and its application in learning. The results indicate that commonly used communication technologies as learning media include video conferencing software (such as Zoom and Google Meet), online learning platforms (such as Moodle and Edmodo), social media (such as WhatsApp and Telegram), and interactive multimedia technology. Each type of technology has its own advantages and disadvantages in supporting the learning process, depending on the context and needs of students and teachers. In conclusion, selecting appropriate communication technology can enhance learning effectiveness and facilitate interaction between teachers and students, making the learning process more engaging and meaningful.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine how much the effect of capital structure and profitability on earnings quality at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk for the 2019-2023 period using secondary data accessed through www.unilever.co.id with a sampling method using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that Capital Structure partially had no effect on Earnings Quality. This result is obtained from the t test results on the Capital Structure variable showing a significance level of 0.066 and a t value of 1.967 < t table 2.10982. Meanwhile, Profitability partially affects Earnings Quality. This result is obtained from the t test results on the Profitability variable showing a significant level of 0.009 and a calculated t value of 2.967 < t table 2.10982. The effect of Capital Structure and Profitability simultaneously / together on Earnings Quality at PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk 2019-2023 where based on the F test, the calculated f value is 8.979 with a significance value of 0.002. While f table 3.55. Then f count is greater than f table.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Implementasi Nilai-nilai Wahdatul Ulum dalam Kehidupan Sosial Keagamaan Masyarakat Muslim”. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pemahaman, penerapan, serta tantangan dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilainya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, dengan analisis terhadap literatur ilmiah, jurnal, dan sumber-sumber klasik serta kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konsep Wahdatul ‘Ulum memiliki relevansi tinggi untuk menjawab tantangan dikotomi ilmu, melalui penerapan di bidang pendidikan, dakwah, dan praktik sosial kemasyarakatan. Namun demikian, penerapannya masih terbatas karena tantangan internal seperti pemahaman sempit terhadap ilmu agama dan eksternal seperti sekularisasi pendidikan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan integrasi ilmu melalui reformasi kurikulum, peran aktif ulama dan ilmuwan, serta gerakan literasi Islam yang kontekstual dengan nilai Wahdatul ‘Ulum dalam kehidupan sosial-keagamaan masyarakat Muslim.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to provide an in-depth explanation of the extension procedure for the Equipment Safety Certificate of the Tug Boat TB. Mitra Jaya XVI. This process is conducted at the Class I Port Authority and Harbormaster's Office (KSOP) Dumai and managed by PT. Berlian Ocean Shipping Dumai as the shipping agent. The equipment safety certificate is a vital document ensuring the seaworthiness of the vessel's equipment and compliance with maritime regulations. The research methodology utilized is a combination of Field Research—involving direct observation at the site—and Library Research—for gathering relevant regulatory and theoretical data. The findings indicate that the process for managing the certificate extension has generally complied with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Nevertheless, applicants still face significant obstacles during the application process. These constraints include delays in document inspection by related parties and technical issues within the online SIMKAPEL system (Information Management System for Harbormaster and Ship Services), which frequently experiences disruption. These system outages repeatedly lead to the postponement of certificate issuance. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that while formal procedures are followed, there is a necessity for optimizing the ship agency services and internal supervision. It is crucial to implement improvements to the technical system of SIMKAPEL and enhance internal coordination between surveyors and administrative staff at the KSOP to reduce waiting times, ensuring that certificates are issued promptly for the smooth operation of the vessel.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the crucial role of the shipping agency—specifically PT. Maritime Network Indonesia Dumai Branch—in preparing the vessel departure and arrival schedule (line-up). Line-up preparation is a strategic process that involves vessel plotting at Pelindo Dumai Port and is vital for supporting the smooth running of port operations and loading/unloading activities. The research methodology includes field research (field research) to observe direct practices at the port and literature review (library research) to reinforce the theoretical and regulatory foundations. The findings confirm that the shipping agency plays an important role in ensuring the efficiency of the port schedule. Nevertheless, in practice, the line-up preparation process faces several significant challenges. These obstacles include the limited authority of local agents in independently determining vessel plotting, restricted coordination meeting schedules, and the continued use of manual and inefficient communication methods. This lack of integrated communication often leads to inaccuracies in the initial line-up preparation, forcing agents to recalculate the previously arranged vessel positions. The conclusion of this study suggests the need for developing an integrated system that facilitates real-time communication and reporting to all relevant agencies. Adopting a digital system will enhance process efficiency, ensure proper documentation, and minimize errors, thereby accelerating the vessel plotting coordination process in the field.]]>

<![CDATA[Workshop on processing student grades data using Microsoft Excel is a training activity that aims to introduce the use of Microsoft Excel in managing and analyzing student grades data effectively. This workshop is aimed at teachers at SD Negeri Jumeneng with the aim of increasing their understanding of using Excel as a tool for processing data. In this workshop, the participants will be given an explanation regarding the use of Excel in processing student grade data. The material includes an introduction to relevant basic Excel formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, IF, and others. In addition, participants will also be given guidance on graphing student grade data using Excel. This workshop was carried out through a practical approach by providing training to participants to apply Excel formulas and functions in processing student value data. It is hoped that this workshop will provide significant benefits for teachers at SD Negeri Jumeneng in managing and analyzing student grade data more efficiently using Microsoft Excel.]]>
