Abstract

Creative economy entrepreneurs and the community around this tourist destination should be a concern for many parties, their readiness in dealing with changes that occur mus be balanced with the knowledge and strategies they must have in order to make it potential to be able to improve their standard of living and independence in entrepreneurship. The increase in creative economy business actors, they can provide employment opportunities for themselves and their surroundings so that the development of the tourism sector can go hand in hand with the development of the creative economy of the surrounding community. Assistance in developing business strategies is currently an important requirement for the Muara Jambi village community to be able to compete with other private and large entrepreneurs, so that they also have benefit from the development of these tourist destinations. The achievement target of  this activity is a change in mindset so that their business is more business-oriented with accsess to online-based sales. The Result from this activity are small business traders and local residents who are very enthusiastic and understanding of the material that has been provided is expected to be realized soon to increase family income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan investasi selama covid-19 di Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu return saham, harga emas, tingkat suku bunga dan IHSG secara simultan dan secara parsial serta menguji perbedaan kinerja saham sebelum dan disaat pandemi covid-19 dengan membandingkan comulative abnormal return (CAR) sebelum dan disaat pandemi covid-19. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahan subsektor makanan dan minumam. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara simultan variabel return saham, harga emas, tingkat suku bunga dan IHSG memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi, secara parsial return dan IHSG memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi, Harga emas dan tingkat suku bunga memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi. Berdasarkan uji paired samples Test terdapat perbedaan comulative abnormal return sebelum dan disaat pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

One of the UMKM in Jambi Province is Fried Onions UMKM. The number of UMKM producers on fried onions but among them does not have a broad means of promotion, namely through social media. Due to the fast growing business of fried onions, fried onions are also selling to sell their products from one place to another, even within a considerable distance. This Juna fried onion UMKM has considerable potential for them to still carry out conventional promotions by word of mouth, even though promotion is an important aspect of marketing to inform products to consumers.Keywords: Training, Promotion, UMKM

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of MSMEs in tourist areas in Jambi Province by integrating innovation models and recovery strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in several main tourist areas in Jambi Province. The population in this study were all MSME entrepreneurs in the selected tourist area, with a sample of 151 entrepreneurs. The data is sourced from interviews (questionnaire-based) with MSME entrepreneurs and in-depth interviews with MSME entrepreneurs, the Jambi Provincial Tourism Office, and the Jambi Province Industry and Trade Office. The data were analyzed with the SEM-PLS analysis tool. The analysis found that competitive strategy and innovation positively affected the productivity of MSMEs. Likewise, productivity has a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs. Furthermore, there are three main strategies to recover the MSME business: digitizing business, controlling and assessing supply chains, and utilizing business assistance from the government.

Abstract

This study aimed to provide an understanding of knowledge management, budget planning models, lecture performance and innovation at universities in Jambi Province. This study adopted an inferential research design. This study was a cross-sectional survey study. The data were collected from 485 lecturers at 3 universities in Jambi province. This study used a structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that 1) budget planning models (BPM) affect performance lecturer and innovation, 2) knowledge management affects lecturer performance and innovation, 3) innovation affects lecturer performance, 4) budget planning models affect lecturer performance moderated by innovation, and 5) knowledge management affects the performance of lecturers mediated by innovation. In organizations that place greater emphasis on budgetary objectives by using budget planning models with greater flexibility, it is important to create an enabling atmosphere for leaders of both universities and faculties to maximize the effectiveness of evaluation and monitoring.

Abstract

Animal Husbandry is a sub-sector that is a very important role in maintaining food security, because food from animal origin is a source of animal protein, as a basic need in meeting community nutrition. Broiler eggs are one of the commodities that have been favored by many people, but the selling price of eggs is currently increasing. The increase in egg prices is due to the smaller amount of egg supply and production in Jambi City. In general, the final goal of this study was to formulate a development strategy model and cost efficiency of broiler breeder business in Jambi City. Specifically, the objective is to formulate a market development strategy and cost efficiency of broiler breeders in Jambi City.

Abstract

Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) gives the latest innovation to the development of its business. Enterprises in order to maintain their survival in order to survive in a competitive climate should have a strategy to attract consumers to switch to their products. One strategy to choose from is product development strategy. So the purpose of this research is to know the internal and external conditions of MSMEs Nugget Oyster Defia in determining product development strategy and analyze and recommend product development strategy based on SWOT analysis to MSME Nugget Oyster Defia. This research was conducted at MSME Nugget Oyster Defia fungus located in Jambi City. Data collection using secondary and primary data.The method of data collection by using observation and direct interview which result will be processed using IFE, EFE and SWOT matrix. Based on the results of the analysis obtained IFE matrix which shows a score of 2.802 score that identified wide space and business improvement and EFE matrix with a score of 2.6255 shows nugget business can be said to be successful and able to attract profits. In the IFE and EFE matrix, the SWOT analysis is to increase the number of outputs and business performance inputs, expand marketing area and increase promotion, increase the number of experts and cooperation, use good technology and planning system, improve nugget business quality and cooperate with other agencies to development

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Value added Intellectual capital (VAIC) consist of Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Structural Capital Efficiency (SCE), Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE) on company performance and company value before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample of this research is companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the Mining Industry period 2017-2021. The results of this study before covid HCE, SCE and Size had a negative and significant effect on company performance, CEE and VAIC had a significant positive effect on company performance. VAIC has a positive and significant effect on company value. Meanwhile, when the Covid-19 pandemic CEE had a positive and significant impact on company performance, VAIC had a positive and significant impact on company value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate strategies strengthen competitiveness after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a mix method with two approaches, namely a qualitative approach interviews as information to make a SWOT analysis and quantitative by providing questionnaires to MSME actors around tourist areas in Jambi City, 120 respondents were obtained, a quantitative approach using SEM-PLS as a data analysis tool and forming a model for developing a strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs after the pandemic. The results of this study obtain several recommended strategies for strengthening competitiveness, namely increasing innovation, improving product quality to gain competitive advantage, improving supply chains, having strength in the distribution section from raw materials to consumers, providing training to improve employee capabilities, taking advantage of opportunities by become a business actor who is adaptive to all conditions. Based on the results of quantitative analysis, a model is formed that contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs after the COVID-19 pandemic, namely product quality, capital, supply chains, market diversification and skills that have a very strong relationship to strengthening MSMEs' power.

Abstract

This research aims to form a model strategy for community life satisfaction by developing sustainable tourism in cultural heritage sites. This research used mixed method: qualitative method by in-depth interviews with four respondents from local communities, MSMEs, Kawasan Cagar Budaya Nasional (KCBN) Muaro Jambi, government involved in heritage site tourism activities and analyzed using QDA Miner. The quantitative method was by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling to 200 respondents, and data were processed using SmartPLS to build a holistic model of community life satisfaction in heritage sites. The results of this research are: firstly, social culture and urban landscapes contribute to community satisfaction; secondly, social culture and urban landscape have a significant positive influence on sustainable tourism; thirdly, through sustainable tourism, community life satisfaction will be formed. This research has relevant implications for providing a deeper understanding of the impact of sustainable tourism in improving community life satisfaction in heritage sites by integrating natural values and urban landscape and empowering the local community.
