Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian progam kemitraan antara PT Gombek Boer Indonesia dengan peternak kambing di Desa Resapombo. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Doko, Kabupaten Blitar berdasarkan metode purposive. Pengambilan sampel peternak untuk evaluasi kemitraan PT Gombek Boer menggunakan metode total sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product). Hasil penelitian evaluasi context kemitraan PT Gombek Boer Indonesia mendapat nilai baik kecuali pada perencanaan progam pelatihan dan pembinaan peternak. Evaluasi input yang mendapatkan nilai buruk yaitu adanya komunikasi terbuka antara peternak dengan perusahaan mitra. Evaluasi process kesesuaian pelaksanaan kemitraan dan pengawasan lapang oleh PPL mendapat nilai buruk. Evaluasi product mendapat nilai baik kecuali ketepatan pembelian hasil ternak.Kata Kunci: Kemitraan, Evaluasi CIPP, Kambing Boer ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of achievement of the partnership program between PT Gombek Boer Indonesia and goat farmers in Resapombo Village. The research was conducted in Doko District, Blitar, based on the purposive sampling method. Farmer sample collection for the evaluation of the PT Gombek Boer partnership using the total sampling method. The data analysis method uses the CIPP evaluation method (context, input, process, product). The results of the evaluation study on the partnership context of PT Gombek Boer Indonesia received good grades except on the planning of training programs and fostering farmers. Evaluation of inputs that get a bad score is open communication between farmers and partner companies. The evaluation suitability of the partnerships implementation and field supervision by PPL received a bad score. Product evaluation gets good grades except the accuracy of purchasing livestock products.Key Words : Partnership Program, CIPP Evaluation, Boer Goat.

Abstract

Participation is an important component in the process of empowering a community, especially farmers. In this process, the community is supported to improve prosperity independently. The role of institutions as facilitators who accompany the empowerment process. In principle, the community is the perpetrator and the subject of development. it requires Information related factors that influence the participation of breeders in the Empowerment program so that the preparation of empowerment strategy can be more directional and the result will be more optimal. This research aims to determine the factors affecting the participation of farmers in the grazing Empowerment program as a reference to create a more interesting empowerment program. The research was conducted in the Pinrang district of Suppa and Mattirobulu sub-districts with samples of 147 breeders. The collection of research data is done using questionnaires and then carried out data using the SmartPLS statistics tool. The result of this research is known that the factors affecting the participation of farmers are the motivation and stakeholder role.

Abstract

The Azhar Farm rabbit fillet business is currently facing various obstacles to maintain sustainability and expand the product marketing area, the Azhar Farm company is demanded to be able to improve performance by improving its previous business model.This research was conducted to find a general description of the business, the business model of canvas that has been used, and create improvement recommendations for business models of the rabbit fillet business at Azhar Farm. This type of research is descriptive. The Business Model Canvas uses a qualitative approach, while the SWOT uses a quantitative approach with data collection conducted for two and a half months from January to March 2020.This research is focused on the level of renewal of information obtained from the real situation. It provides recommendations for business models improvement with the Business Model Canvas tool by looking at Azhar Farm through the nine elements of BMC. The SWOT analysis results show that the value of the axis (X) of 0.68 and the value of the axis (Y) of 0.97 reflect a positive state and are in quadrant I with the strategy that must be implemented is aggressive.In the rabbit fillet,Azhar Farm also needs to make improvements to the nine elements of BMC to be able to compete and expand the market and maintain stability in the business.

Abstract

There are a lot of research results related to cattle productivity improvements have been conducted by many researchers, scientist and academicians. However, these results are not well disseminated to the society due to lack of appropriate dissemination method. Therefore, this research tended to develop communication strategy of Rambon cattle conservation which was suitable with farmer’s need. Seventy five farmers in Glagah sub-district were selected purposively as respondents. Observation as well as interview using questionnaire were done to obtain the primary data. These data then were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that respondents were dominated by men with 53.55±13.12 years of age. Most of them were less educated and worked as farmers or farm labours. They earned varied average income from IDR 100,000 to IDR 3,000,000 depending on the type of occupation. The number of family labour per household was 2.44±0.96 people. In relation to the design of communication strategy which was suitable with farmer’s needs, the results found that farmers tended to get extension about Rambon cattle farming practices. Evening was the most appropriate time to conduct the extension and took place in the local administrative office. The preferable extension agent should be male who had expertise in Rambon cattle faming practice, nice, friendly, capable and had ability to speak in Bahasa as well as local language. The preferable extension message should contain guideline how to keep Rambon cattle and should be delivered shortly, fun and had a lot of humours. The respondents were more likely to select face to face media as personal media supported by local television as mass media.   Keywords: extension, Rambon cattle

Abstract

The objective of this study was to compare agriculture extension in different countries during the pandemic COVID-19 era. The study was conducted by comparing agricultural extensions in Africa, the United States, India, and Indonesia. Data were obtained from journals, scientific articles, and scientific reports. The source of data was collected and selected by the characteristic of inclusion. According to the characteristic of inclusion 7 sources of data were obtained and analyzed using systematic review and meta-synthesis method. Extraction source of data shows that agriculture extension in various countries experiencing different challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic era, such as mobility restriction, differences of agriculture system, lack of facilities, false information spreading and lack of extension worker and farmers’ ability to access the internet. Due to mobility restrictions, many countries choose ICT (information and communication technology) as a new method and media for advisory service during the pandemic. The majority of the country used simple apps for farmers like Whatsapp, virtual meetings via zoom, website, and YouTube. Most countries switched to cyber extensions to prevent the virus from spreading. India and Africa increase their extension facilities and provide Q&A (question and answer) platform that is easy to use by farmers. Developing countries like Africa, India, and Indonesia provide training for extension agents to improve their ability to access the internet and gadgets, thus, they can improve their ability and provide knowledge to the farmers durin pandemic.

Abstract

The research was conducted from January to June 2018 at the animal market of Beringkit, Badung Regency, Bali. The objectives of the research were to study technical feasibility of Balinese Cattle breeding in Badung Regency, Bali, and the impact of Balinese cattle marketing toward the income of the breeders. The research is explorative research through a survey, which is designed as an explanatory research design. The method of research used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research was conducted toward the breeders of Balinese cattle on some markets in Badung Regency with 50 respondents of the research who were selected as purposive sampling. Criteria of the respondents include breeders who raise the brood cow. Instruments or tools of the research used the closed and structured questionnaires, which are equipped with open questions. Results of the research showed that technical feasibility of Balinese cattle breeding in Badung Regency, Bali, is considered to be appropriate because the stocks, cattle barn, feeds, and workforce that are utilized for public animal husbandry operation are always managed by the breeders, and the breeders are highly responsible for their cattle. The impact of Balinese Cattle marketing toward the income of the breeders is significant and the tendency of the breeders to sell their cattle when in urgent conditions cause low income for them.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Bakso Bakar Pak Man from 7th March to 5th April 2016 through a survey method guided by a structured questionnaire. The respondents were selected using accidental sampling technique. The multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that the characteristics of consumer were dominated by female students aged from 17-22 years old, lived in Malang and had monthly income > IDR. 2,000,000. Mostly, they got information about Bakso Bakar Pak Man from their families and friends. The brand image variables (corporate image, user image and product image) simultaneously influenced the consumers’ loyality of “bakso bakar Pak Man”. It can be concluded that brand image variable which consisted of corporate image, user image and product image had a  positive influence to the consumers’ loyality of Bakso Bakar Pak Man. The most influential variable to “bakso bakar Pak Man”consumer’s loyality was corporate image. It is recommended to “bakso bakar Pak Man” to maintain their service quality and product variant for increasing the consumer’s interest and be acquainted with other media. The employee performance, product quality and facilities have to be improved in order to maintain the positive brand image of Bakso Bakar Pak Man. Keywords: corporate image, user image, product image, consumer loyality

Abstract

Research was conducted at Nusa Pelangi Dairy Agrotour- ism, Gubugklakah Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency, starting from September 20th to October 31st, 2017. The purpose of this research were to identify profile, tourist characteristics, and tourist perception of Nusa Pelangi Dairy Agrotourism. Respondents were tourists who visited Nusa Pelangi Dairy Agrotourism with the age was more than 12 years old. The research used survey methode and analyzed by statistic descriptive and explorative descriptive. Data analysis showed that perception index of convenience and impression variable was 75,92 (high), perception index of sociability vari- able was 80,90 (high), perception index of use of facilities vari- able was 76,00 (high), perception index of access and linkage variable was 78,53 (high). It can be concluded that Nusa Pelan- gi Dairy Agroturism was a tourist attraction that located in Gubugklakah Tourist Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency with temperature was 20 to 22oC, so it was suitable for dairy agrotourism development. The tourist caracteristics at Nusa Pelangi Dairy Agrotourism age ranging from 12th-21st years old, generally as student, and lived in Malang Regency. Overall tourist had good perception towards Nusa Pelangi Dairy Agroturism.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Comic is mass media that convey[ALA1]  its contents through pictures and writings. The purpose of this research is to find out Universitas Brawijaya students’ knowledge change regarding Bali cattle after receiving comic intervention as a media exposure. The research design used is a true experimental design. Research conducted to 100 students using a questionnaire before and after intervention. The statistic test used in this research is the Wilcoxon test. Result shows there is an average value improvement in post-test compared with pre-test in comic group (P < 0.05). Also, it is found higher knowledge average values in a comic group compared with the website group (P < 0.05). Therefore, comic can be considered as an effective media in delivering knowledge about Bali cattle. [ALA1]Please check the grammar as a whole.

Abstract

Mitra Jaya Company is a company located in Malang City and is engaged in animal husbandry by producing egg incubators. The descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis methods were used in this study. Based on these result, the recruitmen, selection, training, reward and punishment, as well as development simultaneously have huge impact on Mitra Jaya Company employee performance. The t-test results show a t-Cal 2,936  as well as a significance value 0,007 between the recruitment variable and the employee performance variable. Based on these results, the recruitmen have huge impact on Mitra Jaya Company employee performance. The t-test between the selection variable and the employee performance variable yielded a t-Cal 2,228  and a significance value 0.036 . Same as recruitment, the selection variables have huge impact on Mitra Jaya Company employee performance. The training variable's t-test generated t-Cal -0,149, with a significant value 0,883, indicating that the training variable has no impact on employee performance. Then t-test results on the reward and punishment variable including development obtained a t-Cal 1.699, with such a significant value 0,102 and a t-Cal 0.531 with significant value 0,601. Based on these results, the reward, punishment and development variables have no huge impact on Mitra Jaya Company employee performance.
