Abstract

ABSTRAK : Diabetes Melitus (DM) tipe 2 tergolongdalam penyakit kronis yang akan diderita seumur hidup, perlu kerja sama antara dokter, perawat, ahli gizi, farmasis/apoteker, psikolog dengan pasien dan keluarganya dalam upaya pengelolaan penyakit tersebut. Peran praktisi kesehatan dalam pengelolaan penyakit DM tipe 2 adalah memberikan terapi yang sesuai dengan kondisi masing-masing pasien menurut pedoman tatalaksana pengelolaan penyakit. Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan tahun 2014 nomor 30, 35, dan 58 tentang standar pelayanan kefarmasian di puskesmas, apotek, dan rumah sakit menuntut apoteker untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam implementasi asuhan kefarmasian (pharmaceutical care). Peran yang harus ditingkatkan tidak hanya terbatas pada pengelolaan obat, tetapi juga pada pemberian layanan farmasi klinik, salah satunya adalah konseling. Konseling yang dilakukan apoteker pada pasien bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, kesadaran, dan kepatuhan sehingga terjadi perubahan perilaku dalam penggunaan obat dan menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi pasien.

Abstract

Determination of isoniazid concentration for therapeutic drug monitoring must produce valid values, so validation of the analytical method of LC-MS/MS needs to be carried out. This research aims to obtain valid method of LCMS/MS in order to determination isoniazid in rats serum. Sample preparation was carried out using the liquid-liquid extraction method using acetonitrile and methanol (2:1). The chromatography system was developed with a C18 column (ACQUITY UPLC® HSS T3 1.8 µm, 2.1 × 100 mm), the mobile phase was 70% acetonitrile with 0.1% formic acid (A), water with 0.1% formic acid (B), as well as methanol (C) with a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min, with gradient elution, detection in ESI+ mode with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) at the transition 138 m/z → 121 m/z. The research results showed that the method was accurate with a % recovery of 96 - 113% and an RSD of 2.4 ± 0.9%. The precision value was obtained with an average RSD of 3.7 ± 2.4% for intra-day and 4.1 ± 2.3% for inter-day. Linearity showed good results with a correlation coefficient of 0.9956 in tests with 5 different concentrations. The LOQ and LOD values obtained from the linear regression equation were 0.1987 µg/mL and 0.0656 µg/mL respectively. The results showed that the LC-M/MS method was valid for determining isoniazid levels in rat serum

Abstract

Sistem Unit Dose Dispensing (UDD) merupakan inovasi dalam distribusi obat yang terbukti mampu meningkatkan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit dengan mengurangi kesalahan pemberian obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi dan efektivitas UDD di rumah sakit Indonesia serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan solusi yang relevan. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative review dengan menganalisis data dari jurnal ilmiah dan publikasi akademik lima tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Miles dan Huberman melalui tiga tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa UDD secara signifikan menurunkan medication errors, meningkatkan efisiensi kerja tenaga kesehatan, serta memperbaiki kepatuhan terhadap protokol pengobatan. Selain itu, UDD berkontribusi dalam pengurangan pemborosan obat dan peningkatan pengelolaan stok farmasi. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan teknologi, resistensi tenaga medis, dan biaya investasi masih menjadi hambatan utama. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi UDD dengan sistem informasi manajemen farmasi, peningkatan pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta dukungan kebijakan yang adaptif terhadap konteks lokal. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan menyajikan analisis menyeluruh dari sisi teknis, manajerial, dan budaya organisasi dalam penerapan UDD di Indonesia, yang selama ini belum banyak diteliti. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien dan efisiensi pelayanan rumah sakit secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Swamedikasi adalah tindakan pengobatan yang dilakukan oleh individu untuk mengatasi gejala dan masalah kesehatan secara mandiri di apotek. Hal ini menjadi pilihan utama bagi banyak orang di seluruh dunia karena dianggap efisien, terjangkau, cepat, dan memudahkan akses terhadap obat-obatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis integrasi riwayat digital dalam swamedikasi di apotek untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan penggunaan obat tanpa resep. Swamedikasi, yang semakin populer di kalangan masyarakat karena kemudahan akses dan biaya rendah, menghadapi tantangan terkait pemahaman pasien serta keterbatasan pencatatan riwayat pengobatan. Integrasi aplikasi digital diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi pasien dalam melacak penggunaan obat, mengurangi risiko interaksi obat, serta meningkatkan kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi perkembangan pelayanan swamedikasi oleh apoteker di berbagai negara, dengan fokus pada peran teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan kesehatan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan riwayat digital dapat membantu apotek dalam memberikan pelayanan yang lebih aman dan efisien, serta mendorong pengelolaan pengobatan yang lebih baik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, terutama dalam konteks swamedikasi, serta perlunya regulasi yang mendukung integrasi sistem digital dalam praktik farmasi.

Abstract

Customer retention is a key performance indicator in the pharmaceutical service sector, especially amid rising competition and increasingly complex customer needs. This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and work programs on customer retention in pharmacies. Service quality dimensions analyzed include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible evidence. Work programs involve health education, loyalty programs, and customer relationship management. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a survey method targeting active pharmacy customers who have used the service at least three times in the past six months. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results reveal that both service quality and work programs significantly and positively influence customer retention, with empathy and responsiveness being the most dominant dimensions. These findings imply the need to improve service quality and develop proactive work programs such as health counseling and rewards for loyal customers. This study contributes theoretically to the development of retention strategies in the pharmaceutical sector and provides practical guidance for pharmacy managers.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review and analyze various scientific literature related to the relationship between the quality of pharmaceutical services and patient satisfaction in pharmacies. The methodology used in this article is a narrative literature study of a number of national and international scientific publications published in the last five to ten years. Literature sources are obtained from databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Garuda Portal. The inclusion criteria include articles that contain discussions about pharmaceutical service quality indicators, patient satisfaction aspects in community pharmacies, and studies that use quantitative and/or qualitative approaches. This article examines the dimensions of service quality based on the SERVQUAL framework (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) as well as special aspects of pharmaceutical services such as pharmacist involvement in therapeutic communication, drug use education, and time and queue management. The results of the review showed that there was a significant relationship between the quality of pharmaceutical services and the level of patient satisfaction. The dimensions of responsiveness and assurance, which include the ability of pharmacists to provide fast service and clear and convincing explanations, are the dominant factors in shaping patients' positive perceptions of service quality. The availability and completeness of the drug is also a technical factor that greatly affects satisfaction, where the unreadiness of stock often leads to disappointment. In addition, the physical aspects of the pharmacy such as the comfort of the waiting room, cleanliness, and layout are also important indicators in the patient experience. Pharmacists' interpersonal communication skills and empathetic attitude towards patients are the main determinants in building trust and loyalty relationships between patients and pharmacy services This conclusion confirms that the quality of pharmaceutical services has a significant contribution to the level of patient satisfaction in pharmacies. Therefore, improving service quality must be a strategic priority for pharmacy management, focusing on improving pharmacist competence, service process efficiency, consistent drug availability, and optimization of pharmacy facilities. The practical implications of the results of this study can be a reference for policy makers, pharmacy managers, and pharmacists in designing interventions to improve the quality of services based on patient needs and expectations. Further research is recommended to develop a more comprehensive and contextual pharmaceutical service quality measurement instrument with local conditions.
