Abstract

Technology development has greatly affected the fading of traditional games in people's lives. Especially with the existence of modern games that are increasingly sophisticated and interesting, traditional games lose prestige. The research aims to develop a traditional game preservation media in the form of online media, which was originally a threat, to be used as a preservation media with the creation of this "Ayo Dolanan" web. The research uses the ADDIE model RND development method which consists of 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The data collection techniques used in the assessment stage are validation sheets from traditional game experts, online media experts, and questionnaires for the people of Semarang City as the initial and final steps, namely analyzing the needs and responses of 156 samples, and the last is the Pre-Test and Post-Test to 30 samples. The results of the developed product have met the feasibility and qualifications as a traditional game preservation media. This can be seen from the results of content validation and product effectiveness by experts: (1) Traditional game experts get an average percentage of 94%, (2) Online media experts get an average percentage of 96%, (3) The significance value of the T-Test (2-tailed) test gets> 0.5 which is equal to 0.000, and (4) The N-Gain test gets an average difference> 0.7 which is equal to 0.7281. So it is concluded that the product "Ayo Dolanan" as a medium for preserving traditional games is "Very Feasible" to use.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of listening to music on running performance and endurance in the running community of Bandung City. The method used involves the utilization of Survey Monkey as an instrument to gather data from respondents through specifically designed online questionnaires. The questionnaire includes inquiries about the preferred time for running exercises, the type of music listened to, the duration and intensity of running, and the impact of music on the running experience. Additionally, a qualitative approach is employed as thematic analysis of respondents' responses to delve into their perceptions of the influence of music in the context of running. The results of this study reveal that the average age of respondents falls within the range of 18-45 years among 400 respondents, divided into 150 females and 250 males, with the majority being students. The majority of respondents run with a frequency of 40.00% per week. The timing of running exercises tends to be more dominant in the morning, reaching 72.50% of the total respondents. More than half of the respondents, 57.50%, use devices to listen to music while running. The majority of them, 73.98%, listen to pop music genres. Additionally, 47.37% of respondents are able to sustain a running duration of more than 30 minutes. These findings provide a better understanding of running exercise preferences and habits, as well as highlight the potential influence of music on the physical and mental activities of individuals in the running community.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of teacher competence to physical education performance in the city of Purworejo. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational descriptive method. The sample consisted of 31 teachers consisting of 21 physical education teachers and 10 school principals. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, and documentation with data analysis techniques using normality tests, linearity tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results show that the contribution of pedagogical competence to the performance of physical education teachers in Purworejo City is 68.1%, the contribution of personality competence is 40.4%, the contribution of professional competence is 57.6%, and the contribution of social competence is 15.2%. In conclusion, of the four teacher competencies, the highest contribution is pedagogical competence to the performance of junior high school physical education teachers in Purworejo City at 68.1% and the lowest is social competence to the performance of junior high school physical education teachers in Purworejo City at 15.2%. Abstract

Rejecting from the negative assumption of the Islam conservatif toward slametan. It necessary to bring back positive value that contain in slametan tradition. Yasinan is identified with the slametan in Kedurang, South Bengkulu that contain social-religious value as society unifier. Yasinan tradition is expected become an alternative social interaction to create peaceful society and full of harmony. Yasinan are also a moment for sharing and became unique Islam tradition until now. The purpose of this research is reveal social religion value that contain in yasinan. This study use a qualitative method with a phenomenology approach. There are two findings: firstly, as religious tradition which teach peace between members of the community and also as a means of giving alms. Secondly, as Islamic spirit booster for community when they yasinan is contain activities read the verses of Qur’an, tahlil and istighosah.

Abstract

Character education and evaluation of multicultural learning in elementary schools (SD) adjusted with the level of thinking of children in elementary school. Where is still in the beginning abstract stages. Character education is a system of character cultivation to the school community which includes knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions to carry out these values, both from God Almighty (Almighty), ourselves, other people, the environment, and the nation so that humans become perfect humans. In fact, multicultural education is indeed an integral part at all levels education. Therefore, the cultivation of multicultural values should ideally be applied in all subjects in formal education.

Abstract

Learning strategy is planning about a series of activities designed in an effort to achieve certain educational goals. In this case, learning strategies become activities that must be carried out by teachers and students. The reason is, the learning strategy is also interpreted as a set of learning materials and procedures to generate learning outcomes in students. In its implementation, learning strategies consist of various kinds of learning techniques and methods, for example reading, remembering, repeating, and applying information. According to the 1970 Commission Instruction Technology (CIT) definition, learning technology is defined as a medium that was born as a result of the communication revolution that can be used for learning purposes in addition to teachers, textbooks, and blackboards….the parts that make up learning technology are television, film, OHP , computers and other hardware and software parts. Schramm (1977) suggests that learning media is a message carrier technology that can be utilized for learning purposes. Meanwhile, Briggs (1977) argues that learning media are physical means for conveying learning content/material such as: books, films, videos and so on. Meanwhile, the National Education Association (1969) revealed that learning media is a means of communication in print and audio-visual form, including hardware technology. From the three opinions above, it can be concluded that learning media is anything that can convey messages, can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of students so that they can encourage the creation of learning processes in students.

Abstract

Purpose of the Study: This research aims to explore the understanding of school leaders, development teams, and teachers regarding the concept of school-based local wisdom. Methodology: This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects include the school principal, development team, teachers, and students. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, with data analyzed using reduction, display, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The validity of the data was ensured using triangulation of techniques and sources. Main Findings: The research findings reveal a shared understanding among the school principal, development team, and teachers regarding integrating local wisdom into school-based education. The principal views school-based local wisdom as incorporating cultural elements into the learning environment. The development team interprets it as applying local cultural practices within the curriculum, while teachers link the learning process to local wisdom in the community. At Sendangsari Elementary School, local wisdom such as traditional foods, karawitan (Javanese music), dance, and batik are actively developed. The school employs five key strategies: forming collaborative teams, preparing supporting facilities, implementing strategic plans, partnering with external parties, and fostering community collaboration. Novelty/Originality of this Study: This research offers new insights into integrating local wisdom into curricular and extracurricular activities at the primary school level. It highlights the types of local wisdom developed and presents a model for schools to collaborate with communities and external stakeholders, contributing to the academic discourse on culturally responsive education.

Abstract

Slingshot games are games that don't use much physical activity but require fine motor skills in playing and doing activities. The slingshot game requires patience, concentration, motivation, mental endurance and high anxiety, this is done to obtain proper accuracy. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of concentration and motivation on the accuracy of the slingshot game. This research is quantitative research with a correlational descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. This research was carried out in 6 public elementary schools in Semarang Regency. The sample in this study consisted of 125 students, divided into 51 male students and 74 female students. The data analysis techniques used in this research used normality tests, linearity tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The research results show that concentration and motivation when aiming at the target greatly influence the results of shots on target. The conclusion of this research is that the results show a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, which means that concentration and motivation have a positive and significant influence on the accuracy of the slingshot game, with an R Square value of 51.2%, while 48.8% is influenced by variables other.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi sarana dan prasarana olahraga di SMP Negeri 22 Medan serta dampaknya terhadap aktivitas dan prestasi siswa. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi, penelitian ini mengkaji aspek-aspek seperti ketersediaan, kualitas, dan pengelolaan fasilitas olahraga. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sekolah memiliki lapangan luas namun belum dimanfaatkan optimal, dengan peralatan olahraga yang terbatas dan sering dalam kondisi tidak layak. Keterbatasan anggaran dan kurangnya dukungan pemerintah menjadi kendala utama. Meskipun demikian, sekolah tetap mampu meraih prestasi, menunjukkan potensi peningkatan jika fasilitas diperbaiki. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan rutin fasilitas olahraga untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi siswa dalam bidang olahraga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran olahraga sebagai media dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai Olimpiade (Olympism) dilihat dari aspek etika. Terutama pada generasi milenial saat ini yang notabene masih belum memahami mengenai nilai-nilai olimpiade dalam penerapannya dikehidupan sehari-hari yang bermanfaat khususnya pada perspektif etika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, Sumber data berupa: manusia, peristiwa dan dokumen dengan tahapan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu (1) tahap pengumpulan data; (2) reduksi data; (3) penyajian; serta (4) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang didapatkan peneliti, bahwa aspek etika bisa didapatkan melalui olahraga yaitu dengan mempromosikan nilai-nilai olimpiade yang terdiri dari Friendship (persahabatan), Excellence (keunggulan), Respect (rasa hormat). Dari nilai-nilai olimpiade tersebut ditemukan bahwa olahraga menjadi media yang sangat penting dalam menanamkan etika bagi kaum muda khususnya dalam perkembangan kehidupan yang lebih baik. Disamping itu, dengan olahraga sebagai media tentunya menjadi hal yang sangat mudah diakses dalam penanaman etika. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini bahwa pendidikan etika bisa diberikan melalui olahraga yang bernilai Olympism.
