Abstract

The purpose of our study was to investigate primary teachers’ readiness to use project-based learning (PBL) using teachers’ efficacy and teachers’ attitude toward PBL. A correlational descriptive design was set as the research design on 109 primary teachers from various schools who had participated in collaborative work projects in 2023. To collect data, teachers’ efficacy and teachers’ attitude scale were used as instrument. The results found that the level of use of PBL was influenced by teachers’ attitude toward PBL for each subscale except on the knowledge dependence and system restriction. The study also found that the level of use of PBL has a positive relationship with each subscale of teachers’ efficacy and the level of teachers’ efficacy is influenced by teachers’ attitude toward PBL for each subscale, except for the knowledge dependence. Implications of this study are expected to be considerations for professional development that focus on more concrete practical training.

Abstract

The main goal of Islamic education is to form good morals or character. The rapid development of technology has become a new chapter in efforts to develop an Islamic education system so that it can always follow the flow of developments. In the current era of globalization, it has become a necessity for Islamic educational institutions to update educational services according to the needs of the times. Ideally, Islamic educational institutions in the 21st century must follow the flow of developments and not abandon the concept of traditional Islamic education (pesantren). In this case, education cannot be separated from the role of a teacher or murobbi as the spearhead of the Islamic education system. In Islamic education, we know the term murobbi as a physical and spiritual educator. This study will discuss, 1) how to identify intrapersonal and interpersonal conflicts in the Darul Amanah Bedono Islamic boarding school? 2) how is the implementation of intrapersonal and interpersonal conflict management in the Darul Amanah Bedono Islamic boarding school? This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where this method is used to present in-depth information related to the implementation of murobbi intrapersonal and interpersonal conflict management for students. The results of this study illustrate that the murobbi system is easier to implement intrapersonal and interpersonal conflict management, including the following; Intrapersonal conflict management begins with identifying individual problems of students, including; pessimistic, unfocused, bored, loss of motivation, undisciplined, confused, needing adjustment, and lazy. While conflict management or problem solving that is applied includes; providing motivation, conducting summons, focus training, outings, and refreshments. The application of interpersonal conflict management is carried out by identifying conflicts between students such as; physically insulting each other, belittling parents' work, insulting appearance, and offending feelings. While the problem solving that is applied includes; socialization, summons, coaching, confrontation, motivation, time discipline, direction, games, discussions, mutual respect, education, respect, and providing understanding. This study opens up opportunities for researchers such as lecturers and students as well as the community who need the results of research that has been conducted on research topics that are relevant to this study. It is hoped that for the sake of progress in the field of research, further researchers can use different research methods, or explore other relevant and objective variables.

Abstract

Investors often make irrational investment decisions. Decisions are often based on judgments that are far from rational assumptions. This research aims to examine the influence of experience regret, risk tolerance, illusion of control and financial literacy on investment decisions in the crypto market. Data was collected using an online media-based questionnaire instrument via Google Form involving 112 investor respondents who actively invest in cryptocurrencies. The data was processed and analyzed using the E-Views 10 software application. The types of data in this research are primary and secondary data using quantitative research methods and multiple linear regression models. The results of this research show that experience regret, risk tolerance and illusion of control do not influence investment decisions in the crypto market. Meanwhile, financial literacy influences investment decisions in the crypto market but at a significance level of 10 percent. It is very necessary to have clear regulations in the crypto market in an effort to provide protection to investors. Remember, the definition of crypto currency has different views.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine how the role of the Social Service in fostering street children in Makassar City and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the city government in handling street children in Makassar City. This study used qualitative research. Data collection techniques were observation, interview and documentation. The research informants in this study were 10 people. The results of the study showed that the aspect of prevention was carried out by patrol activities every day routinely by the Saribattang Rapid Reaction Team (TRC), the advanced coaching aspect was the activity carried out by the Makassar City Social Service for finding out the reason for children taking to the streets by way of identification or assessment in RSPA (Child Social Protection House), and aspects of rehabilitation of street children rehabilitation was the cooperation between the Makassar City Social Office and the Narcotics Abuse Group Foundation (YKP2N). Keywords: Role of Social Service, Development of Street Children

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ character value and reveal the relationship of character values in elementary school children based on gender, grade and type of the school. The character values analyzed include religion, nationalism, integrity, independence, and cooperative values. This research was a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design by explaining and analyzing the results using Jeffrey’s amazing statistics program (JASP) software and students’ character values was categorized and described according to the aspect, gender, grade, and type of the school. Character of elementary school children (CESC) questionnaire was used as an instrument in this study. CESC have very good internal consistency (0.80 to 0.87) and have suitability construct model. The respondent of this study was 862 students obtained through the stratified random sampling randomly technique in elementary school at Yogyakarta Province. The result of this study confirmed that the students’ character value is a high level. The lowest aspect is integrity (2.40), while the highest aspect is religious (3.16). There is a relationship between the character values: religion, nationalism, integrity, independent, and cooperative values. It indicates that policymakers or teachers should improve students’ character value by training or applying a learning model that focuses explicitly on students’ character.

Abstract

The picture and picture type cooperative learning models is an appropriate learning model in developing student creativity, generating is a sense of fun during learning by arranging pictures in the correct order. This research uses quantitative approach with experimental research data analysis with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and hypothesis testing to see the influence of two variables with the t-test. The aims of this research are 1). To determine the effect of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class III-B students 2). To compare picture and picture type cooperative learning model with lecture model on the learning outcomes of class III-B students at Junior High School 5 Menteng Palangka Raya. The results of this research in the paired sample t-test show a 2-tailed sig result of 0.00 < 0.05, so There is an influence of the picture and picture model on student learning outcomes and the independent sample t-test obtained a result of 0.01 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the picture and picture cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes compared to the lecture model.

Abstract

Vendor lock-in merupakan tantangan utama dalam implementasi Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), di mana pengguna menjadi bergantung pada solusi dari satu vendor. Ketergantungan ini dapat membatasi fleksibilitas sistem, menghambat inovasi, dan meningkatkan biaya manajemen jaringan dalam jangka panjang. Masalah ini mendorong kebutuhan akan arsitektur jaringan yang lebih terbuka dan tidak bergantung pada satu merek perangkat keras. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan Universal Customer Premises Equipment (uCPE) sebagai solusi terbuka untuk mengatasi masalah vendor lock-in. Solusi ini diimplementasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak SD-WAN open-source, yaitu flexiWAN, yang dijalankan pada dua perangkat uCPE dari vendor yang berbeda: Silicom Cordoba IA3003 dan Advantech FWA-T011. Fokus utama dari studi ini adalah untuk menguji interoperabilitas, performa, dan fungsionalitas dari sistem gabungan ini sebagai fondasi untuk jaringan yang fleksibel. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa solusi uCPE dengan flexiWAN berhasil membangun koneksi yang fungsional dan stabil di antara perangkat yang berbeda, dengan performa latensi rata-rata di bawah 15 ms. Meskipun terdapat overhead yang membatasi throughput maksimum, performa transfer data antarperangkat (rata-rata 17-18 Mbps) dianggap memadai untuk kebutuhan operasional. Fitur-fitur utama SD-WAN seperti Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), Link Failover, dan firewall juga terbukti berfungsi dengan baik. Penelitian ini memvalidasi bahwa uCPE berbasis open-source merupakan alternatif yang valid dan hemat biaya untuk mendukung solusi SD-WAN yang fleksibel. Kata kunci— flexiWAN, Open-source, SD-WAN, uCPE, Vendor Lock-in.
