Abstract

Digital literacy has become an essential competency for educators in the context of rapidly evolving educational technologies and the increased prevalence of online and blended learning environments. However, the effective integration of collaborative and seamless learning approaches into digital literacy training remains a significant challenge, particularly due to disparities in technology access and varying pedagogical practices. This systematic study examines the utilization of technology in digital literacy training for instructors, emphasizing collaborative learning, seamless learning, and online learning methodologies. Out of an initial review of 95 articles from the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), 15 were chosen based on relevancy and inclusion criteria. The investigation indicates that Learning Management Systems like Moodle, Google Classroom, and Blackboard are frequently utilized for the administration of digital content, assignments, and evaluations. Moreover, collaboration platforms such as Google Docs, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams enhance group discussions and projects. The digital literacy curriculum encompasses a spectrum of skills, from fundamental to advanced, including the utilization of instructional tools, management of digital content, digital security, and proficiency in social media. Mobile gadgets in Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) models facilitate uninterrupted, adaptable learning. Notwithstanding the benefits, access to gadgets and internet connectivity continues to pose a considerable barrier. This study shows that customized digital literacy curriculum can improve educators' skills, however further support is necessary to overcome technological obstacles. Further research is recommended to explore scalable solutions that can bridge these gaps and promote equitable digital literacy training across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Purpose –  This study addresses a critical gap in character education literature by examining how Indonesian parents in diaspora settings, specifically those with children attending Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL), perceive and implement character education within the family. Given Generation Alpha’s deep immersion in technology and the shifting cultural identities of diaspora families, this research highlights the need for moral resilience fostered through family-based character development. Methods/Design/Approach – Using a qualitative approach, the study employed Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and in-depth interviews involving 30 purposively selected parents of SIKL students across grades X–XII. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, then thematically analyzed with the support of NVivo software. The analysis focused on six key dimensions of parental involvement: parenting, communication, home-based learning, contribution, decision-making, and collaboration. Findings – Parents consistently associated character education with empathy, honesty, religiosity, and emotional intelligence. Role modeling (35%), discussion and reflection (45%), and open communication emerged as dominant methods. Major challenges included children’s technology dependence (65%), limited parent–child time, and academic stress. Key support resources included family centers, faith communities, parenting groups, and social media networks. Originality/Value – This study offers novel insights into character education within transnational families, emphasizing the strategic role of parental engagement in preserving national identity and moral values in intercultural contexts. While exploratory, the study's findings serve as a theoretical and practical foundation for future research across diaspora settings. Practical Implications – Schools serving diaspora populations should institutionalize collaborative character education programs with active parental involvement. Family-centered training modules, value-based projects, and intercultural parenting forums are essential to maintain consistency in moral education. The study’s geographic and informant scope presents limitations, inviting future research to include student and teacher perspectives for a more holistic understanding. Abstract

Analysis of social media is an effective tool for understanding people's attitudes, preferences and opinions. For a company, social media analysis can help companies to make decisions about needs, attitudes, opinions or trends about potential customers or potential customers. Hootsuite's Wearesocial research results show that out of 150 million Indonesians, 88% are actively using social media. As a result, a lot of information that was once difficult to obtain is now very easy to obtain. With so much data, data collection can be made easier by using an automated data collection system. The use of Machine Learning Algorithm as a method is used to find out how far the level of search from social media data collected is to get accurate results related to changes in behavior, lifestyle, and community activities in dealing with this pandemic. Scraping data is done using Twitter social media data with various hashtags that support opinion mining contained in the community. The results obtained are the analysis of gopay users having a positive sentiment level of 79,6%, negative sentiment of 20,4% from total of 250 data. Meanwhile, Linkaja users have a positive sentiment level of 62,1%, 37,9% negative comments from 250 data comments taken. The test results also carried out a process of calculating the level of accuracy with recall and precision, namely 87% for Gopay and 89% for LinkAja.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of emotion regulation on aggressive behavior among students at SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design and involved 256 students selected through stratified random sampling. The research instruments consisted of an emotion regulation questionnaire (29 items) and an aggressive behavior questionnaire (26 items). The results showed that students’ emotion regulation levels were categorized as high (74.1%), while their aggressive behavior was categorized as moderate (56.4%). Regression analysis revealed a significance value of 0.000 with r = 0.468, indicating that emotion regulation contributed 46.8% to aggressive behavior. The better the students' ability to regulate their emotions, the lower their tendency to exhibit aggressive behavior. These findings highlight the importance of preventive Guidance and Counseling services in strengthening students’ emotion regulation to reduce the potential for aggressive behavior in the school environment
