Abstract

Risk absorption and capital addition is a business strategy for business development in order to face intense competition in the banking industry. One of the Regional Development Banks in Indonesia is the Regional Development Bank of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. Before making investment decisions, investors need information about company value by reading and analyzing financial reports. The higher the value of the company, the more favorable perceptions investors will have of the company so that in the end they have the confidence to invest. Information about company value is also important for companies to assess their performance. In general, financial performance is analyzed using financial ratios. This study uses a mixed approach which is complemented by financial statement analysis. Methods of data analysis using ARIMA least squares regression analysis and investment analysis. The results showed that it was concluded that the company is in a progressive position (Strength Opportunity) with the SWOT method. The results of the ARIMA Least Square regression analysis concluded that the ratios of NPL, NIM, LDR, CASA, CR and BOPO are strongly related to firm value. However, the variables that have the most influence on firm value are DER, CASA and CAR. The results of the investment analysis show that the rate of return on investment (ROCE) is 14.54 more than the capital provided, Payback Period is 1 year 8 months. While the results of the Net Present Value (NPV) calculation are positive, which means the project can be continued and has good prospects in the future, while the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) shows a project interest rate of 34.36% or greater than the discount rate by 14.25%.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait kemampuan PT Indofood Sukses Makmur dalam melunasi utangnya. Selaku perusahaan besar dengan berbagai macam lini bisnis, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur mempunyai beberapa utang yang wajib dilunasi kepada kreditur. Keahlian PT Indofood Sukses Makmur dalam melunasi utang, sangat berarti untuk berbagai pihak terutama dalam mengambil keputusan investasi baik pemegang saham, kreditur, maupun pihak lainnya. Dalam artikel ini, pengumpulan informasi keuangan menggunakan metode analisis laporan keuangan dengan pengukuran rasio likuiditas yang mencakup current ratio dan quick ratio serta penngukuran rasio solvabilitas yang mencakup debt to equity dan debt to total asset ratio. Informasi yang dianalisis adalah laporan keuangan tahunan PT Indofood Sukses Makmur periode 2018-2022. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya kenaikan industri dalam melunasi kewajibannya kepada kreditur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan PT. Provident Agro Tbk dan PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk selama periode 2018-2022 dengan menggunakan sejumlah rasio keuangan. Indikator utama yang digunakan mencakup rasio aktivitas, profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan solvabilitas. Sumber data yang dianalisis diperoleh dari neraca dan laporan laba rugi perusahaan yang diunduh dari situs web resmi masing-masing perusahaan. Pendekatan utama dalam mengumpulkan data ini adalah metode dokumentasi dengan analisis deskriptif menjadi landasan utama dalam perincian hasil penelitian. Hasil analisis rasio keuangan menunjukkan bahwa PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk memiliki rasio likuiditas dan profitabilitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan PT. Provident Agro Tbk. Meskipun demikian, PT. Provident Agro Tbk unggul dalam rasio aktivitas karena lebih efisien dalam mengelola aset. Namun, penurunan rasio solvabilitas hingga mencapai nilai negatif dalam jangka waktu tertentu membuat PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk lebih unggul secara keseluruhan. Disparitas kinerja keuangan kedua perusahaan ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor seperti harga minyak sawit (CPO), produksi, biaya produksi, dan efisiensi operasional.

Abstract

Motor Vehicle Tax is one of the Local Taxes whose revenue is highly relied upon in the Local Own-Source Revenue of West Java Province. The revenue from this type of tax has the potential to be optimized, especially in Karawang Regency, which is in line with the fact that there are still many remote communities in this area that still need motorized vehicle registration numbers or have expired. For this reason, counseling activities are needed for remote communities in Karawang Regency to increase awareness and compliance with paying motor vehicle tax obligations. The method of community service uses the counseling method. The results of the counseling activities provide various benefits for the government and the people of Kalidungjaya Village, the Subregional Police of Karawang, and the Regional Revenue Management Center of Karawang Regency.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is entering an era where technology is developing rapidly and has an impact on various parts of people's lives. This technological development not only has an impact on social and cultural aspects, but also on economic and business aspects. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, it encouraged people to prioritize saving or investing. Investment is expected to be a source of additional income for the community. This research aims to test and analyze the influence of Bitcoin and Exchange on Share Prices in Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sample in this research was 29 companies with purposive sampling as a sampling technique. This research uses the panel data regression method and eviews software with a monthly period starting from January 1 2020 to December 31 2022. The results of this research show that cryptocurrency (bitcoin) has a significant positive effect on the share prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the rupiah exchange rate has a significant negative effect on the share prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

For tourism destinations, infrastructure is included as natural resources and man-made resources are natural resources and man-made resources that are needed by tourists when traveling to a tourist destination. This research focuses on the readiness of social, economic, and environmental infrastructures available in tourism destinations. This research aims to analyze the readiness of supporting infrastructure in tourism destinations to achieve Sustainable Tourism Development in Bangka Island for today and the future. This research used an analysis model of IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) to measure the level of one's importance for the performance of other parties. A person's interest was measured by comparing the level of expectation with the performance that carried out using a Likert scale. This research also discussed the extent of tourists' perceptions of the interests or expectations regarding the readiness of supporting infrastructure in the destinations to achieve Sustainable Tourism Development on Bangka Island. a total sample of 240 respondents spread across two selected tourist destinations for each Regency on Bangka Island. This research provides results that the types of infrastructure in Bangka Regency and South Bangka Regency are the concentrate here, such as the economic and social infrastructures, whereas in Central Bangka Regency, the infrastructure that becomes the concentrate here including economic, social, and environmental infrastructures, especially from waste management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the implementation of good university governance at state universities in South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. The state universities were Bangka Belitung University, Sriwijaya University, Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, and Bangka Belitung Manufacturing Polytechnic. The principles of good university governance in this study include governance structure, autonomy, accountability, leadership, and transparency. The respondents of the study were structural officials. Research data were collected using a questionnaire. The analysis used Friedman different test because the groups comprised new and long-established state universities. The results of the analysis indicate that accountability and transparency in the implementation of good university governance in Bangka Belitung University are different from those in Sriwijaya University. Meanwhile, the implementation of good university governance in Sriwijaya Polytechnic is similar to that in Bangka Belitung Manufacturing Polytechnic.

Abstract

The capital market is a means for companies to obtain funds from the public through the stock market. Capital markets in the ASEAN region provide new opportunities for investors in ASEAN countries and create opportunities for foreign market stock exchanges. This research aims to examine the influence of fundamental factors and systematic risk on stock prices listed on the Asean-5 Stock Exchange. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method. The population of this research is all retail sector companies listed on the ASEAN-5 Stock Exchange with a population of 121 and a sample of 23 companies. Based on research results, return on assets has a positive effect on stock prices, earnings per share have a negative effect on stock prices, debt to equity ratio has a negative effect on stock prices, price earnings ratio has a negative effect on stock prices, and systematic risk has a negative effect on the stock prices of retail sector companies.

Abstract

Company performance is a result obtained by the company through various kinds of company operational activities within a certain period of time as a company effort to generate maximum profits.  This research aims to test and analyze the influence of carbon emission disclosure and company size on the performance of manufacturing companies on the BEI in 2021-2023.  The population in this study was 170 companies and the research sample was 40 companies taken using the purposive sampling method.  The research results show that carbon emission disclosure and company size have a negative effect on company performance.

Abstract

Traditional markets in the Bangka Belitung Province play a significant role in supporting the local economy, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the emergence of modern markets, which offer convenience, efficiency, and a wider variety of products, presents a major challenge to the sustainability of traditional markets. This study aims to assess the sustainability of traditional markets in Bangka Belitung in the face of competition from modern markets. The methods used include field observations, interviews with traders and market managers, and consumer surveys. The results indicate that the revitalization of traditional markets through infrastructure improvements and digitalization training has enhanced competitiveness. There has been a 15% increase in visitor numbers, and traders who participated in digital training saw an average income increase of 10%. Additionally, 65% of traders have adopted digital payment systems. However, some traders still face difficulties in adopting new technology. Consumer satisfaction has increased from 60% to 78% after revitalization efforts. Collaboration between the government, academics, and the community is a crucial factor in supporting the sustainability of traditional markets amid competition from modern markets.
