Abstract

This study aims to determine the law of distributing zakat in the prevention of Covid-19 based on the perspective of Islamic law. This research is a type of qualitative research that focuses on the study of texts (library research) with a normative and historical approach. The results of the study show that the law for distributing zakat is in tackling or handling the impact of Covid-19, such as the allocation of consumptive zakat on the procurement of basic needs, medicines, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) clothing for medical personnel, disinfectants needed by officers or volunteers, and others, are mubah (permissible). This law of permissibility is based on the study of the verses of the Qur'an, hadith and the opinions of scholars. However, this permit still has to prioritize the poor in meeting their basic needs in the form of zakat distribution, both in cash and in kind.

Abstract

Creating superior and religious human resources is a provision for realizing civil society. The aim of this community service is to prepare superior and religious human resources in Jonjo village through various religious programs in the village. Community service was carried out by ten STIBA Makassar students. Efforts to create a superior and religious Jonjo village community through activities of 1) dirosa; 2) teaching tahsin; 3) teaching TKA / TPA; 4) sunset and dawn rituals; 5) khutbah jum'at; 6) training for organizing the body; 7) pious children festival; 8) tabligh akbar. In general, the student KKN activities of the 3rd batch of STIBA Makassar students in Jonjo Village went well and smoothly. All work programs implemented have been welcomed and enthusiastically by the government and society. The obstacle that becomes a challenge in the process of implementing work programs is that the majority of community activities work as farmers in rice fields, making students need to manage the time for carrying out more activities at night so that the community can be more fully involved.

Abstract

PkM aims to: (1) Foster social awareness of students in preaching based on Islamic science that has been obtained while in STIBA Makassar; (2) Practicing Tri Dharma of higher education for Field Guidance Lecturers (DPL) on the pillars of community service; (3) Develop the existence of STIBA Makassar as a university based on the recruitment of scholars and organizers who benefit the community. Therefore, PKM is held in the highland area of Wakinamboro Village, is one of 9 villages located in Siompu Subdistrict, South Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. PkM is started by conducting a field survey and then continued by using SOAR analysis as a material to develop a work program, so that 2 activities for less touched areas da'wah because of its geographical location. The two activities are teaching the Qur'an and tahfiz class for teenager. The result of this activity is the ability to read and memorize the Qur'an children and adolescents in Wakinamboro Village increased. The community also felt very helped and thanked by the program held by students kkn STIBA Makassar because their children are able to read the Qur'an faster than ever.

Abstract

Quality education is one that produces graduates who possess not only proficiency in a single field of study but beyond that (multidisciplinary). The various issues concerning the religious community, nation, and social dynamics of Indonesian society demand that graduates from higher education institutions have skills in more than one area of study. This research aims to uncover the concept of multidisciplinary education by Moh. Natsir and its implementation at College for Islamic Preaching (STID) Moh. Natsir. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the literature related to the subject and employing content analysis to construct Moh. Natsir's educational concept. The findings reveal that Moh. Natsir advocates for quality and inclusive education by integrating studies of history and politics, promoting freedom and independent thinking, advocating for an understanding of Islamic democracy, combining literature and language, strengthening unity and Indonesian nationalism, and also integrating just economics and development to improve the welfare of the people. From this concept, Moh. Natsir represents a graduate of multidisciplinary education who applies this approach to all aspects of their activities, enabling them to address the challenges faced by the community and the nation in a holistic manner.

Abstract

This research aims to find the concept in Indonesian universities that integration by science and religion in their regulations. The research employs a qualitative method with a historical-philosophical approach, conducting content analysis on the thoughts of M. Natsir to generate a new concept. The research findings indicate, firstly, that the concept of integrating science and Islam in higher education from M.  Natsir's perspective involves the integration of Islamic  knowledge and general knowledge without secularizing science and Islam. This integration includes mastering foreign languages, particularly Arabic, instilling moral values through ta’dib, enhancing learning through the presentation of arguments, advising, and adopting a wise approach with efforts in higher education to orient graduates towards becoming strong and sincere preachers.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and understand criminal acts of murder committed by people with schizophrenia according to the perspective of Islamic law. This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research (non-statistical), which focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, using the library research method (literature review). The literature review contains theories that are relevant to the research problem. As well as using normative juridical and philosophical approaches. The research results found were as follows; First, based on the chronology of what happened, including, Chronology of Case Decision 135/ Pid.B/ 2016/ PN Stg, Chronology of Case Decision 94-K/ PM.II-09/ AD/ V/ 2016, Chronology of Case Decision 36/Pid. B/2019/PN Nla, Chronology of Case Decision 442/Pid.B/2018/PN Blb. The defendants were declared to have a personality disorder in the schizophrenia category as proven by experts brought in during the trial process. When committing murder, all of the defendants experienced symptoms such as mental disorders, delusional hallucinations, abnormal effects, and motor personality disorders, which are factors in schizophrenics who commit murder. Second, for the context or problems related to criminals suffering from schizophrenia, Islamic law agrees that this legal subject cannot be subject to sanctions or punishment even though the action is recognized as truly being a criminal act.

Abstract

Quality Islamic education is education that produces graduates who have skills not only in one discipline, because the purpose of Islamic Education according to M. Natsir is to produce preachers who are sincere, have militancy and are competent. Various kinds of problems in the community, nationality and social dynamics of Indonesian society require graduates of Islamic universities to have diverse skills, including aspects of knowledge, faith, worship supported by noble morals. This research aims to reveal the concept of management of Islamic higher education at the M. Natsir College of Da'wah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative on the object of the literature studied, then using a case study to compile the concept of education management of STID Mohammad Natsir. The findings obtained, that the management of Islamic higher education at STID M. Natsir aims to produce preachers in all study programmes. Student input is done by selecting students from various regions and delegates of the Indonesian Islamic da'wah council from the competence of reading the Qur'an, basic understanding of Islam and orientation to become a preacher after graduation. The higher education process combines three components, namely mosque, Pesantren and campus, and the educational output is ready to become preachers in remote and inland areas. This concept was inspired by the educational ideas of Mr M. Natsir.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and understand the rules of sharia in pawning according to the four major schools of thought, namely Hanafiyah, Malikiyah, Syafiiyyah and Hanabilah, which are then compared between the evidence of each school of thought and the just munaqasyah regarding the hadith of Abu Hurairah, as well as the law on the use of pawning livestock both in terms of riding it and also drinking its milk. This study uses a descriptive analytical research type (non-statistical), which focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, and uses a normative, historical legal approach method. The results of the study were as follows; First, Pawning is a process of borrowing and lending interaction by making certain goods as collateral for the creditor's debt which is held and controlled by the debtor, until the debt is paid off on time. The pillars of pawning include Rahin, Murtahin, Marhun/rahn, Marhun bih. Meanwhile, there are four conditions for pawning, namely the goods must be able to be traded, must be valuable property, Marhun must be able to be utilized according to sharia, its physical condition must be known, must be owned by the rahin (borrower or pawnbroker). Second, in the utilization of pawned property, if it is done by the rahin, the majority of scholars allow the rahin to utilize the pawned goods as long as they get permission from the murtahin. In addition, the rahin must guarantee that the goods are safe and intact. As for if the utilization of pawned property is done by the murtahin, the majority of scholars do not allow the murtahin to utilize the pawned goods absolutely, because the goods are not fully his property. The murtahin's right to the goods is only as collateral for the debt he gave, and if the person who owes is unable to pay off his debt, then he may sell or value the goods to pay off his debt.
