Abstract

One of the key success factors in the e-commerce industry is the increase in consumer engagement. High engagement has been proven to drive sales growth and customer loyalty. To achieve this goal, the application of gamification in marketing campaigns has been shown to have a significant impact on customer engagement in e-commerce. This study aims to optimize the selection of gamification types in pop-up campaigns to enhance consumer engagement on the XYZ e-commerce platform. The selection of the right type of gamification is crucial, but it is often influenced by subjectivity in assessment. To that end, this research uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which integrates historical data as a reference in filling alternatives based on criteria to reduce the subjectivity of the AHP method in determining the most effective type of gamification based on the criteria of Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CR), and Impression. The research results show that the Memory Card type of gamification is the most effective type with the potential to increase consumer engagement. This approach is expected to serve as a reference for e-commerce platforms in designing more effective and data-driven gamification strategies.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a high level of earthquake vulnerability because it is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Java Island, as the most populous region and the center of the national economy, has a great risk of earthquake impacts. This study aims to analyze earthquakes in Java Island during the 2019-2024 period using the K-Means algorithm. Clustering the data based on magnitude, depth, location, and time of occurrence resulted in three clusters that reflect the characteristics of earthquakes in the region. This clustering provides important insights into the distribution and intensity of earthquakes in Java. The information obtained can be used to support disaster mitigation efforts more strategically. The government and community are expected to be able to increase preparedness for disaster risks and design effective mitigation policies to minimize the impact of future earthquakes. This research shows the great potential of applying data-driven technology as a basis for decision-making in disaster mitigation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The application of the right information system architecture framework is very important in ensuring efficiency and consistency in data management, especially in drug management information systems in the government sector. This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of the application of the Zachman Framework in the design of the Drug Management Information System at the Purbalingga Health Office using the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) approach. The evaluation was conducted on six main perspectives of Zachman: Planner, Owner, Designer, Builder, Subcontractor, and Functioning System. The measurement results showed the following maturity percentage values: Planner (60%), Owner (40%), Designer (60%), Builder (40%), Subcontractor (20%), and Functioning System (60%), with an average maturity level of 46.67% or equivalent to Level 2 (Repeatable). These results indicate that the design process already has a basic pattern but has not been thoroughly documented or standardized. The main recommendation in this research is to improve technical documentation, HR training, and integration between architecture perspectives to achieve a higher level of maturity.

Abstract

Pemerataan akses terhadap fasilitas dasar dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Indonesia masih menjadi tantangan besar, khususnya antarprovinsi. Meskipun dalam satu dekade terakhir telah terjadi kemajuan pembangunan, ketimpangan antarwilayah masih tampak nyata. Ketimpangan ini tercermin dari perbedaan signifikan dalam akses terhadap air minum layak, sanitasi, listrik, tempat tinggal yang layak, serta pengeluaran rumah tangga per kapita per bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan 34 provinsi di Indonesia berdasarkan indikator akses terhadap fasilitas dasar dan pengeluaran rumah tangga guna mengidentifikasi pola ketimpangan pembangunan wilayah. Metode yang digunakan adalah algoritma K-Means Clustering dengan variabel mencakup kepemilikan rumah, akses air minum layak, sanitasi, listrik, penggunaan gas, serta pengeluaran rumah tangga yang berkaitan dengan fasilitas tersebut. Hasil segmentasi menunjukkan terbentuknya dua klaster: Klaster 1 terdiri dari 29 provinsi dengan akses yang lebih baik terhadap fasilitas dasar dan tingkat pengeluaran rumah tangga yang lebih tinggi, namun dengan tingkat kepemilikan rumah yang relatif lebih rendah. Klaster 2 mencakup 5 provinsi dengan akses terbatas terhadap infrastruktur dasar dan tingkat pengeluaran yang lebih rendah, namun dengan tingkat kepemilikan rumah yang lebih tinggi. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran mengenai ketimpangan pembangunan antarprovinsi di Indonesia yang dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah dalam perumusan kebijakan pembangunan wilayah yang lebih merata.

Abstract

Electricity is a basic necessity required in daily life, supporting various activities, including economic development. The growing demand for electricity requires reliable and efficient planning and management of the power system. Electricity demand forecasting is essential due to its fluctuating nature and seasonal patterns. This study aims to forecast electricity demand using the Triple Exponential Smoothing method with data from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) for the New South Wales region, Australia, covering the period from January 2015 to February 2025. This method is chosen because it effectively handles time series data patterns consisting of level, trend, and seasonal components. The forecasting results show that this method is capable of closely following the actual data patterns and produces a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 2.89%, indicating a very good performance. This model is expected to serve as a basis for decision-making in anticipating future fluctuations in electricity demand.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dan pesatnya pertumbuhan e-commerce telah mengubah pola interaksi antara konsumen dan pelaku bisnis, termasuk dalam sektor penjualan laptop second. HR Computer Cilacap, yang fokus pada penjualan laptop second dan sparepart, masih menjalankan operasional secara konvensional, seperti pencatatan stok, proses transaksi, dan penjualan yang hanya bergantung pada platform media sosial seperti WhatsApp dan Instagram. Kondisi ini menyebabkan sejumlah hambatan, termasuk kesulitan pelanggan dalam menentukan laptop yang sesuai kebutuhan akibat kurangnya informasi yang tersedia, serta tidak adanya sistem otomatis untuk proses verifikasi pembayaran, yang berdampak pada layanan, sehingga pelayanan menjadi kurang maksimal. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan sistem e-commerce berbasis website dengan pendekatan metode Waterfall. Frontend pada sistem ini dibangun menggunakan Next.js untuk memberikan antarmuka pengguna yang responsif dan mudah diakses melalui berbagai perangkat. Sementara itu, backend dikembangkan menggunakan Node.js yang terintegrasi dengan Prisma ORM untuk pengelolaan database PostgreSQL. Untuk sistem pembayaran, diimplementasikan integrasi Midtrans sebagai solusi multi-payment yang mendukung berbagai metode pembayaran seperti transfer bank, e-wallet, dan QRIS. Manajemen file media juga ditangani oleh Cloudinary, sedangkan pengelolaan database difasilitasi melalui Neon Console. Dengan adanya sistem ini, pelanggan dapat menelusuri katalog produk, melakukan pemesanan, dan menyelesaikan pembayaran secara mandiri dan real-time melalui platform digital. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian fungsional, seluruh fitur utama berjalan dengan baik (100% berhasil pada 9 skenario uji), serta peningkatan dalam proses transaksi dengan fitur multi-payment dibandingkan metode konvensional. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan cakupan pasar, mempercepat alur transaksi, dan memberikan pengalaman belanja yang lebih aman dan nyaman sesuai perkembangan teknologi saat ini.

Abstract

Implementasi Program Kampung Iklim (ProKlim) memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai kelompok kelembagaan masyarakat. Masjid memiliki peran strategis sebagai sarana untuk menerapkan praktik perilaku ramah lingkungan melalui konsep eco masjid yang dapat mendukung ProKlim. Kegiatan pengabdian di Masjid An Nur, Dusun Kepuh ini bertujuan untuk : (1) meningkatkan pemahaman takmir dan jamaah masjid tentang eco masjid; (2) mewujudkan percontohan praktik eco masjid; (3) meningkatkan pemahaman dan perilaku ramah lingkungan pada santri TPA, serta (4) menumbuhkan praktik ekonomi sirkuler dari praktik eco masjid. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatory rural appraisal (PRA) yang dilaksanakan bermitra dengan takmir masjid, jamaah masjid, santri TPA, dan bank sampah. Bentuk dan urutan kegiatan meliputi edukasi tentang eco masjid, edukasi perilaku ramah lingkungan, ekonomi sirkuler eco masjid dengan bank sampah, serta inisiasi praktis eco masjid,. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan: (1) adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang eco masjid pada jamaah, ditunjukkan dengan 21 sample mitra (2 takmir, 10 santri, 1o jamaah) bisa menjawab quiz dengan tepat; (2) peningkatan perilaku ramah lingkungan dari santri TPA; (3) kemitraan dengan bank sampah untuk economi sirkuler dari masjid, serta (4) terwujudnya penampung air hujan (PAH), komposter sampah organik, pemilahan sampah anorganik, dan pemanfaatan limbah air wudhu untuk penyiraman lahan pekarangan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usability level of the Library Information System website of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto (SIPUS UMP) by combining two evaluation approaches, namely the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Heuristic Evaluation (HE). The evaluation was conducted by involving 30 active UMP student respondents for the SUS method and 5 expert evaluators from various professional backgrounds for the HE method. The HE evaluation results showed that the most significant problem was in the Help and Documentation aspect with the highest Severity Rating score of 3.10, while the Aesthetic and Minimalist Design aspect had the lowest score. Meanwhile, the results of the SUS method obtained an average score of 57.58%, which was categorized as Grade “D”, Adjective Rating “Good”, Acceptability “Marginal”, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) “Detractor”. These findings indicate that although the system is still acceptable to users, several improvements are needed in terms of appearance, documentation, and usage flow to improve the overall user experience. The combination of the HE and SUS methods in this study provides a comprehensive analysis both qualitatively and quantitatively as a basis for developing a more optimal system.

Abstract

The implementation of a mobile-based digital attendance system in higher education aims to enhance the efficiency of academic administration and the accuracy of attendance data. However, various challenges remain that impact the quality of user experience, including suboptimal authentication processes, the absence of logout notifications, limited attendance data visualization, and lack of login information storage features. These issues can potentially diminish user convenience and reduce long-term application efficiency. At Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, a barcode-scanning-based attendance application has been deployed; however, a comprehensive usability and user perception evaluation has not yet been conducted. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the application using a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods, namely the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and the Think Aloud protocol. The UEQ method is employed to assess user perception across six dimensions: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. In contrast, the Think Aloud method explores users’ real-time verbal feedback and difficulties while interacting with the application. A total of 100 respondents completed the UEQ, and 5 participants took part in the Think Aloud sessions. The results indicate that all UEQ dimensions received positive scores, with clarity scoring the highest (mean = 1.95) and novelty the lowest (mean = 1.35). Findings from the Think Aloud sessions corroborate the UEQ results and reveal previously unidentified areas for improvement. Based on these insights, user-centered design recommendations were developed and translated into a user interface prototype. This study not only provides a comprehensive usability evaluation but also offers direction for the development of a more intuitive and adaptive mobile attendance application that can be adopted by other educational institutions.
