Abstract

Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: (1)untuk mengetahui hasil pemecahan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran (2)untuk Mengetahui Aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Bawakaraeng I dan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan Problem Solving berbantuan tabel Keywords dan kelas kontrol diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa kemampuan siswa diasumsikan homogen. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri data atas hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita matematika, data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, dan data keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Data aktivitas siswa dan data keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif sedangkan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan pendekatan Problem Solving berbantuan tabel Keywords dalam materi FPB dan KPK terlaksana dengan baik sekali,(2) penerapan pendekatan Problem Solving berbantuan tabel Keywords dalam materi FPB dan KPK pada siswa kelas IV SDN Bawakaraeng I berpengaruh ditinjau dari aspek: (a) hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan rata-rata skor posttes lebih besar dari rata-rata skor pretes, rata-rata skor posttes adalah 86,33≥KKM, rata-rata gain adalah 0,7, dan siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 100% ≥ 75%; (b) aktivitas belajar siswa dengan rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas 83,86. Hasil uji hipotesis pada taraf siginifikan ???? = 0,05 dengan uji-t menunjukan bahwa pendekatan Problem Solving berbantuan tabel Keywords berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah soal cerita matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Bawakaraeng I Abstract This type of research is an experimental research that aims to: (1) to find out the results of students' problem solving math story problems in learning (2) to find out the activities of students in participating in mathematics lessons. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN Bawakaraeng I and the sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class taught using the Problem Solving table Keywords and the control class taught using the direct learning model. The sample selected using simple random sampling technique with the consideration that students' abilities are assumed to be homogeneous. The data collected consisted of data on the results of problem solving abilities in math story problems, data on student activities in learning, and data on the implementation of learning. Student activity data and student learning implementation data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, while data on students' problem-solving abilities in mathematics story problems were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of the Problem Solving table Keywords in the FPB and KPK materials was very well carried out, (2) the implementation of the Problem Solving assisted by the Keywords in the FPB and KPK material in the fourth grade students of SDN Bawakaraeng I was influential in terms of aspects: (a) the results of mathematical problem solving abilities with an average posttest greater than the average pretest, the average posttest score is 86.33≥KKM, the average gain is 0.7, and students who complete as much as 100% 75%; (b) student learning activities with an average activity implementation of 83.86. The results of the hypothesis test at a significant level = 0.05 with at showed that the Problem Solving table Keywords effect on the problem solving ability of fourth grade students of SDN Bawakaraeng I math story problems.

Abstract

This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design with the research design that will be used is the nonequivalent Control Group Design, in this study a certain treatment is given, namely the control class and the experimental class. The number of samples in this study were 58 students. The data collection method used is the activity of learning to read the beginning of grade I students and writing skills tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the first by using a descriptive statistical approach, inferential statistics and manova hypothesis testing. The results showed that: 1) the activities of students in the experimental class using the VAKT method with a total score of 52 divided by the total score multiplied by one hundred with a total result of 81.25. From these results it can be concluded that the VAKT method can affect the ability to read at the beginning of class I; 2) the statistical test of the experimental class is 83.59 and getting a good classification score, it can be concluded that the use of the VAKT method can affect the initial writing skills of first grade students; and 3) test the Manova hypothesis with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the VAKT method on students' reading and writing skills

Abstract

Teaching materials teachers use for fifth-grade students still need to take advantage of the environment around students. The textbooks used in learning still found examples from outside the student's environment. The examples given are outside the area where students live, so students need to gain initial knowledge of the material being studied. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of local culture-based reading comprehension teaching materials as teaching materials for fifth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this research were fifth-grade elementary school students—questionnaire data collection techniques for teacher and student responses, and learning achievement tests. The results of this study indicate that teaching materials for reading comprehension based on local culture get a positive response. It is evidenced by the effectiveness of teaching materials obtained from increasing student learning outcomes obtained by the effectiveness of 0.76% with high criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that this teaching material meets the criteria and is effective and appropriate for use as Indonesian language teaching material. This research can have positive implications for students. It can make students interested in participating independently in the learning process to create superior human resources, increase students' understanding of reading, and be more active and focused in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the pronunciation of students majoring in tourism when making English presentations and what factors influenced their presentations. This research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were students of class XI UPW 1 SMK 1 Gowa with a total of 29 students. The research instrument used was using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that students' English pronunciation was still not good enough and it was influenced by internal and external factors experienced by students when they made presentations. There are several internal factors that greatly affect the quality of students’ presentation. These include: students’ motivation in learning English, students’ interesting, students’ mood, nervous, unconfident, and memory ability. In addition, external factors that have the potential to be experienced by students during presentations include the students’ social environment, the class condition, inadequate media, poor learning methods, incomplete facilities, lack of practice.

Abstract

This study aims to describe fourth-grade elementary school students' reading interest and reading comprehension ability through the Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Bontoala I Gowa, totaling 60 students. Data on reading interest was collected through a questionnaire technique, and reading comprehension ability was assessed using a test technique. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential analysis techniques consisting of independent sample t-tests and Manova tests. The results showed an increase in students' average reading interest and reading comprehension ability through the QAR strategy, so it can be concluded that the QAR strategy can increase the reading interest and reading comprehension ability of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Bontoala I Gowa.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the hands-on activity learning model assisted by scrapbook media on the ability to write fiction stories of class V Gugus II students, Patallassang District, Gowa Regency. The research method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 62 students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group which used the hands-on activity learning model assisted by scrapbook media and the control group which used the conventional learning model. The research instrument includes a test of the ability to write fiction stories. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the ability to write fiction stories of experimental group students compared to the control group. Multivariate Significance Test with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that Ho is rejected. H1 is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the hands-on activity model assisted by Scrapbook media simultaneously on the ability to write fiction stories for class V students. The conclusion of this research is that the hands-on learning model on activity assisted by scrapbook media is effective in improving the ability to write fiction stories for class V students. The implication of this research is the need for teachers to adopt and integrate creative media such as scrapbooks in the learning process in order to improve the quality of education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing Experiential Learning in improving the narrative writing and speaking skills of fifth-grade students in Cluster 2, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency. The research problem focuses on whether the Experiential Learning model can significantly enhance students' narrative writing and speaking skills compared to conventional teaching methods. The research method employed is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach involving two groups: an experimental group using the Experiential Learning model and a control group employing conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through narrative writing and speaking skill tests as well as observations. The population and sample of this study comprised fifth-grade students in Cluster 2, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, involving one class as the experimental group and another as the control group. The results revealed that the implementation of the Experiential Learning model significantly improved the narrative writing and speaking skills of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. This improvement occurred because students in the experimental group experienced a more active, reflective, and collaborative learning process, enabling them to produce more cohesive and structured written and spoken narratives.Conclusion, Experiential Learning has proven effective in enhancing students' narrative writing and speaking skills compared to conventional teaching methods.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out how the results of learning Indonesian using the Script Type Cooperative learning model are a type of research that only involves one class as an experimental class which is carried out without a comparison group. Data collection techniques used are observation and tests in the form of essays. The results showed that the use of the script type cooperative learning model for learning reading comprehension in positive students was better than before using the script cooperative model. the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula and it is known that the value of Tcount obtained is Tcount = 26.798 and Ttable = 2.05954, so Tcount > Ttable or 26.798 > 2.05954. So it can be concluded that Ho (no influence) is rejected and H1 (there is influence) is accepted. This proves that there is an effect of using the script type cooperative learning model on learning reading comprehension in class V UPT SPF SDN Maccini Sombala.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of narrative writing skills and interest in learning using online-based video scribe media in the fifth grade of SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru, Makassar City. The research used is a quasi-experimental quantitative research. The design used is the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design consisting of two groups that were not selected at random using simple random sampling technique. From the test results using the sample t test on the skills of writing narrative essays, the significance value of Levene's Test for Equality is 0.620 > 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.05. This value indicates that the data in this study is homogeneous, the significant value (Sig2-tailed) is 0.03 <0.05. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the skills of writing narrative essays using video scribe media. From the results of testing interest in learning, the significance value of Levene's Test for Equality is 0.751 > 0.05. This value indicates that the data in this study is homogeneous, the significant value (Sig2-tailed) is 0.04 < 0.05. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on interest in learning to write narrative essays using video scribe media. From the results of the MANOVA test, the value of sig 0.00 <0.05, which means that there is a simultaneous effect of using video scribe media on narrative essay writing skills and student learning interest.

Abstract

The aim of this community service activity is to enhance the understanding and application of Pancasila values among Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students through the Pancasila course as an ethical system. The background of this activity arises from the need for a more practical and contextual approach to character education. The implementation method involves online group discussions with 21 prospective elementary school teachers. The findings indicate that approximately 80% of students have achieved a good level of understanding of Pancasila ethical concepts, with 85% actively participating in group discussions. A significant number of groups, around 75%, engaged in in-depth discussions and effective collaboration regarding the application of Pancasila values in daily life and educational environments. Good analytical skills were demonstrated by about 78% of students in detailing and applying Pancasila values to case studies. From this activity, students can provide significant benefits to society through improved character education. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes theoretical contributions to character education through the Pancasila course and suggests improvements such as increased use of technology, provision of more structured teaching materials, regular evaluations, and involvement of external stakeholders in future community service activities. Thus, this activity makes a positive contribution to shaping the character of PGSD students and strengthening community involvement in the learning process.
