Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of financial knowledge and personality traits on the investment behavior of Gen Z and Millennial women with education level serving as a mediating variable.Method: The research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The study sample includes Gen Z and Millennial women in Bekasi Regency. A purposive sampling technique was used, combining online and direct questionnaire distribution methods as well as interviews. A total of 100 respondents were selected for the study.Result: The findings indicate that financial knowledge does not directly impact investment behavior or education level. However, personality traits significantly influence both investment behavior and education level. Additionally, education level significantly affects investment behavior. While education level does not mediate the relationship between financial knowledge and investment behavior, it does mediate the relationship between personality traits and investment behavior.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: This research underscores the importance of financial knowledge for Gen Z and Millennial women, particularly as Gen Z is poised to become the "golden generation" by 2045. By fostering sound financial management practices through financial knowledge and personality traits, individuals can effectively convert income into long-term assets through various investment instruments. This, in turn, contributes to sustainable economic development and growth.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of financial socialization and perceptions of financial technology on entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z university students. It also investigates whether financial inclusion mediates these relationships.Method: This study employed predictive quantitative approach using questionnaire survey and purposive sampling. The final sample comprised 200 Generation Z university students in Bekasi Regency. Data was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).Result: This research found that financial socialization has a significant direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. Financial socialization and perceptions of financial technology also significantly affect financial inclusion. However, perceptions of financial technology and financial inclusion do not significantly affect entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, financial inclusion does not mediate the relationships between financial socialization, perceptions of financial technology, and entrepreneurial intention.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: This study highlights the importance of strengthening financial socialization to foster entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z. Universities, local governments, and financial institutions should provide practical financial education programs that support entrepreneurial decision-making and expand access to financial services.Originality/Value: This study tests financial inclusion as a mediator between financial socialization, perceptions of financial technology, and entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z university students.

Abstract

Maju Jaya Rice Agent located in North Cikarang is an MSME engaged in the distribution and sale of rice and basic necessities. Despite having a strategic location and wide market potential, partners still face various operational obstacles, such as the dominance of cash transactions that limit consumer flexibility, the lack of a structured Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for services, and the lack of optimal use of digital marketing. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to increase the capacity and competitiveness of partners' businesses through the integration of digital payment systems, improving the quality of SOP-based services, and optimizing digital marketing strategies. The implementation method is carried out offline through five stages, namely socialization, service excellence training and inventory management, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and preparation of SOP guidebooks for program sustainability. The results of the activity show that partners are now able to operate non-cash transactions through QRIS and e-wallets, manage spreadsheet-based bookkeeping, consistently implement service SOPs, and utilize digital media such as WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Google Maps/Google Business Profile. This program has a positive impact on improving operational efficiency, governance professionalism, customer service quality, and expanding partner market reach in the digital era.

Abstract

Purpose – The research aims to determine the role and new findings from the internal and external environments in the value-driven business strategy model on university performance, with the partnership dimension as a mediating variable.  Methodology – The research method uses a causality quantitative approach, with a purposive sampling technique of 125 respondents who are position holders at universities in West Java. The research data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. Findings – The results of the study provide findings that the external environment and internal environment have a significant effect on value-driven business strategy. Partnership does not affect college performance, so value-driven business strategy significantly affects partnership. Value-driven business strategy significantly affects college performance; in the mediation dimension, the partnership does not mediate the relationship between value-driven business strategy and college performance. Value-driven business strategy does not mediate the relationship between the external environment and college performance. Finally, a value-driven business strategy can mediate the relationship between the internal environment and college performance. Originality – This study extends the Value-Driven Business Strategy Theory by adding new variables: the external and internal environments on the performance of higher Education institutions through value-based strategies, and a mediating variable, partnership, that connects value-based strategy to the performance of higher Education institutions. The external and internal environments are among the factors in improving the performance of higher Education institutions, and partnership is considered an important variable in value-based business strategies.
