Abstract

Penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) di bidang Pendidikan mengalami beberapa inovasi dalam pembelajarannya, salah satunya adalah menggunakan media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kelayakan video PjBL berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran Fisika materi hukum kekekalan energi dan mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik setelah pembelajaran video PjBL berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran Fisika materi Hukum Kelekalan Energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah diperoleh dari data kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam menentukan kelayakan produk hasil pengembangan. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi untuk validator dan angket respon peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kelayakan produk yaitu 96,11% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan persentase respon peserta didik yaitu 82,14% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Berdasarkan kriteria tingkat kelayakan dan respon peserta didik maka media Video PjBL berbasis STEM kelas X IPA pada materi Hukum Kekekalan Energi Mekanik dalam kualifikasi sangat layak digunakan untuk media pembelajaran peserta didik.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the awareness and skills of the Mulyoagung Village community in sustainably managing livestock waste through the production of solid and liquid organic fertilizers. The activities were conducted using socialization, training, hands-on practice, and evaluation methods through pre-tests and post-tests involving 50 livestock-owning participants. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in understanding the environmental impacts of livestock waste and the techniques for processing it into organic fertilizer. Participants were able to independently practice the fertilizer production process and demonstrated readiness to apply the training outcomes. This program contributes to reducing environmental pollution and supports sustainable agriculture based on local potential.

Abstract

Environmental problems caused by the increase in household plastic waste, particularly single-use plastic bottles, have become a serious issue in Betek Village, Mojoagung, Jombang. An average of 4–5 kg of plastic bottles is collected every week at the Betek Bersinar Waste Bank, with suboptimal utilization. This condition demands innovation in productive and sustainable management through vertical farming based on plastic waste recycling. This community service program aims to empower the community through the implementation of vertical farming based on plastic bottle recycling as an effort to downstream food security in limited land. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through the stages of preparation, education and counseling, technical training, implementation and mentoring, and evaluation & monitoring. The activity evaluation uses a pretest–posttest one-group design with 18 participants consisting of waste bank managers and village officials. The evaluation instrument is a Likert questionnaire 1–5 to measure the participants' management skills. The results show an increase in management skills from 58.67% to 83.61%, with the category of "Very Good". Participants are able to create and operate 8 active vertical farming units with a crop success rate of 87.5%. This program has proven effective in increasing agricultural technology literacy and awareness of sustainable plastic waste management, and has the potential to be replicated in other regions with similar characteristics.

Abstract

Abstrak— Akses informasi akademik di Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) melalui website panduan saat ini dinilai belum optimal karena kurangnya interaktivitas, sehingga mahasiswa seringkali harus menghubungi pihak administrasi secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kinerja Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), yaitu RAG Klasik guna menguji kinerja sistem dalam menghasilkan respon yang relevan, akurat, dan kontekstual pada chatbot akademik. Lingkup penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengujian evaluasi kinerja dan efisiensi metode tersebut dalam mengolah data multimodal yang bersumber dari portal SSO UNESA, mencakup format teks, gambar, dan dokumen PDF. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, ekstraksi teks menggunakan Optical Character Recognition (OCR), preprocessing, serta penerapan dua strategi pelabelan, yakni manual dan otomatis. Penelitian ini menganalisis kinerja RAG Klasik yang menggunakan algoritma BM25 dalam mengolah data multimodal. RAG Klasik diimplementasikan menggunakan algoritma BM25 berbasis kata kunci. Evaluasi dilakukan secara sistematis menggunakan metrik efektivitas (Precision, Recall, F1-Score, Exact Match, dan Cosine Similarity) serta metrik efisiensi (waktu respons). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RAG Klasik memiliki efisiensi luar biasa dengan waktu respon rata-rata dibawah 0,01 detik. Namun, dari sisi kinerja, metode ini sangat bergantung pada kualitas pelabelan, di mana skenario label otomatis mencapai F1-Score 0.52 dan Csoine Similarity 0.51, mengungguli scenario label manual. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa RAG Klasik sangat ideal untuk informasi procedural yang membutuhkan respon instan meskipun memiliki keterbatsan dalam pemahaman semantic yang mendalam.   Kata Kunci— Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), RAG Klasik, BM25, Multimodal, UNESA.

Abstract

Covid-19, which originally came from the Wuhan area, China, is an infectious disease outbreak resulting from an outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The spread of this virus can be through the air or droplets from an infected person. Prevention that has been attempted at this time is the application of health protocols, quarantine for Covid-19 patients, as well as social distancing. This manuscript seeks to explore the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 through the Islamic tradition with the figure of Ibn Sina. The method used is descriptive-analysis that focuses on literature studies with a qualitative approach that describes Covid-19. Some of the conclusions obtained are in the form of efforts to prevent the spread of infectious diseases at the time of Ibn Sina. First; quarantine. Quarantine is carried out for people with infectious diseases to prevent the spread of disease to healthy people. Second; good food consumption. Consumption of good food can be in the form of nutritious food as well as foods that can prevent the entry of germs in the body, such as garlic. Third; emotional processing. Emotional processing can be done by avoiding fatigue, being patient, thinking positively as well as getting enough sunlight. Fourth; al-wahm al'amil. Al-wahm al 'amil strives to build positive energy in the soul by giving positive perceptions to patients. Fifth; wash with vinegar mixed water. Vinegar water is used to kill microbes that stick to the body and clothes. These 5 efforts to prevent infectious diseases in Ibn Sina's time are very relevant to the current Covid-19 outbreak.
