Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of the ideology of patriotism in the animated film Battle Of Surabaya is depicted and analyze the relevance of the animated film Battle Of Surabaya in learning Indonesian in high school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type Likewise, the analytical tool in this study uses Jhon Fiske's semiotics. The research instrument is the researcher himself. The data and data sources in this study are research informants, observed phenomena, and documentation. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and notes. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data coding, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. checking the validity of the data used is triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The results that have been found are four attitudes of patriotism, courage, three are willing to sacrifice, and one is love for the nation and state. In addition, this study also found the results of observations, interviews, documentation, and notes about the relevance of the animated film Battle Of Surabaya in learning Indonesian at SMA Negeri 1 Maron. The relevance of this animated film from the explanation of the teacher and several students of class XI D can be used as effective teaching material and learning media for Indonesian, especially drama text material because this film can make it easier for students to understand the material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena perbedaan strategi mengajar antara guru generasi milenial dan guru generasi z yang berdampak pada kualitas pelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis perbedaan strategi mengajar antara guru generasi milenial dan generasi Z serta memahami perspektif siswa terhadap perbedaan tersebut di salah satu SMP. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari guru generasi milenial dan generasi z, siswa dan kepala sekolah. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data/penarikan kesimpulan, untuk menguji keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) adanya perbedaan yang signifikan, di mana guru generasi milenial lebih adaptif, aktif, kreatif, dan inovatif dalam menerapkan metode, media, dan teknologi pembelajaran. Sebaliknya, guru generasi z cenderung menggunakan strategi konvensional dan minim dalam penggunaan teknologi. 2) Siswa menunjukkan respons lebih positif terhadap pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru generasi milenial, baik dari segi pemahaman materi, gaya mengajar, antusiasme, maupun keterlibatan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu sekolah perlu memberikan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi seluruh guru lintas generasi guna memperkuat strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual, efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa saat ini.

Abstract

Era of globalization. The cultural and religious values ​​contained in this tradition make it an integral part of local community life. Despite living in modern times with the significant influence of globalization, the Tedhak Siten In the current era of globalization, local traditions often face various challenges. Globalization brings foreign cultural influences that can change the way of life and values ​​of local communities. The influence of technology, social media, influences the way local people view and practice their traditions. This research aims to analyze the role of the Gununggeni village community regarding the Tedhak Siten tradition as local wisdom in the era of globalization. This research uses qualitative methods, with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and theory triangulation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusions. The research informants consisted of several people from Gununggeni village and several young people from Gununggeni village. The results of this research are that the Tedhak Siten tradition in Gununggeni Village has a strong existence even though it is in the tradition is still preserved and considered an obligation by the village community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' learning difficulties in terms of learning styles in social studies subjects at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah. Descriptive qualitative is used to determine the paradigm of this research. Interview, observation and documentation are the methods used in this research to collect data. The results of this study explain that: The visual learning style dominates among other learning styles with a percentage of 56.6%, and it is followed by the kinesthetic learning style at 33.3%, and the auditory learning style at 10%. The visual learning style can be seen in students with concrete evidence that must be shown firstly so it can make students understand in lesson. The characteristics of students who have a visual learning style are a high need to see and capture information visually before they understand it. The auditory learning style can be seen from students who are able to become fluent speakers, like to discuss things and explain things at length. Students with this type of learning style are easily distracted by noise and are weak in visual activities. The kinesthetic learning style can be seen in students who find it difficult to sit still for hours because of their desire for activity and exploration.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, which also possesses a very rich diversity of religions, cultures, and ethnicities. This study aims to examine the implementation of religious moderation values in the socio-cultural interactions of students at SMPN 1 Sukapura, Sukapura District, Probolinggo Regency. The research focuses on four main indicators of religious moderation, namely national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and accommodative attitude towards local culture. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that national commitment is reflected in students’ active participation in national activities; tolerance is manifested through harmonious interfaith interactions; anti-violence is internalized through a culture of peaceful conflict resolution; while accommodative values are evident in students’ involvement in Tengger cultural traditions. These results indicate that the school plays an essential role as an agent of socialization for moderation values, where symbolic interactions among educational actors shape students’ identity as moderate individuals. The study concludes that the implementation of religious moderation values at SMPN 1 Sukapura is comprehensive, integrated into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and school culture, thereby fostering harmony within a multicultural educational environment.Abstrak: Indonesia merupakan negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia, yang juga memiliki keberagaman agama, budaya, dan etnis yang sangat kaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam interaksi sosial budaya siswa di SMPN 1 Sukapura, Kecamatan Sukapura, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada empat indikator utama moderasi beragama, yakni komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti-kekerasan, dan akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa yang memiliki latar belakang agama dan budaya berbeda. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai komitmen kebangsaan tercermin dalam partisipasi aktif siswa pada kegiatan kebangsaan; nilai toleransi diwujudkan melalui interaksi harmonis lintas agama; nilai anti-kekerasan terinternalisasi melalui budaya penyelesaian konflik secara damai; sedangkan nilai akomodatif tampak pada keterlibatan siswa dalam tradisi masyarakat Tengger. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa sekolah berperan penting sebagai agen sosialisasi nilai moderasi, di mana interaksi simbolik antaraktor pendidikan membentuk identitas siswa sebagai pribadi moderat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di SMPN 1 Sukapura berlangsung menyeluruh, baik melalui kurikulum, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, maupun budaya sekolah, sehingga mampu menjaga harmoni dalam lingkungan pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a multicultural country with diverse ethnicities, religions, cultures, and languages that serve as both a source of richness and a potential source of conflict if not properly managed. Education plays an important role in internalizing the values of multiculturalism. This study aims to analyze the role of social studies (IPS) teachers in internalizing multicultural values and their implementation in students’ social interactions at SMP Negeri 1 Kraksaan. The focus of the research lies on three aspects of the teacher’s role exemplary behavior, teaching and learning activities, and habituation and four dimensions of multicultural values: tolerance, democracy, equality, and pluralism. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, chosen to explore the meanings, experiences, and actions of teachers and students in a contextual manner. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the principal, social studies teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through source, method, and theoretical triangulation. Albert Bandura’s social learning theory served as the analytical foundation. The results show that social studies teachers play an active role in instilling the values of tolerance, democracy, equality, and pluralism through exemplary conduct, the application of inclusive learning strategies, and the habituation of mutual respect. These findings confirm Albert Bandura’s social learning theory, emphasizing that observation and modeling are essential mechanisms in shaping students’ multicultural behavior. Students learn by imitating teachers who demonstrate fairness, openness, and respect for differences. This study contributes to the development of multicultural-based social studies learning practices by highlighting the teacher’s role as a social agent and model of multicultural behavior who fosters an inclusive learning climate, strengthens tolerant attitudes, and cultivates awareness of diversity in schools.Abstrak: Indonesia merupakan negara multikultural dengan beragam suku, agama, budaya, dan bahasa yang menjadi kekayaan sekaligus potensi konflik jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Pendidikan berperan penting dalam menginternalisasikan nilai multikulturalisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran guru IPS dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai multikulturalisme serta implementasinya dalam interaksi sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Kraksaan. Fokus penelitian ini pada tiga aspek peran guru: keteladanan, KBM, pembiasaan dan empat dimensi nilai multikulturalisme: toleransi, demokrasi, kesetaraan, dan pluralisme. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk menggali makna, pengalaman, serta tindakan guru dan siswa secara kontekstual. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru IPS, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisi data menngunakan Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori. Teori belajar social Albert Bandura sebagai landasan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru IPS berperan aktif dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi, demokrasi, kesetaraan, dan pluralisme melalui aspek keteladanan, penerapan strategi pembelajaran inklusif, dan pembiasaan sikap saling menghargai. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura, bahwa proses observasi dan modeling merupakan mekanisme penting dalam pembentukan perilaku multikultural siswa. Siswa belajar meniru perilaku guru yang menunjukkan keadilan, keterbukaan, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan praktik pembelajaran IPS berbasis multikulturalisme, dengan menegaskan bahwa guru berperan sebagai agen sosial dan model perilaku multikultural yang mampu membentuk iklim belajar inklusif, memperkuat sikap toleran, dan menumbuhkan kesadaran kebinekaan di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technology has had a significant impact on education, yet not all institutions respond in the same way. This study aims to examine the resilience of Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Islam, a Salafi Islamic boarding school, in facing digital transformation through the perspective of Rational Choice Theory. The research employed a qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants included the pesantren’s leader, teachers, students, non-students, parents, and local community members.The findings reveal that the pesantren consistently upholds traditional educational practices, such as the sorogan method, reliance on classical Islamic texts kitab kuning, the use of an independent curriculum, and strict limitations on digital technology. These policies are considered rational strategies to preserve religious values, ethical learning, and the continuity of scholarly transmission sanad. However, the consequences include low digital literacy among students, decreasing public interest, and concerns regarding graduates’ readiness for modern job markets. The study concludes that resistance to digitalization is not a total rejection of progress but a selective adaptation aimed at safeguarding the identity of Salafi education while ensuring its relevance in the modern era.Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi digital membawa pengaruh besar bagi dunia pendidikan, namun tidak semua lembaga merespons secara seragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji resiliensi Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Islam sebagai pesantren salafi dalam menghadapi arus digitalisasi melalui perspektif Teori Pilihan Rasional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari pengasuh pesantren, guru, santri, masyarakat non-santri, wali santri, serta warga sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren tetap mempertahankan pola pendidikan tradisional dengan metode sorogan, kitab kuning sebagai rujukan utama, kurikulum mandiri, serta pembatasan penggunaan teknologi. Kebijakan ini dipandang sebagai langkah rasional untuk menjaga nilai agama, adab, dan kesinambungan sanad keilmuan. Meski demikian, konsekuensi yang muncul antara lain rendahnya literasi digital santri, penurunan minat sebagian masyarakat, dan kekhawatiran terkait kesiapan lulusan di dunia kerja modern. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa resistensi terhadap digitalisasi bukanlah bentuk penolakan mutlak, melainkan strategi selektif guna menjaga identitas pendidikan salaf sekaligus mempertahankan relevansinya di era modern

Abstract

Transformasi sistem pendidikan melalui Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi langkah strategis dalam menjawab tantangan zaman dan menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif serta berorientasi pada siswa. Namun, implementasi kurikulum ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari dinamika dan hambatan, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, serta persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMPN 2 Gading. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penelitian ini. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dan telah melibatkan 10 informan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui proses observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data ditempuh melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Kemudian, untuk menjamin validitas data, penelitian ini menerapkan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teori, serta Member Checking. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMPN 2 Gading telah memberikan ruang bagi guru untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang kreatif, 2) Mampu meningkatkan partisipasi serta kemandirian siswa dalam proses belajar. Meskipun masih ditemukan beberapa kendala baik dari segi siswa maupun guru, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan tetap diperlukan agar proses implementasi berjalan optimal, secara umum penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka telah memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap proses belajar-mengajar.
