Abstract

Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi memberikan dampak yang besar dalam kemajuan bidang Pendidikan. Dengan kemajuan ini menyediakan sumber belajar yang beragam, salah satunya pembelajaran sebuah algoritma/metode. Terkadang sebuah implementasi sebuah algoritma atau metode tidaklah mudah. Karena prosesnya yang kompleks dan membutuhkan waktu untuk memahami langkah-langkahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran dalam menerapkan algoritma Gray Level Co-Occurance Matrix (GLCM) dan KNN dalam pengenalan penyakit pada daun. Algoritma GLCM (Gray Level Co-Occurance Matrix) dan KNN memproses citra yang diinput dengan pengenalan pola untuk mendeteksi penyakit yang terdapat pada tanaman. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi pembelajaran yang dapat menunjukkan langkah-langkah dalam proses pengenalan pola pada daun yang ditampilkan secara detail. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini maka dapat menjadi alternatif bagi masyarakat untuk mempelajari kedua algoritma ini. Kata Kunci: GLCM, KNN, aplikasi pembelajaran  Abstract: Technological advances have had a major impact on the progress of the education sector.  This progress provides various learning resources, one of which is learning an algorithm/method. Sometimes implementing an algorithm or method is not easy.  Because the process is complex and takes time to understand the steps. This research aims to build a learning application in applying the Gray Level Co-Occurance Matrix (GLCM) and KNN algorithms in recognizing disease on leaves.The GLCM (Gray Level Co-Occurance Matrix) and KNN algorithms process the input image with pattern recognition to detect diseases in plants. The results of this research are in the form of a learning application that can show the steps in the pattern recognition process on leaves which are displayed in detail.  With this application, it can be an alternative for people to learn about these two algorithms. Keywords: GLCM, KNN, Learning application

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem monitoring pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) sebagai media pembelajaran di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Medan. Sistem monitoring ini dinamakan EduSolar, yang dirancang menggunakan kombinasi perangkat keras seperti mikrokontroler Arduino UNO, modul sensor arus, tegangan, daya, intensitas cahaya, serta modul WiFi ESP8266 untuk konektivitas IoT. Sistem EduSolar dapat memantau dan menampilkan parameter-parameter penting PLTS secara real-time melalui antarmuka website. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan persentase kelayakan 81,28%, sedangkan validasi ahli materi mencapai 80,83%. Uji respon mahasiswa juga menunjukkan bahwa sistem EduSolar dinyatakan "layak" digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan persentase 78,46%. Dengan demikian, sistem monitoring PLTS berbasis IoT yang terintegrasi sebagai media pembelajaran ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang teknologi energi surya. Kata Kunci: Sistem Monitoring PLTS, IoT, Media Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Interaktif, Energi Surya.  Abstract: This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based solar power plant (PLTS) monitoring system as a learning media in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education at Medan State University. The monitoring system is called EduSolar, designed using a combination of hardware devices such as the Arduino UNO microcontroller, current, voltage, power, and light intensity sensor modules, as well as the ESP8266 WiFi module for IoT connectivity. The EduSolar system can monitor and display real-time important parameters of the solar power plant through a website interface. This research utilizes the ADDIE development method, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The validation results from media experts showed a feasibility percentage of 81.28%, while the validation by subject matter experts reached 80.83%. The student response test also indicated that the EduSolar system was deemed "feasible" as a learning media with a percentage of 78.46%. Therefore, this IoT-based PLTS monitoring system integrated as a learning media has been proven effective in enhancing students' understanding of solar energy technology. Keywords: PLTS Monitoring System, IoT, Learning Media, Interactive Learning, Solar Energy.

Abstract

Nowadays watches have become important items that are effective in telling time and complementing your appearance. Along with the rapid development of information technology, watches with various brands, specifications and prices have emerged. As a result, people become confused in choosing due to various considerations, so a calculation method that produces a ranking assessment to help in choosing a watch is needed. Therefore, research was carried out using the SAW and SMART methods, both of which are included in the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) which can calculate various alternatives and attributes. Based on the research results, it was found that the SAW and SMART methods showed similar top rankings with the suitability level of the SAW method with 99.53033% and the SMART method with 99.42684%.

Abstract

Enkripsi citra digital menggunakan Kriptografi DNA menggabungkan ilmu komputasi dengan prinsip biologis untuk memberikan keamanan ganda. Proses enkripsi terdiri dari dua lapisan. Lapisan pertama, sistem chaos seperti Arnold's Cat Map (ACM) digunakan untuk mengacak posisi piksel melalui beberapa iterasi, sementara Logistic Map (LM) membangkitkan keystream karena sensitivitasnya yang tinggi. Lapisan kedua melibatkan karakteristik DNA, yang memanfaatkan basa nukleotida (A, T, C, G) untuk mengenkripsi data citra pada tingkat molekuler, menghasilkan tingkat keacakan yang tinggi. Setelah enkripsi, ciphertext disembunyikan dalam citra sampul menggunakan teknik steganografi Modified Least Significant Bit (MLSB), yang mengoptimalkan penyisipan bit di saluran RGB dengan pemilihan piksel acak menggunakan generator modulo. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan kualitas enkripsi yang sangat baik, dengan nilai NPCR ≥ 98%, UACI ≥ 30%, koefisien korelasi ≃ 0, entropi ≃ 8, dan histogram yang datar (flat). Kualitas stego-image optimal dicapai dengan penyisipan satu bit pada saluran RGB, menghasilkan PSNR ≥ 50dB. Ketahanan stego-image terhadap noise salt & pepper bergantung pada ukuran citra sampul, persentase noise, dan jumlah bit sisip yang digunakan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Kriptografi DNA, ACM, LM, dan MLSB memberikan keamanan yang tinggi dan sulit ditembus.   Abstract Digital image encryption using DNA Cryptography combines computational science with biological principles to provide dual security. The encryption process consists of two layers: first, a chaotic system like Arnold's Cat Map (ACM) is used to shuffle pixel positions through several iterations, while the Logistic Map (LM) generates a keystream due to its high sensitivity. The second layer involves DNA characteristics, utilizing nucleotide bases (A, T, C, G) to encrypt image data at the molecular level, resulting in higher randomness. After encryption, the ciphertext is hidden within a cover image using Modified Least Significant Bit (MLSB) steganography, which optimizes bit insertion in the RGB channels by selecting random pixels using a modulo generator. Experimental results show excellent encryption quality, with NPCR ≥ 98%, UACI ≥ 30%, correlation coefficient close to 0, entropy close to 8, and a flat histogram. Optimal stego-image quality is achieved with a single bit insertion in the RGB channels, resulting in PSNR ≥ 50dB. The resistance of the stego-image to salt & pepper noise depends on the cover image size, noise percentage, and the number of inserted bits. The results indicate that the combination of DNA Cryptography, ACM, LM, and MLSB provides high security and is difficult to breach.

Abstract

Microsoft Office Word is one of the most widely used word processing applications in Indonesia. At Madrasah Aliyah Al-Washliyah, students have learned how to use Microsoft Office Word, but are limited to the basic features. In this community service, students and students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Washliyah are trained to use the References feature in creating a table of contents and bibliography automatically. The purpose of this community service is to improve the ability of students in optimizing the use of Microsoft Office Word, especially in making a table of contents and bibliography.

Abstract

In 2019, the trend of work-from-home or remote working began to be adopted by several companies in Indonesia. Along with this trend, there was a growing need for software that could monitor the performance of remote employees, one of which was Aplikasi ABC. To increase the adoption of this software, a digital marketing strategy based on observation was implemented, where its effectiveness was analyzed using data obtained from various marketing channels. This activity focuses on several online marketing strategies applied to enhance engagement, conversion rates, and brand awareness. The initial goal of the digital marketing campaign was to achieve an engagement and click-through rate of 5% of total impressions. However, by the end of 2019, the achieved rate was only 2.35%, primarily due to factors such as low brand awareness, less appealing ad designs, and ineffective headlines that failed to capture the target audience’s attention. Additionally, the campaign aimed for a 10% monthly increase in impressions with a marketing budget of less than IDR 5,000,000 per month. The analysis results indicate that advertising costs, SEO optimization, and landing page content quality significantly influence engagement growth and user conversion rates. From this activity, it can be concluded that a more effective digital marketing strategy requires optimized audience targeting, improved ad design quality, and the utilization of more targeted marketing channels. Moreover, well-optimized websites and landing pages can enhance customer retention and support successful user acquisition. These findings can serve as a foundation for developing more effective digital marketing strategies in the future.

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin berkembang pesat, maka mengharuskan sistem Pendidikan juga dapat menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi tersebut. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam bidang pendidikan adalah media pembelajaran atau aplikasi pembelajaran. Aplikasi pembelajaran adalah suatu media pembelajaran dengan metode belajar yang memudahkan proses belajar, tidak membuat bosan dan sulit. Aplikasi pembelajaran dapat dibangun untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran algoritma. Karena prosesnya yang kompleks dan membutuhkan waktu untuk memahami langkah-langkahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi pembelajaran algoritma Boundary 4-Connected dalam identifikasi jumlah sel pada citra sel darah merah. Algoritma Boundary 4-connected merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan region atau objek dalam citra digital. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi pembelajaran algoritma Boundary 4-Connected dalam identifikasi jumlah sel pada citra sel darah merah sudah layak untuk digunakan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran untuk memahami cara kerja algoritma Boundary 4-Connected dalam identifikasi jumlah sel pada citra sel darah merah Kata Kunci: Boundary 4-Connected, aplikasi pembelajaran, citra, sel darah Abstract: The rapid development of technology requires the education system to be able to adapt to the development of this technology. This study aims to build a learning application for the Boundary 4-Connected algorithm in identifying the number of cells in red blood cell images. The Boundary 4-connected algorithm is a method that can be used to classify regions or objects in digital images. The results of this study are that the Boundary 4-Connected algorithm learning application in identifying the number of cells in red blood cell images is suitable for use and can be used as an alternative learning media to understand how the Boundary 4-Connected algorithm works in identifying the number of cells in red blood cell images. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan trainer berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dalam mata kuliah Penggunaan dan Pengaturan Motor Listrik. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran praktik di bidang teknik elektro. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 mahasiswa dan 2 dosen pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Medan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang mencakup tiga indikator utama, yaitu: kebutuhan materi, efisiensi, dan kualitas pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat pencapaian responden (TPR) pada seluruh indikator berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi, yaitu sebesar 87,80% untuk mahasiswa dan 89,58% untuk dosen. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat urgensi dalam penyediaan media pembelajaran berbasis IoT yang mampu menjawab tantangan pembelajaran praktik berbasis teknologi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan trainer IoT sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi perkembangan teknologi industri.

Abstract

The unconducive pandemic situation has greatly affected various aspects of human life, including education. Learning that used to be done face-to-face must change to online learning. Online learning is distance learning based on internet network technology such as video conference, video call or text chat. The ability to use devices that can support the online learning process is needed by students in order to have a better learning experience. An application that can facilitate students in collaborating, communicating, and sharing learning documents is Microsoft Teams. Based on the results of the perception test conducted, it was found that the participants were familiar with several software that support online learning process. But for Microsoft platform itself, they are not familiar with and understand its use. To overcome the students' problems, a service activity was carried out to provide training on the use of Microsoft Teams application. Training activities were carried out twice and the evaluation process was carried out by giving assignments and working on pre-test and post-test questions. Various features from Microsoft are used by the students for online learning, including conversation features, meeting, cloud storage (onedrive), collaboration on the same worksheet in Microsoft Office, and so on. From the results of working on pre-test and post-test questions, it shows that there is an increase in students' skills in using the Microsoft Teams application.
