Abstract

Abstract

The continuity of the Cooperative business will not escape the problems that can be experienced in the future. If the Cooperative's problems are not immediately anticipated and resolved properly, it will be fatal to its sustainability. Therefore, strategic management and operational strategies in cooperative activities are very important to pay attention to. The purpose of the Community Service (PKM) activities at the Banyumanik Banyumanik Dairy Cooperative business in Semarang City is to provide strategic management assistance and operational strategies. This PKM uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through strategic management and operations strategy assistance activities. The evaluation results of this PKM obtained the conclusion that knowledge of strategic management and operations strategy increased 80%, the ability of strategic management and operations strategy increased 75%, the ability to develop strategic management and operations strategy increased 84%, the skills to achieve competitive advantage through strategic management and operations strategy increased 90%, and the skills to develop and implement strategic management and operations strategy increased 90%.

Abstract

Betel leaf (Pipper Betle L.) is a climbing plant that has many benefits. Betel leaves have long been used for fever therapy, cough, stomach cramps, anti-allergic, wound healing, antimicrobial, and antiproliferative. Extraction of betel leaves with green solvent requires optimization of the extraction time and percentage of betel leaves with water. Betel and propolis extracts need to be formulated to become an herbal propolis mouthwash. The purpose of this research (1). Getting the best time and percentage of betel leaves in the extraction into betel extract formulated to make herbal propolis mouthwash. (2). Getting the best formula for variations in the percentage of propolis in herbal propolis mouthwash, (3). Conduct a selectivity test to obtain the results of mouthwash as an antibiotic. Based on the results of this research with a comparison of the heating time of betel leaf extraction. Betel leaf extraction was carried out by the infusion method, and the extract was distilled with variations in the percentage of betel leaves of 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% , and 50% compared with water. The best heating time results for the best betel leaf extraction, based on the yield of betel leaf extraction and pH were 60 minutes. For the optimum betel leaf extraction results at a betel leaf concentration of 50%. Getting a yield value of 40% and pH 4.55 at an extraction time of 60 minutes. The research is still ongoing by conducting a test of the inhibition of Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria in herbal propolis mouthwash with variations in the percentage of propolis of 0%, 2.5%, and 5%.In the blank without the addition of propolis it does not inhibit bacteria Staphylococcus Aureus, the addition of 2.5% and 5% propolis to the herbal propolis mouthwash formula has been proven to inhibit bacteria Staphylococcus Aureus.

Abstract

The literacy and technology digitalization improvement for Z-generation is carried out as a realization of digital development in all sectors, including higher education. The improvement of literacy and the digitalization of technology for Z-generation were examined through stages that include (1) introduction; (2) objectives; (3) implementation; (4) steps; (5) materials; (6) references; and (7) assessment and final evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 465 students currently taking the Indonesian Language course, with details as follows: 45 Public Health A students; 46 Public Health B students; 42 Public Health C students; 34 Public Health D students; 42 D3 Nursing students; 86 Nutrition A students; 86 Nutrition B students; and 84 Medical students. Research method—data collection using Google Forms. The results of this study indicate that the improvement of literacy and technology digitalization is balanced between planning at 61.23%, implementation at 52.81%, and evaluation at 54.2%. This shows a balance between the improvement of literacy and the technology digitalization of Z-generation. Balance occurs between knowledge and skills and between theory and practice in the enhancement of literacy and the digitalization of Z-generation technology.
