Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of employer branding, social media, and perceptions on job application intentions in the startup industry. The research method used is quantitative research method. The population used in this research was 541 students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. The sample used was 94 students using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires and literature studies. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 programme. The results of this research indicate that employer branding partially has no significant effect on job application intentions. Social media partially has a significant influence on job application intentions. Perception partially has a significant influence on job application intentions. Employer branding, social media, and perceptions simultaneously have a significant effect on job application intentions.

Abstract

This study aimed  to find out  the leadership of  Village Head in increasing community participation in development in Balle Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency. This study used a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results showed that the leadership  of the Village Head in Increasing Community Participation in Development in Balle Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency was still not optimal, while for Community Participation, there were still many people who did not have awareness and willingness when viewed from aspects 1) Motivator, the village head needed skill to improve in giving motivation. The village head motivated his subordinates to develop talent, the ability to create a better village office in carrying out all the tasks given by the balle village head. 2) Facilitator, considered optimal in facilitating development activities. the village head had provided facilities and infrastructure for the community and village officials to facilitate the development of the village of Balle. 3) Mobilizers were good because they  do something related to development for the public interest, the village head always encouraged the community and government officials to actively participated in implementing village development.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of the Social Service in Poverty Alleviation in Tana Toraja Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The number of informants in this study were 6 people. Data collection techniques were carried out using source, method and time triangulation. Selection of informants based on the view of the author that the informant has knowledge, and the informant knows the problem the author is researching. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Social Service in poverty alleviation in Tana Toraja Regency is seen from the aspect of being a Regulator, Dynamist and Facilitator in the Poverty Overcoming Program the government has made great efforts to participate in programs for the poor in Tana Toraja, the government has also participated in data collection to the distribution of social assistance to the Social Service facilitating providing

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the free educational contribution program (SPP) for students in Pangkep district. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The number of informants in this study were 4 people. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of implementing the free SPP is seen from aspects 1) The accuracy of program targets, namely the extent to which program participants are right on target, 2) Program socialization is carried out by the education office by utilizing social media, correspondence, and direct outreach to prospective recipients free SPP scholarships 3) the aim of the program is to improve the quality of human resources who are disciplined and increase efficiency and effectiveness to meet the quality and productivity of superior human resources 4) program monitoring is carried out to identify and anticipate problems that arise so that action can be taken as early as possible

Abstract

This research uses qualitative descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are the application of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) to support the implementation of financial reports for the Sinjai Regency Food Security Service which began to be implemented in 2019, which was an initiation from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform. The Regional Government Information System (SIPD) is planning for the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) for the next year and from that planning it can contain financial planning that can be used by the financial treasurer which will later become a budget work plan document and a list of budget implementers, then this document will be used by the treasurer in implementation. financial reporting of the Sinjai Regency Food Security Service. With the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD), it can be reported, informed effectively and efficiently in managing regional financial reports in a transparent and accountable manner and can speed up or make government work more effective.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the village government as a regulator, dynamist and facilitator in empowering farmer groups in Tawakua Village, Angkona District, East Luwu Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews with a number of informants in the field. The results of this research show that the role of the village government is considered less than optimal, where the role of the government as a regulator shows that the village government does not make rules regarding the empowerment of farming communities, but the village government implements the regulations from the central government, the role of the village government as a dynamist, mentoring and training is not evenly provided to all. farmer groups, and the role of the village government as a facilitator in providing seeds, fertilizer and production facilities and infrastructure that are in accordance with the needs of the farming community

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ethics of public service at the Rumbia District Office, Jeneponto Regency. The type of research used is a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that the public service ethics implemented in the Rumbia District Office, Jeneponto Regency have not been fully implemented in accordance with applicable procedures or operational standards (SOP) when viewed from the aspect of 1) Equality of Rights, equality of rights has been running well, serving the community without looking at social, religious, political and class status between rich and poor, 2) Justice, serving the community in a friendly manner, providing explanations to people who want to carry out the administrative process, all communities are treated equally in the sense that whoever comes first is the one who served, 3) Loyalty of employees, especially employees with honorary status who are still loyal to the agency even though they have worked for years with salaries that are not that large, 4) Accountability has not been fully carried out properly.

Abstract

Ikan kembung (Rastrelliger faughni) dapat ditemukan di Indonesia, diminati masyarakat dan dominan di perairan Utara Jawa. Mayoritas masyarakat pesisir Kabupaten Kendal memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan. Parameter oseanografi seperti suhu permukaan laut (SPL) dan klorofil-a mempengaruhi variabilitas hasil tangkapan. Kondisi angin akan mempengaruhi proses mixing diperairan yang selanjutnya berpengaruh terhadap variasi nilai SPL dan suplai nutrien. Adanya kegiatan di darat dan di lingkungan pesisir itu sendiri akan mempengaruhi kesuburan perairan dan musim ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan perubahan SPL dan klorofil-a terhadap catch per unit of effort (CPUE) serta penentuan musim ikan kembung di perairan Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penginderaan jauh untuk mengolah data SPL, klorofil-a dan angin, penentuan musim ikan dianalisis dengan indeks musim penangkapan (IMP) menggunakan metode persentase rata-rata berdasar analisis runtun waktu selama 5 tahun (2016-2020). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh variabilitas SPL dan klorofil-a dengan CPUE pada periode musim peralihan I dan musim timur serta musim peralihan II dan musim barat menunjukkan pengaruh R² yang besar yaitu 0,699 dan 0,704, dengan penambahan variabel angin diperoleh nilai R² yang lebih tinggi yaitu 0,789 dan 0,975. Musim penangkapan ikan kembung di Kabupaten Kendal optimal pada bulan Juni, Juli, Oktober dan November, puncak musim penangkapan terjadi pada bulan Juli dengan IMP sebesar 179%, musim paceklik tidak jelas sepanjang tahunnya.

Abstract

Perairan Morodemak merupakan salah satu daerah pesisir yang perairannya tercemar di kawasan utara Jawa Tengah. Sumber pencemaran di perairan berasal dari limbah industri, limbah pertambangan, limbah pertanian, limbah domestik dan lain-lain. Penurunan kualitas perairan diakibatkan oleh limbah yang mempengaruhi konsentrasi nitrat di perairan sekitar muara. Vegetasi mangrove seluas 76,27 hektar di sepanjang pesisir Desa Morodemak menuju muara juga mempengaruhi kondisi perairan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui distribusi kekeruhan dan konsentrasi nitrat di perairan serta mengetahui hubungan antara kedua parameter tersebut. Data yang digunakan di penelitian ini yaitu arus laut, bathimetri, konsentrasi nitrat, dan kekeruhan. Data diperoleh dari pengambilan data lapangan dan modeling. Tahap pengambilan sampel berlangsung di Musim Peralihan I (Maret 2022). Sebaran nilai konsentrasi nitrat dan kekeruhan dimasukkan pada data peta lokasi untuk selanjutnya dilakukan interpolasi IDW menggunakan aplikasi ArcGIS 10.8. Tingkat kekeruhan dan konsentrasi nitrat masing-masing diketahui dalam kisaran 8,28-40,3 NTU dan 0,018-0,498 mg/L. Distribusi spasial konsentrasi nitrat di perairan Morodemak tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun berlokasi di wilayah muara, dan nilai konsentrasi nitrat rendah didapatkan pada stasiun mengarah ke laut lepas. Koefisien korelasi (r) untuk variabel kekeruhan dan nitrat sebesar 0,924.

Abstract

Effective speaking hinges on confidence and comfort, yet many students grapple with these aspects, often feeling lost and unsure about their abilities. This study investigates the application of Johari Windows to aid first-year English Program students at IAIN Parepare, who commonly encounter challenges in speaking. Our research focuses on two primary questions: How does the Johari Window facilitate students' self-discovery, and how does it contribute to the development of their speaking skills? Adopting a mixed-method approach, this study blends quantitative and qualitative data. We engaged 48 first-year English Program students at IAIN Parepare, utilizing observations, questionnaires, and focus group discussions as our primary data collection tools. Additionally, the data were analyzed using SPSS. Our findings reveal that many students exhibit uncertainty or neutrality in identifying with the characteristics and traits of the 'open self,' highlighting the complexities of self-awareness and the fluid nature of self-perceptions, which vary among individuals. The study also notes differing self-views across various characteristics. Crucially, implementing the Johari Window in speaking skill development, particularly in forum discussion groups, has significantly bolstered students' awareness of their public speaking strengths and weaknesses. This enhanced awareness has been instrumental in their journey toward becoming more confident and effective speakers.
