Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of youth in the development of a tourist village in Mentayan Village and to find out the active and passive roles that influence the role of youth in the development of a tourist village in Mentayan Village. This research uses a qualitative approachthe results are presented descriptively.Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques with the research subjects being village heads, heads of BUMDES, community leaders, chief managers, youth around Mentayan Tourism Village. Source of data using primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used is qualitative analysis with data collection steps, documents, facts in the field and drawing conclusions.The research results obtained in this study are: (1) The role of youth is very important in the development of tourist villages, namely: youth is one of the factors that form tourist villages, youth are the next generation to create new things in tourist villages. the role of youth is very helpful in launching all activities and management in the development of tourist villages. (2) the active role of youth and the passive role of youth in the development of a tourist village, namely: the role of youth in making and managing a tourist village into a good place through beautiful photo spots and a good scenic atmosphere makes the tourist village one of the places that must be visited becausethe beauty and friendliness of youth and the surrounding community, some of the passive roles of youth are too focused on online games. Abstract

The research was conducted in Sosopan Village, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra. With the aim of knowing the history behind the customary process and the meaning of the tradition of slaughtering animals at the event of the death of the Mandailing Batak people in Sosopan Village. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study concluded that the customary process of slaughtering animals at the death ceremony of the Mandailing Batak people in Sosopan Village consisted of several stages, namely, Paboahon (providing grief news information), Makkobar adat (customary deliberations), animal slaughter, mutual cooperation, manariangkon, mangabisi ari, wirid, khotom, mambatu kubur. Then the meaning of the tradition of slaughtering animals at the event of death can be seen from the animals being slaughtered. If the buffalo is slaughtered then it can carry out the customary makkobar for laying the customary title of the person who died to his heirs, can set up a yellow traditional umbrella as a sign of royal descent or symbol of the message of the person who died, if the animal is a ox that is slaughtered then the custom that can be carried out is only establish a traditional umbrella, while for the Goat it can only be a medium for carrying out aqiqah for people who have died. Abstract

This research was conducted by researchers at the Sago Berkah production house, West Banglas Village, Tebing Tinggi District, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau with the aim of knowing the forms of social cohesion or cohesiveness in the relationship between workers and owners of the Sago Berkah production house and its relationship with other businesses around and to find out the derivatives of sago-based food in the Sago Berkah production house. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with census sampling techniques carried out using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation (photos and recording devices) research methods. The reference in this research guide uses the theory of Social Cohesion from Emile Durkheim's figure listed in his thesis entitled "Division of Labor in Society" regarding Social Solidarity and forms of cohesiveness from Forsyth's figure consisting of Social Cohesion, Task Cohesion Perceived Cohesion and Emotional Cohesion. The result of this research is that the relationship between micro, small and medium enterprise workers in the Sago Blessing production house and business owners is included in the form of cohesiveness described by Forsyth. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Rawang Empat Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency. This study aims to find out about the custom of surrender, as well as the differences between same-ethnic and non-ethnic marriage customs and the procedure for determining delivery money at the marriage of the Petalangan Malay people. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with five subjects consisting of three key informants and two subjects. For data collection in this study, namely using observation, interviews and documentation. Petalangan is an indigenous Riau Malay tribe who lives in Pelalawan Regency. The existence of marriage customs in the midst of society cannot be separated from efforts to communicate values, norms or rules that have been agreed upon in traditional marriage ceremonies. The application of customary marriage law is very much needed in indigenous peoples. This aims to maintain the sanctity and continuity of marriage. The Petalangan Malay custom is a combination of the Minangkabau customary system, which is matrilineal, and the Malay customary system, which is patriarchal. Rawang Empat Urban Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency, in this case, is still one of those who adhere to the exogamy marriage system, which requires people to marry people outside their tribe and marrying people from their own tribe is prohibited or in customary terms it is known as same-tribal marriage. Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond between two individuals who love each other and are bound by a legal bond of marriage, but not a few married couples divorce, whether it's a lawsuit for divorce or a lawsuit for divorce. Divorce as a result of poor marital adjustment and occurs when a husband and wife are no longer able to find a solution to a problem that satisfies both parties. At the present time there are many cases of wives suing their husbands for divorce or contesting divorces, this happens because of a change in mindset that occurs in divorce not only husbands have the right to determine divorce but women are also entitled and have the same rights as men. This thought arose not without reason but because there was rational thinking as there was no rationality in the household. Apart from that, in a divorce, there must be a cause, so that in this study it will be examined further about the factors that cause a wife to sue her husband for divorce and how to sue her husband for divorce as a rational choice. This research was conducted in Bina Widya District, Pekanbaru City. The informants in this study were 5 informants. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data namely through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that there are many factors that cause divorce, such as disputes and constant fighting in the household, husbands leaving their wives, and economic factors. Then the wife's choice in suing her husband for divorce is ripe, it can be seen from the wife without hesitation in suing even though she already has children, meaning that the wife is ready to use her power to sue her husband, in accordance with Coleman's theory statement where this theory emphasizes that an individual commits an action which the action will take advantage of. the resources he has to achieve a goal. Abstract

In 2023, FKIP Universitas Khairun has successfully hosted the summit of the Forum Komunikasi (Forkom) FKIP Negeri se-Indonesia which was also enlivened by the implementation of 7 categories of student level competitions. One of the problems faced is the need for publication media and competition administration management. Community service activities were carried out to resolve these problems which included preliminary survey activities, designing a competition microsite that was integrated with Google Drive, mentoring and evaluation. Data on competition participants' responses was collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 30 competition participants. The questionnaire was distributed using Google Forms. The results of the service show that the use of a microsite integrated with Google Drive can provide easy access to competition information and can be used as a medium for documenting competition administration documents so that competition implementation becomes more effective and efficient. In general, competition participants gave very good responses to the implementation of the competition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Riau Kota Pekanbaru. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana budak cinta (bucin) dalam berpacaran dikalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan informan berjumlah 5 orang. Dan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kekuasaan dari Michael foucault. Hasil penelitian dilapangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pertama,  pacaran merupakan sikap batin yang terjalin antara sepasang kekasih yang biasanya terdapat pada kalangan anak muda, sikap ini kemudian dibarengi dengan tingkah laku berduaan, saling memegang dan sebagainya yang terjalin antara lawan jenis sehingga timbul sikap yang romantis untuk membina hubungan yang lebih khusus yang disebut dengan pacaran. Budak Cinta (Bucin) adalah istilah baru yang muncul pada era millennials, terutama di kalangan remaja yang sedang berpacaran. Istilah ini mengacu pada perilaku dalam hubungan sosial antara pasangan laki-laki dan perempuan. Budak cinta ini menggambarkan seseorang yang bersedia melakukan segala hal untuk pasangannya, demi kebahagiaan mereka meskipun merugikan diri sendiri, sebagai bentuk perjuangan cinta yang nyata. Fenomena Bucin ini dirasakan oleh sebagian besar remaja, dan ternyata sudah ada sejak jauh sebelum era modern seperti sekarang. Pacaran dan budak cinta menjadi realitas yang erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan remaja. Kedua, terdapat beberapa proses latar belakang terjadinya pacaran mulai dari pertemuan awal yaitu pandangan, saling tukar media sosial berlanjut pada PDKT an atau pendekatan yang mana pada saat ini terjalin komunikasi yang cukup intens yang biasanya diawali dengan chattingan naik level menjadi telponan, saling tukar kabar dan itu secara terus menerus berlanjut. Dari perasaan tersebut timbulah tindakan tindakan untuk menyenangkan lawan jenisnya sehingga berujung dengan pacaran. Ketiga, terdapat beberapa faktor dan praktik bucin di kalangan mahasiswa. Bucin adalah bentuk tindakan dari pasangan dianggap suatu proses perbudakan yang diantaranya berupa sikap yang harus mematuhi dan dilandasi rasa mengalah supaya tidak dapat kecaman akan terjadinya hal yang tidak dinginkan dalam bentuk marahan, putus dan perkataan kotor lainnya. Sehingga seseorang di anggap bucin ketika dia menganggap itu suatu sikap kepedulian tapi tidak lain hanya suatu perbudakan yang tidak harus terjadi dalam pacaran.

Abstract

Maraknya berbelanja secara online oleh mahasiswa menjadi salah satu alasan dalam penlitian ini. Belanja online telah mengalami pertumbuhan pesat dan menjadi alternatif utama bagi konsumen dibandingkan dengan belanja konvensional di toko fisik. Peralihan ini mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif individu secara signifikan, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Faktor – faktor seperti promosi diskon, gratis ongkir, harga yang lebih murah, cashback, serta pengaruh iklan dari selebriti dan influencer mempengaruhi keputusan belanja online. Selain itu, kemudahan transaksi, aksesibilitas yang tinggi, efisiensi waktu, dan kenyamanan berbelanja tanpa antre turut berkontribusi pada preferensi ini. Pengaruh lingkungan sosial, seperti rekomendasi teman yang sudah berbelanja online, juga berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku konsumtif. Mahasiswa biasanya berbelanja secara online karena kesenangan gaya hidup, bukan karena kebutuhan. Akibatnya, mereka menjadi boros, atau menjadi perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku belanja online (e-commerce) terhadap perilaku konsumtif di kalangan mahasiswa FISIP(Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik) Universitas Riau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuatitatif, dengan melibatkan 100 responden. Adapun teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik Simple Random Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini pengolahan dan menganilis data, menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan software SPSS (Statistical Program for Sosical Science) versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t - hitung > t - tabel yaitu sebesar 50,476 > 1,985 maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa belanja Online berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif.
