Abstract

Bertambahnya jumlah permintaan energi listrik dari tahun ke tahun membuat rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada jaringan juga meningkat luas. kerugian tersebut disebabkan oleh saluran yang lumayan panjang beserta beban yang selalu bertambah,sehingga didalam pembagian daya listrik tersebut akan terjadi jatuh tegangan sepanjang saluran yang dilaluinya. Penelitian ini berkeinginan untuk memahami jatuh tegangan dan dampaknya terhadap pelanggan serta bagaimana cara mengatasinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada jaringan tegangan rendah pada PT. PLN (Persero) Mattoanging dipusatkan pada sebagian gardu distribusi dengan analisa data yang didapatkan di tempat lokasi memakai beberapa persamaan dasar. Data yang dibutuhkan terhadap penelitian ini adalah besar tegangan dari pengiriman sampai tegangan yang sampai kepada pengguna. Dinantikan ditemukannya dari penelitian ini besar jatuh tegangan,penyebab-penyebab jatuh tegangan, serta memperoleh jalan keluar untuk mengurangi jatuh tegangan tersebut.

Abstract

The introduction of the Lontara text that is applied is still conventional in that it comes from books or teaching materials and there is no application for a translator of the Lontara text, making it difficult for students, especially those from outside the Bugis tribe. This research aims to measure the ability and apply the CNN method in the context of introducing the Lontara text. The input that use in this research is words taken from the original text or writing manuscripts of the ancient literature of the Bugis tribe "Sureq Maqkelluqna Nabittaq", a book that was used as a tool to spread Islam in 1611. The model used is the VGG-16 architecture. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method which is used to create products and test their level of effectiveness. As for the research results obtained, the system accuracy obtained in classifying the Lontara text using the VGG16 architecture was 97,65%. In addition, the system is also able to display the translation of the Lontara text according to the database input.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya perlindungan sistem kelistrikan untuk menjamin kelangsungan operasional yang tinggi dalam konteks pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pesat. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan energi listrik, PLN perlu menjamin pasokan listrik yang stabil dan berkesinambungan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dan industri. Faktor-faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan ketika memastikan keselamatan pusat beban dan pembangkit listrik meliputi keandalan sistem, pemeliharaan peralatan, dan respons cepat terhadap kegagalan. Melalui pemantauan yang cermat, perencanaan yang matang, dan penerapan teknologi canggih pada sistem ketenagalistrikan, PLN dapat memastikan kemampuan pasokan listrik sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, menjamin keamanan sistem kelistrikan merupakan kunci terpenting untuk menjaga stabilitas dan keandalan pasokan listrik kepada seluruh pengguna.

Abstract

The Indonesian government issued a regulation through the Ministry of Education and Culture, number 51 of 2018, which contains zoning rules to improve the quality of education in school educational institutions. This research aims to compare the performance of the k-means algorithm with the constrained k-means algorithm to model the zoning of each school area based on the shortest distance parameter between the school location and the domicile of prospective students. The study used data from 2,248 prospective students and 22 public school locations. The results of testing the k-means algorithm in grouping showed the formation of non-circular patterns in the cluster membership with different numbers of centroid cluster members. In contrast, testing the constrained k-means algorithm showed balanced outcomes in cluster membership with a membership value of 103 for each school as the cluster center. The research findings state that the developed constrained k-means algorithm solves the problem of unbalanced data clustering and overlapping issues in the process of new student admissions. In other words, the constrained k-means algorithm can be a reference for the government in making decisions on new student admissions.

Abstract

Hydroponic plant cultivation refers to a method of cultivating plants that eliminates the use of soil as a growth medium. The present system possesses several notable benefits, including its ability to operate within a limited land area and the superior performance of hydroponic cultivation compared to conventional growing methods. This approach aligns with the concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2, which aims to ensure global food security. This public service aims to provide an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled hydroponic production system that utilizes computer vision technology to regulate the provision of nutrients to plants based on their development rate. This technique is applicable to those in the general population who possess restricted land resources. Further, we aim to engage in community socialization around the hydroponic system while also offering insights into the newest advancements in information system technology applicable to hydroponics. We facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills within the community as a whole, with a specific focus on the students at PPMI Shohwatul Is'ad to equip them with the necessary expertise to effectively implement hydroponic plants and the latest information system technology for the purpose of monitoring.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago with most of its territory in rural areas that have a lot of potential to develop, including its natural potential, cultural potential, and community potential. These potentials can be developed to improve the regional economy and ideal productivity. Of course, infrastructure such as IT and communication facilities and human resources must support this. Ekatiro Village, located in Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province, is one of the villages that has natural and cultural tourism potential that can be improved by utilizing technology. The method used to obtain information on the tourism and cultural potential of Ekatiro Village is a case study and data analysis. Starting from document searches, surveys and interviews of UMKM actors, and documentation of tourist destinations. This document search was carried out together with Ekatiro Village officials and the search for potential tourist destinations was carried out by direct search in the Ekatiro Village area. The results of the discussion showed that there is a lot of potential to improve the regional economy with the use of this village information and management system. Furthermore, the website of Ekatiro Village was created using PHP, Javascript, Laravel, and CSS programming languages. Keywords: Information Systems; Local UMKM; Regional Economy; Tourist Destinations; Utilization of Technology. As well as socialization and training on the use of website information systems so that participants get a lot of convenience in terms of accessing the Ekatiro Village information system. One of the objectives of creating an information and management system for Ekatiro Village is to improve the welfare of the village community, empower partner village communities to be more productive, and apply digital information technology to services and general information on tourism and local UMKM.

Abstract

This research proposes an innovative approach that combines graph theory with spatial data to model surface water flow with the Single Flow Direction (SFD) concept, also known as the D8 algorithm. The objective is to show the water flow from the ground surface to a lower place. The research methodology involves collecting spatial data from the Digital Elevation Model (DEMNAS) in raster data type format. Test results show that the effectiveness of the graph approach in modeling water flow can produce clear flow output. This happens because each pixel traversed by water is connected by a line that forms a well-defined water flow path. This study significantly stimulates the development of more sophisticated modeling tools and practical applications in the future. This can help in more efficient management of water resources or produce more accurate flow modeling, contributing to improved understanding and better management of the environment.

Abstract

Motor induksi memiliki peran vital dalam industri di Indonesia, berkat konstruksinya yang sederhana, harga yang relatif murah, dan kemampuannya menjaga kontinuitas produksi. Namun, motor ini sering menghadapi masalah seperti beban lebih, gangguan hubung singkat, dan overheating, yang dapat merusak motor serta mengganggu operasional industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas sistem proteksi pada motor induksi tiga fasa dan mengembangkan strategi proteksi yang lebih optimal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi serta tinjauan pustaka, yang dianalisis dengan membandingkan teori dan standar industri. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa meskipun peralatan proteksi seperti fuse, MICCB, TIOR, CT, dan RITD digunakan, kerap kali mereka tidak berfungsi optimal karena pemilihan tipe dan rating yang kurang sesuai dengan kapasitas nominal motor. Disarankan agar tipe dan rating peralatan proteksi disesuaikan dengan kapasitas motor, serta dilakukan pemeriksaan, pembersihan, dan kalibrasi ulang secara teratur untuk menjaga efektivitas proteksi. Dengan penerapan sistem proteksi yang tepat dan pemeliharaan yang baik, motor induksi tiga fasa diharapkan dapat beroperasi optimal dan mendukung kelancaran produksi dalam industri.

Abstract

The INS Cooperative, which is located in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi Province, has 11 MSMEs that collaborate with this cooperative. However, the low digital literacy of business actors in the INS Cooperative in managing and marketing their products means that the Cooperative's performance is less than optimal. The solution to overcome the problems faced is through modernization in terms of cooperative management to the concept of product marketing. The method used is a website-based information system modeling method and outreach and training to business actors, INS Cooperative managers and local communities who then carry out a survey. The survey was conducted with 11 business actors who are members of the INS Cooperative and 10 managers and communities who are members of the INS Cooperative to measure respondents' responses and to measure the level of success of the service carried out. As many as 76% of respondents initially did not understand the use of the cooperative website, but after socialization and training, 85% showed an increase in understanding of the use of the website. The level of difficulty in accessing information via the website also decreased significantly after the program was completed. The socialization and training carried out as a form of community service succeeded in increasing the digital literacy of business actors, the community and INS Cooperative managers, especially in using websites for cooperative operations. This program is also effective in reducing barriers to information access, significantly supporting the digital transformation of cooperatives.

Abstract

This research presents a method for regulating varying voltage as a DC source in a six-step commutation brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive through control proportional integral derivative (PID) as a simple strategy for controlling the speed of BLDC motors. Strengthening the control gain uses the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm by minimizing the root mean square error (RMSE) and overshoot as fitness control characteristics. The performance of the motor with the proposed controller is analyzed and compared with an experimentally-simulated-tuned PID, hybrid gray wolf optimization–proportional integral (GWO-PI), and hybrid horse herd PSO-PID (HHH PSO-PID) under changing load and speed conditions. Simulation using compose-psim altair software. Control system response parameters such as RMSE, overshoot, electromagnetic torque ripple, and phase current ripple are measured and compared with the above controllers. The results show that the proposed controller is superior to a wide range of predefined system responses.
