Abstract

This study explores auditors' understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in audit engagements, aiming to elucidate the complexities and challenges faced in evaluating CSR-related disclosures. The research investigates auditors' comprehension of CSR concepts, challenges encountered in auditing CSR disclosures, the influence of organizational culture, reliance on regulatory frameworks, and the necessity for continuous professional development. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, data was gathered through interviews and literature reviews. Findings reveal a spectrum of understanding among auditors, influenced by factors such as education, training, and organizational culture. Challenges in auditing CSR disclosures include the subjective nature of CSR reporting, lack of standardized frameworks, and difficulties in assessing reliability. Organizational culture significantly shapes auditors' approaches, with ethical cultures prioritizing CSR considerations. Auditors rely on regulatory frameworks, particularly International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), yet face challenges in their application to CSR assurance. Continuous professional development emerges as crucial for enhancing auditors' competencies in auditing CSR activities. This study contributes to understanding the dynamics of CSR auditing, highlighting the importance of addressing challenges and promoting a culture of accountability and sustainability within audit firms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang peran birokrasi terhadap kualitas pelayanan dalam rangka reformasi birokrasi dan faktor – faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik Pelayanan yang merupakan salah satu indikator reformasi birokrasi dalam mewujudkan good governance. Pelayanan merupakan program peningkatan mutu pelayanan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang bermutu sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan memberikan pertanyaan yang berupa kuisioner kepada pegawai Pemerintah Kota Palangka Raya, sedangkan Teknis Analisis Data menggunakan Analisis Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur sudah terlaksana namun di pelaksanaannya masih terdapat kendala yaitu belum meratanya kualitas sumber daya aparatur, tidak ada penerapan peraturan pembatasan dalam penyederhanaan SOP, dan pembatasan dalam operasionalisasi sarana prasarana pelayanan, saran yang dapat dilakukan adalah perbaikan tata tertib administrasi, mengikuti pelatihan prosedur pelayanan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pelayanan dan dibuatnya untuk SOP pelayanan, peningkatan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait tata cara dan program pelayanan kepegawaian, memberikan penghargaan kepada pegawai yang berkinerja baik, dan pembinaan pegawai untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan kesadaran karyawan sebagai masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk perubahan sosial pada masyarakat lokal, akibat interaksi yang terjadi dengan wisatawan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengarui perubahan sosial pada masyarakat akibat interaksi masyarakat lokal dengan wisatawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan adapun lokasi penelitian yaitu di Sei Gohong Kota Palangka Raya. Teknik pengambilan sampling yaitu dengan cara menentukan karakteristik sendiri (purposive sampling) dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu yang menjadi bentuk perubahan sosial di Sei Gohong adalah Perubahan secara kecil yang tidak membawa pengaruh langsung / berarti bagi masyarakat seperti perubahan gaya berbusana/pakaian pada masyarakatnya yang sudah mulai mengikuti trend, tapi masih saja mempertahankan kebudayaannya. Dan yang menjadi Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan sosial di Sei Gohong yaitu dengan adanya pendidikan formal yang sudah maju pada masyarakat membuat pola pikir masyarakat juga sudah maju, dilihat dari cara masyarakat menyelesaikan konflik yang tidak lagi menggunakan cara main hakim sendiri, melainkan menyelesaikan masalah/konflik dengan cara musyawarah atau dengan mediasi yang menunjuk orang ketiga sebagai penengah

Abstract

Pelayanan administrasi publik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pemerintahan yang berdampak langsung pada kualitas hidup masyarakat. Di Kota Palangka Raya, evaluasi kinerja birokrasi pemerintah dalam memberikan layanan administrasi publik menjadi sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis persepsi pengguna layanan terhadap kinerja birokrasi pemerintah, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data dari pengguna layanan di berbagai instansi pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sejumlah tantangan yang dihadapi birokrasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, termasuk kurangnya transparansi, efisiensi, dan responsivitas. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah daerah dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih baik di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Previous research on school wellbeing has highlighted the need for its implementation in schools. This research aims to uncover two elements influencing school well-being: self-determination and patience. This study used quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study was 672 students of classes X, XI, and XII at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. The sampling technique employed in this study was cluster-random sampling with a sample of 178 students. The results showed an F-value of 27.182 with an absolute significance level (p-value) of 0.01, so the major hypothesis was accepted. The self-determination and patience variables simultaneously (together) could affect school well-being. The effect of self-determination on school well-being was 20%, while patience only contributed 3.67%. This research revealed (1) there was a positive influence of self-determination and patience on the well-being of vocational school students, (2) there was a positive effect of partial self-determination on school well-being, meaning that partial self-determination could predict school well-being, and (3) there was no partial positive effect of patience on school well-being, indicating that partial patience could not predict school well-being.

Abstract

According to the Badan Pusat Statistik data in 2018, the total area of oil palm plantations in Indonesia currently reaches around 12.3 million hectares. Solid waste is the most waste, which is around 35-40% of the total Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) which is processed in the form of empty fruit bunches, fiber, fruit shells, and burnt ash. PT. Hasnur Citra Terpadu in Rantau, Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan is one of the Palm Oil Mill which in the combustion process of a boiler engine using oil palm shells and fibers is burned simultaneously. The result of the combustion process produces waste in the form of boiler crust ash which is fine textured (fly ash) and coarse textured (bottom ash). This study uses fly ash as a cement substitution for concrete mixtures. The making of mortar specimens was varied with fly ash with a percentage of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% which will be tested for compressive strength at the age of 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days. Then the making of concrete specimens is planned with a quality of 25 MPa and the concrete compressive strength is tested at the age of 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 28 days and 56 days and the split tensile strength test of the concrete at 28 days. Based on the results of the mortar compressive strength analysis, the optimum mixture of fly ash is 10% which is used for making concrete. The average compressive strength of normal concrete at 28 days is 26.33 MPa and the compressive strength of concrete with 10% fly ash (optimum concrete) is 26.14 MPa exceeding the design compressive strength of 25 MPa. Based on the results of the split tensile strength test of concrete at the age of 28 days, it was obtained 3,914 MPa for normal concrete and 3,466 MPa for optimum concrete.
