Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of agricultural extension workers in the Matuari Farmer Group, Paniki Bawah Village, Mapanget District, Manado City. The sampling method in this study is the total sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive. The results showed that the role of agricultural extension workers in the Matuari Farmer Group, Paniki Bawah Sub-District, Manado City based on five roles, namely, the role of extension workers as facilitators was categorized as having a moderate role with a score of 40%, the role of extension workers as innovators was categorized as having a less role with a score of 20%, the role of extension workers as educators was categorized as sufficient. played a role with a score of 43%, the role of the extension worker as a motivator was categorized as having a very important role with a score of 80%, and the role of the extension worker as a catalyst was categorized as a very important role with a score of 100%, the role of agricultural extension agents in the Matuari Farmer Group obtained an overall score of 56.5% with a moderate role category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of consumer satisfaction with products, prices, places, promotions and services. The research was carried out from May to July 2023. The data collection method used was primary and secondary data. Respondents in this study consisted of 42 people who were selected using accidental sampling techniques. Data was measured using a Likert scale, then analyzed using the Consumer Satisfaction Index. The research results show that Kairos Cafe's consumer satisfaction level is classified as very satisfied with a consumer satisfaction index of 86.00%. More specifically for each aspect, the level of satisfaction with the product is 86.50%, price is 86.66%, place is 87.14%, promotion is 84.76%, and service is 85.07% which are classified as very satisfied.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the characteristics of traders in Bersehati Market, Manado City. The research was conducted for three months from October to December 2022 from preparation to preparation of research reports. The research place is Bersehati Market, Manado City. The data collection method used in this research is primary data obtained from the research field, namely to fruit traders in Bersehati Market, Manado City by direct interview to traders using a list of questions (questionnaire). Secondary data obtained from the market office, literature and journals related to the research. The research sampling method used purposive sampling technique to fruit traders in Bersehati Market, Manado City which was taken as many as 15 respondents. The data analysis method used in the study used qualitative analysis. The results showed that the characteristics of fruit traders in Pasar Bersehati Manado City included traders aged between 21 years and 60 years, the gender of fruit traders was dominated by female traders, the last education of fruit traders was elementary school (SD) to senior high school (SMA) and equivalent, the number of dependents owned by traders was 1 to 5 family members, the capital of fruit traders varied from Rp1,000,000 to more than Rp3,000,000. The working hours of fruit traders vary from 10 working hours to 16 working hours, and the trading experience of fruit traders ranges from 1 year of work experience to the longest 30 years of work experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profitability of Stevia sweetson tea MSMEs. This research was conducted from June to July 2023. Respondent selection was carried out using the survey method. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected through interviews with Stevia sweetson tea MSME business actors and the UNSRAT Student Creativity Program team. Secondary data were obtained from the Hukum Tua and the Sonder District Office, Minahasa Regency. Secondary data was also obtained from the internet through google scholar in the form of books, journal articles and theses related to the topic of this research, namely the profit analysis of Stevia sweetson tea MSMEs. The results showed that the profit obtained by Stevia swetetson tea MSMEs within three months on a land area of seventy square meters (70 m2) was IDR 3,786,339 with a total production of 15.1 kg of dried Stevia and fixed costs of IDR 34,343 total variable costs of IDR 2,219,318 and revenue of IDR 6,040,000. The calculation of the R / C ratio obtained is 2.7, this shows that every 1 rupiah spent is obtained 2.7 revenue. It is stated that it is greater than one (R / C> 1), which means that the Stevia sweetson tea MSMEs in Kolongan Atas II Village, Sonder District are economically profitable.*eprm*

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the contribution of the palm sugar business to family income in Kalatin Hamlet, North Lowu Village, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out for three months from January 2023 to March 2023 in Kalatin Hamlet, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The sampling method in this research was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling), where the number of palm sugar processors sampled was 3 out of 15 respondents. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis to analyze data by presenting, managing, describing and interpreting research results with words and sentences to answer the research objectives. The research results show that the palm sugar business contributes 78.08% to family income. The contribution of the palm sugar business to family income in Kalatin Hamlet, North Lowu District, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency is categorized as very large because the value is >50%. The average income of palm sugar processors is IDR 712,620 per week from the sale of an average of 30 pieces of palm sugar at a price of IDR 12,000 per piece and the wife's total income is IDR 200,000 per week. The total family income earned by palm sugar processors in Kalatin Hamlet, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency amounts to IDR 912,620.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of agricultural extension officers in the development of Maize farmer groups in Warembungan Village, Pineleng District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months, starting from September to November 2023. The research was conducted in Warembungan Village, Pineleng District, Minahasa Regency. Data collection methods were carried out using primary data obtained by direct interview to the respondents, using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from agencies related to the research as well as various literature in accordance with the research objectives. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The sample size was 15 respondents who were the head and members of the Werot Farmer Group. Warembungan Village has 6 Farmer Groups, but there is only 1 active Farmer Group, namely the Werot Farmer Group. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis using Likert scale measurements. The results showed that the level of the role of extension workers as motivators, dynamicators, facilitators, innovators, educators, and developers of farmer groups in Warembungan Village, Pineleng Subdistrict, Minahasa Regency was classified in the moderate category, with an average value of 55.38 percent.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profits of palm sugar business in Wanga Village, East Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out from November 2020 to May 2021. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely 10 respondents from 287 palm sugar farmers in Wanga Village. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis, namely business profit analysis. The results showed that the large profits and R/C value obtained by all palm sugar processors when calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experienced losses. Meanwhile, if it is not calculated with raw materials and labor, processors experience large profits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine consumer perceptions of typical Manado at Miens Souvenir during the pandemic Covid-19. The study was conducted from September 2020 to May 2021. The data used in this study is primary data, namely data collection through media online with a google form to respondents who have shopped for souvenirs typical of Manado with 30 samples of respondents. Secondary data were obtained owners from Miens Souvenir and literature related to this research. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis based on the Likert Scale. The results showed that from the attributes of shopping convenience, product, price, physical place of business, and service quality to the five factors that tended to influence it, they were included in the category of strongly agree (41.1%), agree (47.0%), neutral (10.2%), disagree (0.5%), while strongly disagree (1.0%). From the category of strongly agree, the ease of shopping attribute ranks first (46.7%), followed by service attributes (43.2%), price attributes (41.0%), product attributes (38.4%), and final position attributes physical place of business (36.2%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of coconut farmers in Beo Timur Sub district, Beo District, Talaud Regency. The research was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022, The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the coconut farmers in Beo Timur Sub District had an average age of 47 years (81.48 percent). Most coconut farmers have an education level of highscool and Bachelor's as many as 11 people or 40.74 percent. With 5 years of farming experience (59 percent). Coconut farmers have other jobs, namely as fishermen, carpenters and coolies (48 percent), civil servants, shop entrepreneurs, credit counters, motorcycle taxis. Coconut plantations are mostly planted with other crops, namely cloves and nutmeg (67 percent). Some coconut farmers plant rambutan and durian trees as well as seasonal crops such as cassava and chilies.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the priority risks in carrot farming in Rurukan Village, East Tomohon District, Tomohon City. This research was conducted for four months from October 2023 to January 2024, located in Rurukan Village, East Tomohon District, Tomohon City. The data collection method used in this study was the survey method. Data were obtained from direct interviews with carrot farmers, by asking questions in the form of a prepared questionnaire. Supported by data obtained from the Tomohon City Agriculture Office, Tomohon City Central Bureau of Statistics, and Rurukan Village Office. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method to farmers who grow carrots until the last planting season in 2023. The sample in this study were carrot farmers in Rurukan Village with a total of 10 respondents (farmers). The analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The data obtained were identified and then processed with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) analysis tools to assess the risks that could potentially arise. The results showed that the risk analysis of carrot farming in Rurukan Village, East Tomohon Subdistrict, Tomohon City showed that there were four potential failures that became risk priorities, namely the long dry season, pest attacks, high rainfall, price fluctuations. The results of the assessment based on FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) analysis show that farmers are not maximizing their efforts in handling the risks that occur in carrot farming.
