Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan isi materi buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII, khususnya pada Bab II yang berfokus pada keterampilan berbicara. Peneliti menggunakan metode dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dengan cara menelaah isi buku teks secara sistematis, serta melakukan kajian kurikulum untuk membandingkan materi dengan standar kompetensi lulusan dan kompetensi dasar yang berlaku. Selain itu, observasi teks digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen penting dalam materi berbicara, seperti relevansi isi dan metode penyajian yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni isi atau materi sesuai dengan kurikulum Bahasa Indonesia untuk SMP karena mengembangkan keterampilan membaca, berdiskusi, dan berbicara siswa melalui berbagai teks yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, serta mendukung penguasaan teks fungsional, berpikir kritis, komunikasi efektif, dan kreativitas siswa melalui aktivitas interaktif, meskipun tantangan bagi siswa yang belum terbiasa dengan metode berbasis proyek dapat diatasi dengan dukungan guru.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of positive discipline as an approach to creating child-friendly schools in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research aims to identify effective strategies for implementing positive discipline to enhance a supportive learning environment for the holistic development of children in schools, as well as its successes and challenges. The research method used is qualitative study with a descriptive analytical approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers and principals, as well as analysis of school policy documents and curriculum. The results show that the implementation of positive discipline in the Merdeka Curriculum can help create an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive school culture that promotes the social-emotional development of children despite challenges in its implementation. This article provides insights into the importance of positive discipline approaches in creating child-friendly schools and offers recommendations for the development of more supportive practices and policies at the school level.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning that keeps up with the times can be realized through the use of internet-based technology media. Technology-based media will maximize the targets of Indonesian language learning. Many learning platforms can be applied in learning Indonesian, some are paid and some are free. One of the applications that can be used in learning Indonesian is Wordwall. In this study, Wordwall is applied in Indonesian language learning on the material of observation report texts in high school. The subjects of this research are 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Pademawu. This research is in the form of classroom action research. The research results show that the students' success rate in mastering observation report texts at the pre-cycle stage was 42.8%, at the cycle I stage was 64%, and at the cycle II stage was 85.7%. This indicates an increase in the graph of students' mastery of observation report text material after using Wordwall as a learning medium. There are still several obstacles in the use of that media, namely network issues and students' concentration not yet improving to the maximum.

Abstract

The present curriculum emphasizes contextual learning, which can be used to shape a generation that appreciates the environment and develops character based on ecological principles. The purpose of this study is to describe the innovation of implementing Madurese local wisdom eco-curriculum at Pamekasan Middle School. This study uses a qualitative research method. The data sources for this study were 4 principals of Pamekasan Middle Schools, the deputy head of curriculum, teachers, and students. The research data were in the form of observation results, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) the preparation of an independent curriculum with Madurese local wisdom integrated with environmental values ​​at Palengaan 2 Middle School, Larangan 1 Middle School, Pameksan 4 Middle School, and Gro’om Middle School, which includes a series of systematic and planned steps, starting from learning planning to developing teaching modules. Awareness of the importance of protecting the environment can be instilled through a learning approach that is relevant to the local context. All activities are designed by considering the Learning Components, Learning Objectives, and Learning Tools. The challenges faced are very diverse and complex, covering various aspects that affect the effectiveness of curriculum implementation. The potential of the Merdeka Curriculum with Madura's local wisdom in creating a generation that cares about the environment is significant. This is reflected through cultural values, which are needed to become agents of change who are committed to environmental conservation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation, success factors, and impacts of character education that influences Madurese local as an understanding of ecology in the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is qualitative with a collective case study approach. The locations are SMPN 1 Larangan, SMPN 4 Pamekasan, SMPN 2 Palengaan, and SMPN Satu Atap Pengantin Pria. Data sources are the principal, curriculum vice principal, teachers, and students. Data collection through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis techniques are data collection, coding, organizing, verification, conclusions, and triangulation. The results of the study indicate that character education in the Independent Curriculum can be implemented through various subjects and extracurricular activities. Students can integrate Madurese cultural values ​​and have mutual symbiosis with the surrounding natural environment so as to foster awareness of the environment and recognize cultural identity. Success is influenced by teacher competence, sufficient resources, parental and community support, termination of doctrine, classroom management, utilization of the surrounding environment as a learning resource, and continuous evaluation. This innovation has an impact on increasing social values, creativity, cultural pride, environmental awareness, and students' ability to think in solutions to ecological and cultural issues.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has had a substantial impact on the field of education, particularly in the strategies used by educators to deliver material in the classroom. This research aims to analyze and explain how interactive animation-based videos are used in news text learning for 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Galis. The method applied is descriptive qualitative. data collection techniques thru observation and interviews at that school. Data sources include eleventh-grade students, Indonesian language teachers, and journal and book references. The research results show that the use of interactive animated video media is very effective in increasing students' enthusiasm and learning outcomes. This is because the teacher implemented several steps to maximize the use of this media in learning activities. The use of interactive animated videos in teaching news text also indirectly contributes to strengthening students' listening, speaking, and writing abilities. Therefore, this medium has a significant positive impact on learning news text among eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Galis.
