Abstract

Abstract: At the kindergarten, learning is based on 6 aspects in the form of physical, motor, emotional, social, artistic, moral, cognitive and language aspects. One way to realize this is by making batik. There are various techniques on how to make batik, according to the service team, jumputan batik is the most appropriate one to use. Jumputan batik art can improve and develop children's fine motor skills. Steps taken by hands-on practice of making jumputan batik. In general, the service team provides theories to gain insight and knowledge about the art of batik, especially the jumputan batik technique and various jumputan batik motifs that can be formed. The next step, all partisipan divided the participants into small groups, each group of 5 teachers and accompanied by 1 service team. The practice was carried out independently, then the service team asked each group to present their work and explain the jumputan technique of picking them up so that the motif was formed. The final activity is an evaluation. In general, this service activity went smoothly in accordance with the expectations of the service team.Abstrak: Pada masa taman kanak-kanak, pembelajaran didasarkan pada 6 aspek yang berupa aspek fisik motorik, emosi, sosial, seni, moral, kognitif dan bahasa. Salah satu cara untuk merealisasikan hal tersebut adalah dengan membatik. Terdapat bermacam-macam Teknik cara membatik, menurut tim pengabdi batik jumputan adalah yang paling tepat digunakan. Seni membatik jumputan dapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak. Langkah yang dilakukan dengan praktik secara langsung membuat batik jumputan. Secara umum tim pengabdi memberikan teori guna menambah wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan tentang seni membatik terutama teknik batik jumputan serta beragam motif batik jumputan yang dapat dibentuk. Langkah selanjutnya tim membagi peserta ke dalam kelompok-kelompok kecil, setiap kelompok 5 orang guru dan didampingi oleh 1 orang tim pengabdi. Praktik secara mandiri dilakukan, kemudian tim pengabdi meminta setiap kelompok untuk mempresentasikan hasil karyanya serta menjelaskan Teknik menjumputnya sehingga terbentuk motif tersebut. Kegiatan akhir berupa evaluasi. Secara umum kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan harapan tim pengabdi.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was carried out on the basis of the awareness of the devotees who were moved by their enthusiasm for the people of the Rapah Ombo hamlet. This activity is a unique activity that has never existed in the village so that residents and children are very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. This activity was carried out in the hamlet of Rapah Ombo which is a partner in this service activity, which is one of the hamlets left behind in Jombang Regency because of the difficulty of road access to Dusun Rapah Ombo. This activity is carried out through the Community Learning method or learning community known as the People's School with a Super Camp approach which is a more familiar designation in the ears of the Rapah Ombo community. The results of this study are community service which has been carried out by 60 participants who were divided into 12 groups, each group of 5 people, each group prepared 1 tent, the participants took part in this activity until the end which was closed in the morning with outbound activities and distribution. gifts as an appreciation for their enthusiasm for participating in this activity. This activity is important to continue because it has made the people of the rapah ombo hamlet go viral because it has changed the civilization that initially studied only indoors, now becomes more enthusiastic because they can learn while playing with a tent as a place for them to take shelter.Keywords: People's School, Super Camp, Rapah OmboAbstrak: Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar kesadaran dari pengabdi sebagai pemerhati keilmuan yang tergugah semangatnya kepada masyarakat dusun Rapah Ombo kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan unik yang belum pernah ada di desa tersebut sehingga warga dan anak -anak sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini di laksanakan di dusun rapah ombo yang merupakan mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, merupakan salah satu dusun yang tertinggal di Kabupaten Jombang sulitnya akses jalan menuju Dusun Rapah Ombo. Kegiatan ini di lakukan melalui metode learning Community atau masyarakat belajar yag di kenal dengan sebutan Sekolah Rakyat dengan pendekatan Super camp yang merupakan sebutan yang lebih femilier di telinga ,masyarakat rapah ombo. Adapun hasil dari Pengabdian ini adalah Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah di lakukan 60 peserta yang di bagi menjadi 12 kelompok setiap kelompok ada 5 orang yang setiap kelompok di siapkan 1 tenda, para peserta mengikuti kegiatan ini hingga selesai yang pagi nya di tutup dengan kegiatan outbond dan pembagian hadiah sebagai apresiasi atas semangat mereka mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini penting untuk terus diadakan karena menjadikan masyarakat dusun rapah ombo menjadi viral karena mengubah peradaban yang awalnya belajar hanya dalam ruangan sekarang menjadi lebih semangat karena bisa belajar sambil bermain dengan tenda sebagai tempat mereka berteduh.Kata kunci: Sekolah Rakyat, Super Camp, Rapah Ombo

Abstract

This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the application of differentiated learning and its impact on the development of students' collaborative skills. The research method used is qualitative and a descriptive approach. The research subjects or informants were all fourth-grade students of Elementary School (SDN) Berbek Nganjuk. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of differentiated learning in social studies as an effort to develop the collaborative skills of fourth-grade students of SDN Berbek has a role in developing students' collaborative skills. Supported by research results that show developments from the first meeting to the second meeting. It was found that more than half of the number of students fell into the collaborative category, then less than half of the number of students fell into the very collaborative category, and a small number of students fell into the fairly collaborative category. The most visible development was when improvements in interaction and collaboration between students during learning illustrated that the application of differentiated learning had a direct positive impact on the development of their social skills as well

Abstract

The era is so sophisticated, information is developing rapidly, of course accompanied by side effects, namely moral decline, thus the researchers take a solution attitude. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the application of the TRECB model. Information Gathering, Planning, developing initial product forms, initial field tests, main product revisions, main field tests, operational product revisions, operational field tests, final product revisions, and dissemination and implementation of the results of the research from 7 schools the researchers visited 60% that is 4 schools have implemented character education, then 3 schools still have not used the right method in its implementation so researchers found an effective formula in formulating the TRECB model character education with 4P+1i services namely introduction, practice, repetition, habituation , and internalization, research results this is the realization of a significant change of 80% to the realization of an internalized character profile in students, character habituation has begun to cultivate the essence of children who are consciously carrying out good behavior, so that it can be concluded that the idea of developing the TRECBEducational Model is a solution to reflect better changes in student character elementary school that we desire without any coercion the students carry out good character habituation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a multicultural-based Flipbook Digital Storytelling to enhance speaking skills and intercultural social tolerance among third-grade elementary school students. The needs analysis conducted at SDN 017 Penajam revealed that students lacked confidence in speaking, the use of digital media was still low, and learning remained focused on textbooks. In addition, misunderstandings frequently occurred in intercultural interactions. Therefore, an interactive learning media that integrates multicultural values, audio, visuals, and narrative elements is urgently needed. This study involved 96 third-grade students and employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model. Data were collected through speaking skill tests, social tolerance scales, observations, interviews, and expert validations. Data analysis included qualitative analysis, validity, practicality, and effectiveness assessments. The findings indicate that the developed media is highly valid (material expert = 3.57; language expert = 3.41; media expert = 3.60). It is also highly practical, as shown by teacher responses (92%), student responses (89%), and classroom observations (85%). Speaking skills improved from 63 to 83, while social tolerance increased from 68% to 84%, with an N-Gain score of 0.47. Thus, the multicultural- based Flipbook Digital Storytelling has been proven valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ speaking abilities as well as fostering appreciation and tolerance toward cultural diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Kindness Corner and analyze its contribution in improving positive behavior of elementary school students. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with observation and documentation techniques that were carried out for one month in grades III A and III B. Initial observations showed that some students were not accustomed to writing down the positive actions they did, so that a habituation media was needed that could help students recognize and practice good behavior in a more directed manner. Data were analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed an increase in student participation in recording good actions, as seen from the increase in the number of checkmarks in the kindness journal between October and November. Students also showed increased enthusiasm for writing daily acts of kindness and began to understand the importance of their positive actions. Furthermore, students began to demonstrate positive behaviors more regularly in their daily classroom activities, such as helping friends, maintaining cleanliness, obeying rules, and showing concern for the learning environment. Through independent recording activities, students had the opportunity to engage in simple reflection on their behavior. These findings suggest that the Kindness Corner can be an effective visual medium for supporting the development of good behavior in elementary school students and helping strengthen character development through simple, structured, and easily implemented activities in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of singing national and regional songs through the Irama Negeri program as a strategy to enhance the patriotism of elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining interest and appreciation of students towards national songs and limited appreciation of regional songs, especially amid the trend of digital popular culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation involving upper grade teachers, lower grade teachers, and student representatives from each class. The results show that the habit of singing national and regional songs can be an effective means of instilling the value of love for the country if done consistently and supported by creative learning methods. Teachers play an important role in integrating the meaning of songs through storytelling, visualization, and collaborative activities so that students are able to understand the value of patriotism in concrete terms. Structural support from schools in the form of regular schedules, song guides, and the provision of learning media are important factors in the success of the program. Thus, singing activities can be a strategic instrument in strengthening students' national character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) through the use of a Smart Box Pancasila to improve the literacy skills of Grade I students at SDN Karangmojo 2. The research was conducted based on the low level of early literacy skills and the limited availability of attractive learning media that align with the developmental characteristics of young learners. This study employed a two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with 16 students as research subjects. Data were collected through literacy tests, observation sheets, and documentation during learning activities. The findings indicate that the Smart Box which consists of colorful interactive panels, illustrated cards, Pancasila value pockets, and question panels significantly enhances students’ engagement, interest, and reading abilities. Improvements were evident in students’ ability to recognize letters, read simple words, understand pictures, and read short sentences. Initially, only a small number of students were able to read two-syllable words and interpret visual information; however, by the end of Cycle II, 100% of students could consistently recognize letters, 93.7% were able to read simple words, and 87.5% were able to read short sentences and explain the meaning of the text independently. The study concludes that the Smart Box is an effective literacy medium, as it provides concrete, multisensory, and interactive learning experiences suited to the cognitive development of lower-grade elementary students. This medium is recommended as an alternative GLS support tool to strengthen early literacy learning in primary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media buku cerita bergambar interaktif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan kemampuan mengomunikasikan bacaan siswa sekolah dasar. Permasalahan awal menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan memahami ide pokok, informasi rinci, dan alur cerita, serta belum mampu menyampaikan kembali isi bacaan secara runtut dan ekspresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest–posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol, melibatkan 25 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 016 Sepaku. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes membaca pemahaman dan rubrik penilaian kemampuan mengomunikasikan bacaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang sangat signifikan pada kedua kemampuan setelah penggunaan media interaktif. Nilai rata-rata membaca pemahaman meningkat dari 58,40 menjadi 82,60, sedangkan kemampuan mengomunikasikan bacaan meningkat dari 55,20 menjadi 80,40. Uji t berpasangan memperkuat hasil tersebut dengan nilai t-hitung 12,87 untuk membaca pemahaman dan 13,54 untuk kemampuan mengomunikasikan bacaan, serta nilai p < 0,05 pada kedua variabel. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan buku cerita bergambar interaktif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa. Secara keseluruhan, media buku cerita bergambar interaktif terbukti efektif sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang mampu memperkuat pemahaman teks sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan verbal siswa dalam menyampaikan kembali isi bacaan. Media ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif bagi guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran literasi di sekolah dasar.
