Abstract

Linggasari Village is one of the villages located in Kembaran sub-district, Banyumas district, Central Java. Agriculture in Linggasari Village is quite advanced, especially in the Bengkuang commodity which is an icon of the Linggasari village. The potential of Jicama agricultural products is higher than other agricultural products such as rice, corn and soybeans. In Linggasari, bengkuang has been processed into various local products such as crackers, mochi, and masks. These products have been sold by the public but are limited due to a lack of interest. In addition, many people still sell whole jicama at a low price. Even though it has been sold at a low price, buyers' interest in jicama is still low so that many jicama are rotten because they are not sold and are just neglected. The purpose of this community service is to educate the community through training in making jicama processed innovations, namelysari bengkuang noodles to increase economic value and optimize the existing potential in Linggasari Village. The community service method used is through training in making noodles sari bengkuang directly to partners of the Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) and Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK). Abstract

The potential development of mint plants in the industrial business has a very promising opportunity as a processed product for packaged tea by Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Delima in Banyurip, Pekalongan City. Various obstacles were found in the management and processing of mint plant cultivation into mint tea processed products. The community service program aims to overcome these problems through the propagation of mint plant raw materials so that it can produce quality mint plants. In addition, the existence of better processing of mint leaves, namely into mint leaf tea in dry form, will increase the selling value of mint leaves with marketing strategies carried out online and offline. The implementation of the service work program is carried out in three main stages; pre-production, production and post-production. The mint tea products produced were introduced to KWT members simultaneously with the optimization of the management and processing of mint plants into derivative products which were intensively emphasized through interactive counseling, training on mint product processing and packaging. Other steps taken are developing the quantity and quality of mint plants, processing mint tea, and marketing. Thus, the production of processed mint tea can run in a sustainable manner so as to improve the economy of the local community. Keywords: Banyurip, KWT, mint, tea

The COVID-19 that has occurred has changed all human routines. COVID-19 has also prompted countries to issue work from home (WFH) policies. With this policy, the line between office work and homework is invisible. This condition triggers conflict, especially between husband and wife working, namely between work and family. However, good interaction between family members can be a mediator for working couples. In this regard, the study aims to analyze family interactions and the effect of work-family conflict on the quality of marriage for husband and wife working families during the COVID-19 pandemic. The design of this research is a cross-sectional study and was carried out in the city of Bogor in March 2021. Research respondents are wives who work in the formal sector and have school-age children, and the number is 65 families. The method in this study was self-administered, and an online questionnaire was used. Analysis of the influence of family characteristics, work-family conflict, and family interaction on marriage quality used regression test. As a result, during the COVID-19 pandemic, marriage quality was in the high category, with work-family conflict in the low category and family interactions were in the moderate category. Based on the regression test results, it is known that the quality of marriage is positively and significantly influenced by the length of the marriage and negatively significantly by work-family conflict. The research implication is that work-family conflicts can be overcome with good interactions between family members during the pandemic.

The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between wife's education and emotional-focused coping. Stress symptoms have a significant positive relationship with problem-focused coping and a significant negative relationship with family strength. Emotional-focused coping has a significant positive relationship with family strength. Regression analysis shows that emotional-focused coping has a significant positive effect on family strength. Symptoms of stress have a significant negative effect on family strength. Families affected by layoffs during the Covid-19 pandemic should be able to minimize symptoms of physical stress by doing breathing relaxation. Abstract

Families in Indonesia experienced changes and economic pressures in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is very important to know the full picture of family resilience in Indonesia, especially in the economic aspect. This study analyzes economic changes, coping strategies, and their effects on subjective family welfare at the pandemic's start. Data were collected through a Family Condition Survey, carried out specifically through online media, for 14 days in 34 provinces. The unit of analysis in this study is the family, that is married couples who have or do not have children, with a total sample of 20,680 respondents. This study conducted univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses using Cross Tabulation, Chi-Square Test and Binary Logistic Regression with Odds Ratio. The results of the study show that there are worsening economic changes, such as working conditions, finances and food adequacy. In this case, environmental factors are the family's socioeconomic and financial conditions (education, income, employment), which are still the main factors and significantly influence the subjective well-being of the family. However, the subjective welfare of families in Indonesia is still quite good; most families are still happy, remain grateful, and communicate well. Coping strategies in managing family finances, such as saving and using savings, are the most widely used. However, these efforts are constrained by low family income and increased additional needs during the pandemic. There is a need for further research that can fully describe post-pandemic family economic coping strategies in the last 12 months.
