Abstract

Korean drama series produced by foreign stations in Korea are very popular in Indonesia and have many fans. Some of the reasons are Korean dramas provide great inspirations, especially on lifestyle and fashion ideas. The purpose of the research is to determine how much Korean drama exposure has on influenced the fans’ lifestyle, especially the students of Communication Science at Universitas Malikussaleh. The research sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique. The research approach used is quantitative with survey techniques and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 22. The results of this research showed that there is an influence between the Korean drama exposure variable on the fan lifestyle variable in Communication Science students at Malikussaleh University.Drama Korea yang memproduksi serial drama dari negara Korea sangatlah popular di Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan drama Korea dapat memberi banyak inspirasi, khususnya pada gaya hidup dan fashion. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh terpaan drama Korea terhadap gaya hidup penggemar pada mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik survey dan menganalisis data dengan SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara variabel paparan drama Korea terhadap variabel gaya hidup penggemar pada mahasiswa ilmu komunikasi di Universitas Malikussaleh.

Abstract

In the food industry, packaging is an important part of the product sales chain. Apart from being a medium of communication and information for producers to consumers, packaging also has a variety of other functions, namely protecting product contents from all factors that cause damage, maintaining ingredients in a hygienic condition, and maintaining nutrition from packaged products. Given the increasing development of technology and cultural changes in society, packaging technology using plastic materials is the main alternative. The availability of plastic is unavoidable in various community activities, especially about eating and drinking activities. However, this increase in human interaction with plastic is not matched by knowledge or information regarding materials and types of plastic that are safe for health. This is also the case with information regarding the types of plastic that are difficult or easy to recycle in the long term, the community should share knowledge in making decisions about its use. Where a warning about this matter has been written on the bottom outside of the packaging in the form of a symbol. One of plastic waste is PET type plastic bottles. PET plastic bottles are usually used in beverage packaging that has a triangle symbol with a number one. PET plastic bottles should used for one time only. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of public awareness in choosing plastic packaging for daily use. The findings of this study indicate that the awareness of the people of Kuta Blang Village, Banda Sakti District, to check the triangle symbol located at the bottom of the plastic packaging before buying or using plastic packaging is very low. Therefore it is important to carry out outreach from various related parties as well as academics and stakeholders to become shared knowledge.Dalam industri makanan, kemasan menjadi bagian penting dari rangkaian penjualan produknya, selain sebagai media komunikasi dan informasi produsen kepada konsumen, kemasan juga memiliki beragam fungsi lainnya yaitu  melindungi isi produk dari segala faktor penyebab kerusakan, mempertahankan bahan tetap dalam keadaan higienis serta mempertahankan gizi dari produk yang dikemas. Mengingat semakin meningkatnya perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan budaya di dalam masyarakat, teknologi pengemasan dengan menggunakan bahan plastik menjadi altenatif utama. Ketersediaan plastik menjadi hal yang tak dapat dihindari dalam berbagai aktifitas masyarakat terutama berkenaan dengan kegiatan makan dan minum. Namun peningkatan interaksi manusia dengan plastik ini tidak diimbangi dengan pengetahuan atau informasi berkenaan dengan bahan dan jenis plastik yang aman bagi kesehatan. Demikian pula halnya dengan informasi terkait jenis plastik yang sulit atau mudah didaur ulang pada jangka panjang mestinya juga menjadi pengetahuan bersama masyarakat dalam keputusan penggunaannya. Dimana sebenarnya peringatan akan perihal ini telah tertulis pada bagian bawah luar kemasan dalam bentuk simbol. Salah satu contoh sampah plastik adalah botol plastik jenis PET. Botol plastik PET biasanya digunakan pada minuman kemasan yang memiliki simbol segitiga dengan angka satu. Dimana botol plastik PET hanya boleh digunakan untuk satu kali pemakaian. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat kesadaran masyarakat dalam memilih kemasan plastik untuk penggunaan sehari-hari. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat Desa Kuta Blang Kecamatan Banda Sakti untuk mengecek simbol segitiga yang terletak pada bagian bawah kemasan plastik sebelum membeli atau menggunakan kemasan plastik sangat rendah. Oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukan sosialisasi dari berbagai kalangan terkait juga akademisi dan para stakeholder untuk menjadi pengetahuan bersama.

Abstract

One of the changes in political communication strategies is caused by technological changes. Social media is one of the political communication channels for women legislative candidates in conducting their political campaigns in the 2024 legislative elections. This research aims to reveal how the use of social media in the campaign strategy of female legislative candidates in the digital era? What are the benefits obtained by legislative candidates who effectively use social media in their political campaigns. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative while the natural informants of this research are female legislative candidates from local SIRA Party, Democratic Party and PDI-P Party who are in electoral district 1 (Dapil 1) for Aceh Besar, Banda Aceh and Sabang. The results of the study found that the use of social media in campaign strategies for female legislative candidates in the digital era, that social media is a medium for developing the image and branding of female candidates, the presence of social media makes it easy for candidates to communicate directly with voters, become a channel for discussing matters related to gender issues and become a means to gain women's support. The advantages felt by female legislative candidates in using social media for their political campaigns are; social media's ability to reach a wide audience, the ability to interact with the public, and the ability to communicate with the public.
