Abstract

matematika dan self efficacy siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed method strategi embedded konkuren. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsN 1 Kadugede dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol serta siswa kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes. Tes yang digunakan berupa tes tipe uraian sebanyak 6 soal. Non tes yang digunakan berupa angket skala Self Efficacy dijabarkan dan dieksplorasi dari 4 domain yakni: (1) domain motivasi, (2) domain kognisi, (3) domain perilaku, dan (4) domain emosi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan self efficacy antara siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran konvensional, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional, kemampuan Self Efficacy siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional, terdapat korelasi antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan Self Efficacy siswa dengan nilai korelasinya 0,503 yang berkategori sedang.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Statistik. Peserta penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester akhir Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 87 mahasiswa, yang semuanya termasuk dalam sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan penalaran matematika dalam bentuk tes awal dan tes akhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan desain Pre-Eksperimental Design tipe One Grup Pre-test-Posttest dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan, didahului oleh uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai |thitung| > ttabel yaitu 11,375 > 1,988. Maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dari hal ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Selain itu, hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek memiliki korelasi positif sebesar 87% dengan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran memberikan kontribusi dominan, namun 13% kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa masih bergantung pada faktor lain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model through the educational game media snakes and ladders on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The background of this national research is based on the low mathematical problem-solving abilities of students as shown by international data, as well as the still dominant use of conventional learning methods that do not actively involve students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of the study were grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Kuningan in the 2024/2025 academic year, with samples consisting of two classes: an experimental class using the PjBL model through educational games, and a control class using conventional learning. Data were collected through pretest and posttest tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed that there was no significant difference in initial abilities between the two classes. However, after the treatment, there was a significant difference in the posttest results and an increase in the N-Gain score of mathematical problem solving ability between the experimental and control classes, which were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U non-parametric test. In addition, the results of the questionnaire showed that students gave a positive response to learning with the PjBL model through the snake and ladder educational game, with an average percentage of 75.025% in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the PjBL model through educational games is effective in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities and is able to create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi murid di Indonesia masih belum memadai, meskipun kompetensi ini penting untuk persiapan akademik dan keikutsertaan dalam Asesmen Nasional (AS). Kemampuan numerasi murid yang belum memadai perlu dicarikan solusinya. Salah satu upaya yang diusulkan oleh para peneliti adalah pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Aplikasi E-NuMeka diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi murid. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk membuat platform media digital "E-NuMeka" yang memenuhi persyaratan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi murid. Penulisan ini menggunakan Software Development Life Cycle dengan menggunakan teknik prototyping sebagai metodologi penulisan dan pengembangannya. Aplikasi E-NuMeka yang dikembangkan dinilai valid dan layak untuk digunakan, serta memperlihatkan efektivitas dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi matematika murid. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan analisis Paired Samples Test, yang mana signifikansi (2-tailed) dengan asumsi varians yang sama adalah 0,000, yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05. Aplikasi E-NuMeka dinilai praktis, dengan skor evaluasi kuesioner murid rata-rata 80,20. Penulisan ini memperlihatkan jika program E-NuMeka dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi matematika di kalangan murid sekolah menengah atas.Students' numeracy skills in Indonesia are still inadequate, although this competency is important for academic preparation and participation in the National Assessment (AN). Students' inadequate numeracy skills need to be solved. One of the efforts proposed by researchers is the development of digital-based learning media. The E-NuMeka application is expected to improve students' numeracy skills. This project aims to create a digital media platform "E-NuMeka" that meets the requirements of validity, effectiveness, and practicality to improve students' numeracy literacy. This study uses the Software Development Life Cycle using prototyping techniques as its research and development methodology. The E-NuMeka application developed was considered valid and feasible to use with the results of the validation of material experts obtaining an average value of 88.75 and 90, then the average validation assessment from media experts was 79 and 77.66 with a valid category. And shows the effectiveness in improving students' mathematical numeracy skills, this is proven by the Paired Samples Test analysis, where the significance (2-tailed) assuming the same variance is 0.000, which means it is less than 0.05. The E-NuMeka application is considered practical, with an average student questionnaire evaluation score of 80.20. This study shows that the E-NuMeka program can improve mathematical numeracy literacy skills among high school students.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is a central belief in learning, especially mathematics learning, because it can have a strong influence on students' self-confidence. If students are in the high self-efficacy category, then they will be able to solve mathematical problems successfully. The aim of this research is to analyze students' sense of self-confidence or belief in their abilities. This research method is qualitative descriptive research with subjects in class X SMA. The analysis was carried out using Bandura's theory. There are three dimensions. Namely: dimensions of Magnitude (size), Strength (strength), and Generality (general). In general, a person's self-efficacy is not limited to certain situations. The results of this research analysis show that the overall level of student Self Efficacy is at a good level. This shows that students at SMA Negeri 1 Cigugur have a good level of persistence and perseverance when facing challenging and difficult mathematics assignments

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum includes several changes in the teaching and learning process. School conditions (principals, teachers, administrative staff, and students) have different enthusiasms, even feeling unprepared for the curriculum changes. The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of mathematics teachers regarding how the 2013 curriculum is implemented in the learning process. The data collection method used is qualitative descriptive in a natural setting, using interview methods, filling out questionnaires by respondents and documentation. Purposive sampling techniques were used in determining research subjects, The subjects in this study were mathematics teachers who taught in class IX from several schools in Kuningan Regency, consisting of MTs Negeri 3 Kuningan, SMP Negeri 7 Kuningan, and SMP Negeri 1 Kadugede. From the results of the questionnaire, the average teacher response was obtained, including resource person F, who received an average of 95%. Interviewee S with an average of 65%, and source Y with an average of 69%. The overall average of the teacher perception questionnaire was 76%, this shows that the 2013 curriculum has been implemented well and effectively to support mathematics learning. This study revealed that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum for mathematics in class IX was effective, but it was time consuming for teachers to provide the material to students, causing them to be less involved in researching the material and focusing more on interactivity

Abstract

This research aims to design and determine the feasibility and effectiveness of LKPD Poster Learning Media (POLKA PD) to improve students' mathematical understanding, especially in flat-sided geometric material. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model and research design using one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study only consisted of class VIII students at MTs Negeri 3 Kuningan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used in this research was simple random sampling. From the research results, it was found that the POLKA PD media developed was suitable for use in educational environments, based on the verification results of media experts and material experts. The POLKA PD media developed is effective in increasing students' mathematical understanding. This can be seen from the average student mathematics comprehension test score after using POLKA PD media which is higher than before. The development of POLKA PD media on flat-sided geometric material received a good response from students. This can be seen from the results of a survey of student responses to POLKA PD media

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and effectiveness of the mathematical comic learning medium (KOMKA) to improve the numeration ability of elementary school students especially on area & volume measurement materials. This type of research is Research and Development. The development model used is the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carey, which has five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate. The population in this development research is all students of SDN 2 Padarek in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used in this development research is simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive analysis technique to describe whether the digital comics developed by the study are valid and effective for use in class learning. Research results show that the KOMKA learning medium is valid for use in learning activities, derived from the validity results of media experts and material experts. The KOMKA learning medium is effective in improving students' numeration skills. This can be seen from the average test results of students' mathematical understanding ability after the application of the KOMKA learning medium was higher than before.

Abstract

This study aims to design a snakes and ladders game media and determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media to improve students' mathematical understanding skills, especially on flat-sided space building material. This research uses development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The sample in this study were students of class VIII-H MTs Negeri 7 Kuningan in the 2023/2024 school year. The data analysis technique used in this study used the Paired Sample T Test, N-Gain test, and questionnaire processing. From the results of the study, it was found that the Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media developed was feasible to use in learning based on the verification results of media experts and material experts. The Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media developed effectively improves students' mathematical understanding skills. This can be seen from the average student mathematical understanding test scores after using Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media higher than before. The development of Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media received good responses from students.  This can be seen from the survey results of student response questionnaires to the Intelligent Math Snake (IMS) learning media

Abstract

This study aims to describe the success of the Problem Solving model in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills from the perspective of learning motivation. This study uses a sequential explanator design. The research sample consisted of 36 students of SMP Negeri 3 Darma for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely 18 VIII A students as the experimental group and 18 VIII B students as the control group. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using 2-Path Variance Analysis. The results of the data analysis were known with a significance level of 5% that in the learning model factor, a value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained with the conclusion that there was a difference in mathematical problem-solving ability between students who were given Problem Solving learning and conventional learning. Hypothesis testing of learning motivation factors had a value of 0.307 > 0.05 with the conclusion that there was no difference in mathematical problem-solving ability between students and High, medium, and low learning motivation
