Abstract

Abstract

This development research aims to develop wood and pulp chemicals in wood and fiber morphology as supplementary teaching materials for students of the Chemical Education study program at Sriwijaya University using the 4STMD (Four Step Teaching Materials Development) method. The steps of the 4STMD method, namely the first stage is the selection stage, carried out by analyzing needs, curriculum and analyzing the material by looking for references in various sources. The second stage, namely the structuring stage, is carried out by adding or subtracting material and compiling the material. The third stage is the characterization stage, carried out by developing the results of material analysis. The fourth stage is the didactic reduction stage, but the researcher did not carry out the didactic reduction stage. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, pre-research questionnaires and validation questionnaires. In the material validation test, the validity of teaching materials was obtained based on the Aiken coefficient of 0.75 which was categorized as high. Based on these results, it shows that the development of wood and pulp chemicals in wood sub-materials and fiber morphology has met the valid criteria.

Abstract

7) Pembuatan agar-agar materi koloid. 8) pembuatan telur asin dengan metode osmosis. Dan 9) Pembuatan Virgin Coconut Oil dengan metode fermentasi.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in science learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model. This research method uses a classroom action research design consisting of two cycles, where one cycle consists of 1 meeting. The stages of each cycle consist of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were class III D students at SDN 57 Palembang, totaling 24 students, consisting of 11 male students and 13 female students. Data collection techniques use observation techniques and tests on student learning outcomes. This research shows that the average daily test scores achieved by students in the pre-cycle stage reached 68. There were 10 students (42%) who completed their studies (reached the KKM). 14 students (58%) did not complete their studies (under the KKM). Meanwhile, after carrying out cycle one, there were 17 (71%) students who achieved learning completeness (KKM), while 7 (29%) students did not achieve learning completeness. Therefore, it can be concluded that the research results show that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 57 Palembang

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to produce wood and pulp chemistry teaching materials on tree sub-materials that meet valid criteria. The procedure for developing teaching materials follows the stages in the 4STMD (four-step teaching material development) , starting from the selection stage to the characterization stage. Data collection techniques carried out in this development research were interviews, questionnaires, and walkthroughs. The data analysis technique in this development research uses Aiken's Validity formula to calculate the validity of the material. The results of this study are wood and pulp chemistry teaching materials in the tree sub-material as a supplement to teaching materials for students of the Chemical Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University which has a validity level in the material aspect of 0.86 which is included in the high category. Validity results are obtained by referring to Aiken's validity criteria. The results of the research conducted showed that the development of wood and pulp chemicals in tree sub-materials as a supplement to teaching materials met the valid criteria.

Abstract

Sustainable development aims to raise the standard of living for present and future generations. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 objectives related to sustainable development. Education for Sustainable Development, or ESD, is one initiative to achieve the SDGs. Presenting the findings of literature research on the features and use of ESD in science education is the goal of this paper. The primary source material for this literature study came from seven publications published in different journals. This study utilized a mixed-methods approach with a concurrent triangulation design involving questionnaires, interviews, and FGDs with 78 physics teachers. The TPACK scores showed a mean of 3.10, with the highest score in Attitude (3.27) and the lowest in Inquiry (3.04). The analysis's findings indicate that 1) Eight critical competencies are thought to be crucial for promoting sustainable development. 2) Learning tools, learning media, and learning models are ways ESD can be included in science education. These findings demonstrate that integrating ESD capabilities into science instruction can promote sustainable development and help attain the SDGs. The results highlight the need for targeted training in inquiry-based approaches and technology integration to enhance ESD implementation in physics education.
