Abstract

This study proposed a tool that can set the direction of the solar cells that will always follow a shift of the light source and always facing perpendicular to the sun using solar system auto scanning. Commercial DSSC was proposed using a synthetic dye that is kind of a ruthenium complex dye has reached 10% efficiency, but the availability and the price is expensive does not allow for the development of this research so that the research will be used ZnO with Dye N3 a more easily available and cheaper. To optimize the performance of the solar cell, material will be added CNT nano-materials on silicon. Prototype of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was made using materials ZnO and CNTs that can increase the power by 5.18%. Auto scanning was able to move in 3 dimensions to follow the direction of motion of the sun through the increase reached 7.5%. Electric control system was set up by detecting the maximum light intensity and adjusting the position of the direction of the solar cell, solar lighting by using microcontroller ATMEGA 32, light sensor and motor driver. This technology had been able to improve 14.73%.

Abstract

Kenyamanan dan keamanan di tempat kerja harus diwujudkan karena karyawan sangat rentanmengalami kecelakan ketika bekerja. Hal ini tentu membuat adanya banyak kerugian seperti biaya, waktu,efisisensi dan efektivitas kerja serta berakibat pada produktivitas kerja yang menurun. Banyak hal yang harusdiperhatikan di dalam line produksi agar line produksi bisa di jadikan tempat yang aman dan nyaman. Rumusanmasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah berapa tingkat risiko ergonomi terhadap proses produksi pada karyawan didepartemen (Press Shop) PT. X. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi perbaikan yang tepat untukmengurangi / menyelesaikan permasalahan karyawan terhadap keletihan pada karyawan didepartemen PressShop di PT. X. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah REBA, RULA serta kuisioner NBM. Untukmenghitung nilai skor RULA dan REBA peneliti menggunakan software RULA REBA Assessment pada tiappengamatan aktifitas produksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 3 skor tertinggi keluhan yang dirasakanoperator yaitu sakit pinggang (7), sakit pada lengan atas bagian kanan total skor (6), sakit pada bagian punggungtotal skor (5). Untuk Skor REBA pada pierching tube header pipe adalah 8, termasuk dalam resiko tinggisehingga perlu adanya perbaikan, Skor RULA pada pierching tube header pipe 7, memiliki level risiko tinggiperlu adanya perbaikan. Solusi perbaikan dari hasil data penelitian yaitu perbaikan terhadap edukasi terhadapoperator, perbaikan pada posisi layout kerja dan membuat modifikasi meja pada mesin.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegagalan isolator tegangan tinggi di Indonesia disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah adanya arus bocor pada permukaan isolator yang terkontaminasi. Material polimer epoxy resin dikembangkan sebagai alternative karena memliki beberapa kelebihan, antara lain sifat  menolak air (hydrophobicity), lebih ringan, murah, dan instalasi lebih mudah.  Oleh karena itu, Studi mengenai arus bocor diperlukan untuk mengetahui permukaan isolator. Pada penelitian ini, pengujian arus bocor dilakukan pada isolator resin epoksi pengisi silika. Peneltian ini difokuskan pada besar arus bocor, tipe sirip isolator, dan karakteristik harmonik permukaan isolator pada kondisi kering dan basah. Parameter harmonik tersebut meliputi bentuk gelombang, spektrum frekuensi (FFT), dan Total Harmonic Distortion  (THD). Pengolahan THD  dilakukan dengan menggunakan fungsi Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)menggunakan software Matlab 2012. Hasil pengujian dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa magnituda, bentuk gelombang, spektrum frekuensi, dan THD sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi permukaan dan besar permukaan isolator. Pada kondisi basah, arus bocor yang dihasilkan cukup besar dan nilai presentase THD mendekati nol, ini disebabkan permukaan isolator bersifat konduktif dan dapat menyebabkan pemanasan serta degradasi pada permukaan isolator. Pada  kondisi kering memiliki nilai arus bocor dan THD rendah sehingga kondisi permukaan normal. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa indikator arus bocor dan komponen harmonik cukup efektif untuk mengetahui kondisi permukaan sampel isolator. Kata Kunci : isolator, arus bocor, polimer,  resin epoksi , distorsi harmonik total, FFT Abstract High voltage insulator failures in Indonesia caused by many factors, one of which is the presence of leakage current on the surface of contaminated insulators. Epoxy resin polymer material was developed as an alternative because it has several advantages, include water-repellent (hydrophobicity), lighter, cheaper, and easier installation. The study of the leakage current is needed to determine the insulator surface. The research about leakage current on epoxy resin focused on the magnitude, fin-type insulator, and harmonic characteristics of the insulator surface under dry (clean) and wet  condition. The harmonic parameters include waveform, frequency spectrum (FFT), and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). Leakage current data processing is done by using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) using Matlab software. Result test and analysis showed that the magnitude, waveform, frequency spectrum, and the THD were strongly influenced by surface conditions and surface area of the insulator. In wet conditions, the leakage current was quite large and the percentage of THD value closed to zero, due to conductive insulator surface which caused heating and degradation on the insulator surface. On the contrary, the dry condition gave low leakage current and THD, so the surface of insulator became normal. The result of the experiment mentioned that the leakage current and harmonics sample were considerd to be effective to detect the condition of insulator surface. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi iodosfor untuk dipping terhadap Total Plate Count (TPC) dan Staphylococcus aureus pada susu sapi Friesian Holstein (FH). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Mulyorejo di Desa Barukan, Kecamatan Tengaran - Kabupaten Semarang. Materi yang digunakan adalah susu segar yang diperoleh dari 18 ekor sapi perah FH laktasi dengan rata-rata bobot badan 408,55 ± 30,86 kg (CV = 10,68%) dan rata-rata produksi susu 9,6 ± 0,84 l (CV = 12,36%). Bahan dipping yang digunakan adalah iodosfor 10,295% (yang tersusun atas 0,295% iodine, 10% sorbitol dan gliserol) dan akuades yang dicampur hingga homogen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan yaitu T0 (non dipping), T1 (dipping dengan konsentrasi 0,5% iodosfor) dan T2 (dipping dengan konsentrasi 1% iodosfor). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan TPC pada T0, T1 dan T2 masing-masing adalah 9,6 ; 7,5 dan 3,9 x 105 CFU/ml (P<0,01), sedangkan total bakteri Staphylococcus aureus masing-masing yaitu : 1,60; 0,93 dan 0,55 x 102 CFU/ml (P<0,01). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dipping dengan menggunakan iodosfor pada konsentrasi 0,5% sudah dapat menurunkan TPC dan Staphylococcus aureus pada susu sapi FH.Kata kunci:  dipping; iodosfor; Total Plate Count; Staphylococcus aureus; sapi Friesian Holstein  ABSTRACTThis study was aimed to determine the effect of iodosphor concentration for dipping on Total Plate Count (TPC) and Staphylococcus aureus in milk of Friesian Holstein (FH) dairy cow. The research was conducted at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (Superior Livestock Breeding/UPTD Mulyorejo) Barukan village, Tengaran – district of Semarang. The material used was fresh milk obtained from 18 lactating FH dairy cows with an averaged body weight of 408.55 ± 30.86 kg (CV = 10.68%) and the averaged milk production of 9.6 ± 0.84 l (CV = 12.36%). Dipping materials used were iodosphor 10.295% (which was composed of 0.295% iodine, 10% sorbitol and glycerol) and distilled water which was mixed until homogeny. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and replicates).The treatments were T0 (non-dipping), T1 (dipping with a concentration of 0.5% iodosphor) and T2 (dipping with a concentration of 1% iodosphor).The results showed that the average of TPC of the treatments were 9.6; 7.5, and 3.9 x 105 CFU/ml (P <0.01), whereas the total Staphylococcus aureus were 1.60; 0.93 and 0.55 x 102 CFU/ml (P <0.01) for T0, T1 and T2, respectively. Abstract

Tourism is described as an economic activity that attracts people and encourages them to stay in certain places, either permanently or temporarily. Batam City, one of the main cities in the Riau Archipelago Province, has the potential to become a tourist attraction. Pacific Palace Hotel Batam is the most distinctive hotel in Batam City, with a ship-shaped building inspired by Greek mythology, the sea god Neptune, and a spectacular interior design. Guest happiness is also an indicator of the company's future success. Guests are happy when their expectations are met, and they are even happier when their expectations are exceeded. However, if the visitor is not satisfied it can hurt the business and make the customer unhappy. Monte Carlo Sig. Calculations (2-tailed) produce a value of 0.255 for the normality test using the one-sample Kolmograv-Smirnov Test calculation. This variable has a significant value greater than 0.05 which indicates that the data in this study are regularly distributed. The linearity test produces a significant value that deviates from the linearity of 0.891 when the significance value is greater than 0.05. It can be stated that there is a fairly large linear relationship between service quality and guest satisfaction measures. The Validity Test findings were collected based on the data obtained from the questionnaire results, and using the Pearson Product Moment correlation, it was claimed that all data was valid. According to the reliability test, the data is credible because the Cronbach alpha value is more than 0.60. A significant value of 0.000 0.05 was achieved using the simple linear regression test, indicating that the variable quality of room attendant service (X) had an influence on visitor satisfaction (Y). According to the determinant coefficient or R2 test findings, which is equivalent to 0.490 or 49%. It is possible to establish that service quality has a 49% impact on guest satisfaction.

Abstract

Tourism is the 3rd largest foreign exchange earner in Indonesia. Tourism in Batam City is well known at the international and national levels. Batam City itself has an increase in tourist rates of 44.35 in 2020 and 49.15 in 2021 according to (BPS, 2021). This is also very influential on the hospitality industry in Indonesia, the opportunity to build a business, especially in the hospitality industry, will greatly assist tourism travel activities in Indonesia. Housekeeping or hotel housekeeping is one of the departments that has a very important role in providing services to guests, especially in providing cleaning services, tidiness and completeness of items in guest rooms (Polii and Towoliu, 2018). In general, there is a decrease in performance which is suspected to be due to the inconsistent work training conducted at Swiss-belhotel Harbor Bay Batam and the decrease in employee motivation is influenced by several factors ranging from the level of work difficulty, skill objects, promotion opportunities, employee salaries and also appreciation of employee performance. impact on employee performance. The design of this research uses a quantitative research approach. In this study, the entire population of Swiss-belhotel Harbor Bay Batam housekeeping employees was used, totaling 18 employees. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and interviews to employees. Based on the results of data analysis, discussion, and data processing in this study, it can be concluded that the training carried out at Swiss-belhotel Harbourbay Batam has a positive and significant effect on the performance of housekeeping employees.

Abstract

Batam City, situated within the Riau Islands Province, serves not only as a gateway for international tourists entering Indonesia but also stands as the country's premier tourist destination. Offering a plethora of attractions, including its renowned beaches, Batam City draws both locals and tourists alike seeking leisure and relaxation. Among these, Tanjung Pinggir Beach in Sekupang district holds particular allure. To ensure sustained visitor interest, there is a need to enhance service quality to achieve optimum tourist satisfaction. Employing a qualitative descriptive research approach, data were gathered through various methods such as observation, interviews, documentation, library studies, and questionnaires. The study involved 20 respondents selected through full sampling. Findings revealed that 62% of visitors expressed satisfaction with the attractions, while 69% agreed on the accessibility. However, only 70% reported dissatisfaction with the amenities provided. Consequently, it is imperative for the management of tourist attractions to implement improvements to bolster visitor numbers.

Abstract

Workers who do work beyond their capabilities or exceed their capacity are called workload. The main factor that causes workload is that when we are working we are faced with various kinds of work problems that are not resolved or there is no solution to solve these problems. One of the problems that occurred at Hotel This research uses a qualitative method design with a case study approach. The results of this research were obtained using in-depth interview techniques with informants in the form of direct observation and when the data had been collected it was then analyzed. This analysis itself focuses on the workload experienced by X Hotel Batam laundry employees. In this research, the informants were laundry employees at X Hotel Batam. The interview was conducted at X Hotel Batam on January 24 2023. This approach uses a qualitative approach to see the natural conditions of an activity carried out by X Hotel Batam laundry employees. This approach aims to gain understanding and describe actual reality. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that X Hotel Batam laundry employees try to find a way out of these unpleasant feelings by carrying out evaluations once a month by sharing their feelings or complaints while working. This is certainly very effective and effective in improving the relationships that exist during work and as fellow human beings. As fellow employees who are equally paid and equally fighting for continuity.

Abstract

Amphibians and their geographical distribution are threatened by climate change, including speciesin West Java, Indonesia. It is estimated that 300 amphibian species are threatened, including the familyDicroglossidae. At the same time, information on how climate change impacts amphibian species inIndonesia is very limited. This study aims to assess and model the suitable habitat for the least concernAsian brackish frog, Fejervarya cancrivora (Gravenhorst, 1829), under the CMIP 5 RCP 8.5 futureclimate change scenario by 2070, analyzed using Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt). The models developedwith MaxEnt showed good predictivity, with an AUC value of 0.701. The models that inform theprecipitation of the wettest month, isothermality, and mean diurnal range variables have significantcontributions to make in shaping F. cancrivora geographical distributions. The models confirm that F.cancrivora had shifted its geographical distribution and had gained and lost habitats under a future climatechange scenario by 2070. F. cancrivora will lose 4,428 km2 of its current habitat and will gain 2,673km2 of new habitat. In total, climate change will cause F. cancrivora to lose its habitat by 1,755 km2.

Abstract

Tourism village development is a process that emphasizes ways to develop or advance tourist villages. Tourist village development is defined as efforts to complete and improve tourist facilities to meet tourist needs. Local communities play an urgent role in developing tourist villages because the resources and unique traditions and culture inherent in these communities are the main driving elements of tourist village activities. On the other hand, local communities that grow and live side by side with a tourist attraction become part of an interconnected ecological system. PKM activity was performed face-to-face by providing counseling on material related to Tourism Development, Glam'e Melayu is a community organization that involves all government officials from RT to sub-district, youth organizations, and majelis taklim as well as all elements of the Sidomulyo village community. The achievement of the objectives of implementing PKM is good, but the limited time provided means that not all material can be transferred in detail. The achievement of the material targets for this PKM activity was good because the mentoring material was delivered in its entirety.Pengembangan  desa  wisata sebagai  suatu proses  yang menekankan  cara  untuk mengembangkan atau memajukan desa wisata. Pengembangan desa  wisata  diartikan  sebagai  usaha-usaha untuk melengkapi dan meningkatkan fasilitas wisata untuk memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan. Masyarakat  lokal  berperan  penting  dalam pengembangan  desa  wisata  karena  sumber daya  dan  keunikan  tradisi  dan  budaya  yang melekat  pada  komunitas tersebut  merupakan unsur penggerak utama kegiatan desa wisata. Di lain pihak, komunitas lokal yang tumbuh dan hidup berdampingan  dengan suatu objek wisata  menjadi  bagian  dari  sistem  ekologi yang  saling  kait  mengait. PKM dilaksanakan dengan cara tatap muka dengan memberikan penyuluhan mengenai materi yang mengenai Pengembangan Pariwisata. Glam’e Melayu merupakan organisasi masyarakat yang melibatkan semua aparat pemerintah mulai dari RT sampai kelurahan, organisasi pemuda karang taruna dan majelis taklim serta semua unsur masyarakat kampung Sidomulyo sebagai objek dari pelaksanaan PKM. Ketercapaian tujuan secara umum sudah baik, namun keterbatasan waktu yang disediakan mengakibatkan tidak semua materi dapat disampaikan secara detil. Ketercapaian target materi pada kegiatan PKM ini cukup baik, karena materi pendampingan telah dapat disampaikan secara keseluruhan.
