Abstract

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of advertising in the consumer goods market, as well as to determine the effectiveness of advertising conducted on social media in creating brand awareness. By employing exploratory research with a quantitative approach, 389 data were obtained. The results of this study show that the measurement of advertising effectiveness can be done through celebrity endorsers, message content, and the use of social media. In addition, the effectiveness of advertising has a positive and significant influence on the creation of brand awareness. In details, celebrity endorsers or well-known public figures do not guarantee the formation of brand awareness. This research recommends a collaboration between celebrity endorsers who portray a good image with feasible budget supported with the appropriate messages and media with the right target audience, so the consumer goods advertising can be effective.

Abstract

Subscriber-based Video on Demand (SVoD) is currently growing business sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the pandemic effect human mobilization, the Indonesian government strictly regulated visiting the cinema to press Covid-19 outbreak. Consequently, film providers and consumers adopt SVoD as an alternative digital platform. Nevertheless, Indonesian subscriptions are currently lagging behind other countries. In addition, a survey from Coalition Against Piracy in 2019 has discovered that 63 % of Indonesian consumers opt to access illegal streaming services instead of paying subscription fees to video streaming providers. This research empirically examines social influence, perceived risk, hedonic motivation, and utility value to influence behavioral intention to understand what factors influence paying subscriptions. The hypotheses proposed in our research model are tested on a sample of 291 Indonesian subscribers of SVoD platforms. The partial-least square modeling result shows that social influence, hedonic motivation, and utilitarian value can, directly and indirectly, influence behavioral intention. Contrary to research hypotheses, the perceived risk of adopting illegal streaming videos can only indirectly influence behavioral intention. Finally, it is noted that a combination of external and internal consumer motivation will impact subscriptions intention.

Abstract

Responsible consumption has been recognized as one of the efforts to achieve the SDGs, but it still requires much refinement, and at the moment, there is little time left until 2030 to achieve the SDGs. The academic literature is carried out through the PRISMA method, analyzing the study descriptively and thematically, and performing analysis synthesis to report the study results. The findings of this study are that the concept of responsible consumer behavior in a sustainable context has evolved in a more specific direction, no longer being a general statement of direct support for the SDGs. However, its implementation focuses on consumers' consumption consciousness to make their choices wiser, influenced by various internal and external factors. Based on the study we have drawn up a framework for developing research topics on sustainable behavior so that further research can quickly implement research themes across various industrial sectors and from multiple perspectives.

Abstract

Solid waste management problems have become a common problem in Indonesia. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics' Environmental Care Behavior Indicator in 2017, it shows that 58.32% of Indonesians do not sort their waste. Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) is a campus that carries the concept of eco-campus. Waste segregation has been programmed, but in reality in the field, waste segregation is not running. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing the preferences and participation of ITK academic community in waste segregation at ITK. The survey results showed that out of 380 respondents, although 90% had seen posters about waste segregation at ITK, only 57.6% stated that they had done waste segregation at ITK, which was mostly based on the factor of facilitating management both by ITK and at the landfill. For the other 44.2% of respondents who do not or only sometimes do waste segregation, it was found that the biggest factor that made them do so was based on the desire to segregate at the beginning, but when opening the trash can, the waste inside was already mixed.

Abstract

Belanja online saat ini menjadi fenomena yang menarik di Indonesia. Data menunjukkan perkembangan yang sangat pesat terjadi dari segi konsumen online, apalagi ketika masa pandemi covid-19. Dengan banyaknya jumlah konsumen yang tidak bisa melakukan aktifitas sehari-hari atau karantina dirumah, menjadikan peningkatan yang signifikan pada belanja online. Mempelajari perilaku konsumen perlu dilakukan karena berkaitan dengan keputusan pembelian. Tentunya hal ini menjadi penting untuk mengetahui perilaku pembeli online selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis structure equational model – Partial least square. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 300 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perilaku belanja online pada masa Pandemi COVID-19 dipengaruhi oleh factor persepsi pribadi seperti kepercayaan, kenyamanan, kemudahan, dan keamanan. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi perusahaan atau toko online dalam menarik konsumen untuk berbelanja selama pandemic Covid-19

Abstract

Tujuan dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh sektor pariwisata di Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat melalui bantuan dalam proses pengembangan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SOP) Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Identifikasi masalah mitra dilakukan dengan studi dokumen pengembangan destinasi wisata di wilayah studi. Rancangan solusi masalah dengan memperhatikan penyebab sehingga didapatkan tiga solusi permasalahannya, yaitu; pengembangan SOP bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata; Pengembangan SOP Pemberdayaan Masyarakat yang diberikan oleh Kepala Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi wisata, Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Kuningan. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini meliputi; (1) Luaran wajib. Luaran wajib yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Kabupaten Kuningan berupa Teknologi Tepat Guna, dalam bentuk rancangan/desain SOP Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Kabupaten Kuningan; (2) Luaran tambahan berupa artikel yang dipublikasi pada jurnal pengabdian. Hasil yang dikembangkan berupa SOP-AP Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata sebanyak 21 SOP-AP, keberlanjutan program masih banyak lagi upaya peningkatan layanan di bidang pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Kuninga.

Abstract

This paper aims to contribute to a better understanding of the relatively comprehensive breadth of information on outsourcing-offshoring from existing and open-source research articles. A systematic literature review was carried out on 700 articles related to global outsourcing to obtain results of scientific studies. The PRISMA method is used to get relevant articles that meet the quality control aspects of the article data used. Research on global outsourcing and offshoring showed significant progress from the start until its peak in 2008. In 2000 global outsourcing was in the implementation stage, requiring a lot of basic and conceptual research to develop global outsourcing activities. After 2008 the topic of global outsourcing research studies decreased. This was because research on global outsourcing became more specific. The 32 topic items grouped into 4 clusters are state-of-the-art research on global outsourcing-offshoring topics in the last 20 years.

Abstract

AbstractThis research develops a performance-based training management model to produce start-up companies that have superior competitiveness in their independence and business development. Using the Research & Development approach, this research uses a locus of start-up companies in Bandung. Research subjects are the leaders or business owners of start-up companies. The managerial training and development model that is often based on various studies is concluded to run with various deficiencies in every aspect, starting from the planning, implementation, and results obtained. Based on this, the reconstruction of training and development models is carried out by examining the factors that are relevant for managerial training and development, especially in start-up companies. The results of our study show that the performance-based training model developed for managerial training and development has proven to be effective in increasing the competencies of leaders and owners of start-up companies in Bandung. Keywords: Training management model,  Competencies, Performance, Business owners of start-up companies.

Abstract

AbstractThe research conducted tries to explore the coffee shop's attributes in influencing the lokal coffee purchase intention. Attributes consist of 5 variable dimensions such as product quality, service quality, brand equity, facilities and atmosphere. The research design used a descriptive design with a questionnaire distributed to 230 respondents to coffee shop customers. Statistical analysis was used to test the variables using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of lokal coffe attributes in coffee shop on purchase intention. The results of this study indicate that the lokal coffe product attributes in coffee shop have a strong advantage in building consumer buying intention. The results of further research show that only three variables in product attributes have a positive influence on consumer purchase intention, there are product quality, service quality, and facilities. The research finding is that the purchase intention of local coffee products is indeed less when compared to imported coffee products. Customers tend to be low in stating that they will buy local coffee products, and respondents are less interested in searching for information on local coffee in coffee shops. However, the product attributes associated with local coffee served in coffee shops have resulted in a purchase intention of 52.6%.Keywords: Product Attribute, Buying Intention, Coffe shop.

Abstract

Bisnis kuliner sebagai suvenir di Bandung saat ini telah berkembang, namun demikian secara umum mereka belum mampu menyajikan produk kuliner sebagai suvenir yang berkualitas. Hasil studi sebelumnya juga mengindikasikan bahwa aspek kemasan, penjualan, promosi serta kualitas layanan masih perlu penanganan secara serius karena belum dipersepsikan sebagai suatu yang baik. Perbaikan akan hal tersebut mendesak karena, dari sisi turis, kualitas produk, tampilan kemasan, dan bagaimana produk kuliner tersebut dijual merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelian suvenir. Studi ini bertujuan untuk turut serta dalam menumbuhkembangkan bisnis kuliner bagi UKM di kota Bandung, khususnya untuk memahami dan menganalisis bagaimana dampak desain visual kemasan terhadap kualitas produk makanan. Produk oleh-oleh makanan Bandung menjadi objek penelitian ini karena produk oleh-oleh makanan dianggap sebagai produk low-involvement yang sering dibeli dan dipengaruhi oleh desain visual kemasan. Studi ini dirancang untuk memahami  dan menganalisis pentingnya desain kemasan visual dalam mempengaruhi kualitas produk oleh-oleh makanan Bandung. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, sudi ini difokuskan pada usaha produk oleh-oleh makanan UKM dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif dan deskriptif. Metode purposive sampling digunakan  dalam penelitian dengan menentukan kriteria responden adalah wisatawan yang baru saja berbelanja oleh-oleh khas Bandung. Selanjutnya, data dari 200 responden dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif statistik dan multivariate. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa persepsi wisatawan terhadap desain visual kemasan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas suvenir makanan Bandung. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penting bagi pengusaha produk oleh-oleh makanan untuk membuat de-sain kemasan yang sesuai dengan harapan konsumen agar kualitas produk juga dapat dinilai dengan baik oleh konsumen.
