Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide strong evidence regarding the influence of bank health level measured by NPL, ROA and CAR on Earningt management which has an impact on stock returns. This type of research is included in quantitative research. The population in this study is all Indonesia's national private banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. Meanwhile, the sample in this study is 37 companies. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques. The analysis used in this study is cross section data regression analysis. The results of this study are (1) Non-Performing Loans do not have a significant effect on Earning management. (2) Return On Assets does not have a significant effect on Earning management. (3) Capital Adequacy Ratio does not have a significant effect on Earning management. (4) Earning management has no significant effect on stock returns. (5) Non-Performing Loans do not have a significant effect on stock returns. (6) Return On Assets does not have a significant effect on stock returns. (7) Capital Adequacy Ratio has a significant effect on stock returns. (8) Earning management does not mediate Non-Performing Loans against stock returns. (9) Earning management does not mediate Return On Assets on stock returns. (10) Earning management does not mediate the capital adequacy ratio to stock returns.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of mental health assistance through HERO training (focusing on hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism) in improving the psychological well-being of parents of Indonesia immigrants in Malaysia who are vulnerable to declining psychological wellbeing. Using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design in a large group, this training was carried out for one week with 2 sessions per meeting lasting 60-120 minutes. The material was delivered using the concept of experiential learning through lecturing, audio-visual, written assignments, discussions, games, and reflection. The participants were parents of students aged 30-50 years old from Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Psychological well-being is measured using The Ryff Scale of Psychological Well-being. Analysis of quantitative data showed significant differences between before and after training, proving that the level of psychological well-being improved after HERO training was administered.

Abstract

ABSTRACT C-Section has some advantages compared to vaginal birth but it has both short-term and long-term risks including death. This research aims to identify conditions that have the greatest chance of C-section in the working area of Puskesmas in Nagan Raya District. This research used observational analitic.with prospective cohort approach. The research was conducted in the work area of Puskesmas in Nagan Raya District. The sample in this research is 308 pregnant women in the third trimester who were followed until birth. Data were analyzed  using the logistic regression. The results showed that the highest probability of C-section was the history of having a C-section with a consistent P-value of 0.00 and the OR value in the multivariate final model of almost 36 times. Health care providers have to provide quality antenatal care services including explaining the indications for C-section and its dangers as well as implementing the Vaginal Birth After Caesarea (VBAC) system, which is a normal birth process after having a C-section so that mothers with a history of C-section do not hesitate to choose vaginal birth if there is no medical indication  Keyword: Birth, Pregnant Women, C-Section Opportunities  ABSTRAK Persalinan SC memiliki beberapa keuntungan dibanding persalinan normal, namun persalinan SC juga tidak luput dari masalah jangka pendek, dan jangka panjang bahkan kematian. Penelitian ini ingin membuktikan kondisi apa yang paling berpeluang dilakukan persalinan sectio caesarea di wilayah kerja puskesmas dalam Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan kohort prospektif . Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja puskesmas dalam Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu 308 ibu hamil trimester tiga yang diikuti sampai melahirkan. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan regresi logistic. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peluang persalinan SC yang paling tinggi adalah faktor riwayat persalinan SC terdahulu dengan P value selalu konsisten yaitu 0,00 dengan nilai OR pada model akhir multivariat  36 kali. Pemberi layanan kesehatan perlu melakukan layanan antenatal care yang berkualitas termasuk memberi penjelasan kepada ibu tentang indikasi SC, dampak tindakan SC yang tidak sesuai indikasi, serta menerapkan sistem Vaginal Birth After Caesarea (VBAC) yaitu proses melahirkan normal setelah pernah melakukan Sectio Caesarea, sehingga ibu yang pernah mengalami riwayat Sectio Caesarea sebelumnya tidak ragu untuk memilih bersalin secara normal, jika tidak ada indikasi medis pada kehamilannya. Kata Kunci: Persalinan, Ibu Hamil, Peluang SC

Abstract

In the era of globalization and free trade (global market), Indonesia's economic development, especially in the field of industry and trade, has brought significant benefits to all stakeholders (employers). This means that the choice of goods and services offered has increased. , with a wide range of types, prices and qualities. To make it easier for people, especially consumers, to meet their daily needs. On the other hand, consumers are often targeted by marketers who consciously strive for maximum profit through campaigns and sales, often to the detriment of consumers. This is due to the low education, understanding and work ethic of traders. Also, there is no ethics in business. Therefore, there is a need to enact laws and regulations that can provide guarantees to all victims.

Abstract

The evolution of the human resource management function from administrative roles to strategic business partners has become a major focus in the era of digitalization and economic globalization. It aims to analyze the comprehensive characteristics and transformation patterns of human resource functions through a systematic meta-analysis approach to the academic literature for the period 2015-2024. The research methodology adopts a qualitative meta-synthesis approach with article selection criteria including peer-reviewed publications, temporal range 2015-2024, focus on transformation of strategic HR roles, accessibility of accredited academic databases, and high thematic relevance. The analytical approach uses structured thematic synthesis techniques and systematic content analysis of ten relevant articles from internationally reputable scientific repositories. The results of the study identified three phases of progressive transformation including the transition stage, the development of strategic capabilities, and the maturity of business partnerships. Determinants of transformation success include executive management commitment, sustainable digital competency development, adaptive organizational culture, and external competitive pressures. Transformation has a significant positive impact on operational efficiency, organizational productivity, employee engagement, and the company's innovation capacity. The era of digitalization has become a fundamental catalyst for changing the paradigm of HR from an administrative mindset to a strategic orientation with an emphasis on technology-based decision-making and data analytics.

Abstract

Multiculturalism can be seen as an acknowledgement of cultural pluralism. Cultural pluralism is not something that is “given” but is a process of internalizing values ​​within a community. This study provides an overview of the conceptual understanding and behavior of multicultural values ​​at the Islamic College of Brebes, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) study program. Therefore, it is important to develop multicultural education, an educational process that provides equal opportunities for all students who come from different school backgrounds. Lecturers of Multicultural Education courses must design the learning process, prepare the curriculum and evaluation design, and lecturers who have multicultural perceptions, attitudes and behaviors, so that they become a part that provides a positive contribution to the development of multicultural attitudes and behaviors of their students. This study aims to determine the ability of understanding and multicultural behavior of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students of STAI Brebes towards the multicultural values ​​they get in lectures. This study is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The primary data in this study are class A Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students of the Islamic College of Brebes. While secondary data involves designated fellow students, designated lecturers and designated academics. The results of the study show that students' understanding and behavior regarding multiculturalism values ​​are good or even very good. The values ​​understood and behavior applied by the students include tolerance values, equality values, freedom values, and discipline values

Abstract

As the urgency of addressing climate change and promoting environmental sustainability continues to rise, educational institutions play a crucial role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible citizenship. Recognizing the need for innovative teaching strategies in this area, this study investigates the integration of trade books into secondary school English lessons to enhance students' understanding of these pressing global issues. This study employed a design-based research (DBR) approach to develop and implement a project-based climate change education program integrated into English Language Teaching (ELT) for junior high school students. Conducted at the Public Junior High School Lalan, a remote area in South Sumatra, the study aimed to enhance students' climate literacy by exploring their existing knowledge, addressing climate change topics in the classroom, and identifying challenges in the implementation process. A total of 52 ninth-grade students, selected through purposive sampling, participated in the study. Data were collected through surveys and in-depth interviews conducted before and after the intervention. The interviews explored students’ experiences, perspectives, and changes in understanding related to climate change. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the interview transcripts, revealing shifts in students’ awareness and knowledge. The findings indicate that integrating climate change education into ELT through a project-based approach can effectively support students’ climate literacy and contribute to a more sustainable mindset among learners.
