Abstract

Adapun maksud dari diadakannya kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat (abdimas) ini tentunya bermaksud untuk mengedukasi masyarakat daerah sekitar RT 009 Desa Gelam Jaya, Pasar Kemis, Tangerang dalam menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan mereka di kala maraknya pandemi dan juga penyakit baru yang muncul yakni hepatitis dan juga dalam  menjalankan salah satu misi dari kampus yakni Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Di sisi lain, tentunya juga untuk dapat merasakan secara langsung terlibat ke dalam kegiatan atau lingkungan masyarakat baru sehingga dapat membantu masyarakat dan memfasilitasi masyarakat. Adapun tema kegiatan yang kita lakukan selama program Pengabdian Masyarakat (Abdimas) adalah “Edukasi dan Implementasi Menjaga Kesehatan dan Hidup Sehat di Masyarakat” yang dimana melalui tema ini kami memberikan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan dan bagaimana cara kita menjaga hidup yang sehat yang dikaitkan dengan menjaga kebersihan. Tentunya dalam hal ini, mahasiswa/mahasiswi dilibatkan sebagai problem solver, motivator, fasilitator, dan mengedukasi masyarakat sekitar dengan membahas bagaimana kita mengimplementasikan hidup sehat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the political communication style used by Anis Baswedan in political audiences and in political leadership or in gaining momentum for leadership and authority to manage the government. And the object of this research is a study of the political communication style used by Anis Baswedan as a political leader, candidate and government in an effort to influence public opinion, as well as win elections, or achieve their political goals. Political communication style is related to how a leader projects himself as a figure who has credibility, integrity and strong leadership in the eyes of the public. In this research, a concept is projected that is used to explain the political communication style of non-party actors in the case study of Anis Baswedan's leadership. There are various theories that try to explain various aspects of political communication styles. The method in this research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation as well as other literature reviews. The data is obtained and analyzed carefully. The results of this research are the figure of political actor Anis Baswedan in carrying out his political communication style as well as possible and ideally as a public figure in order to gain sympathy from the public or society in every stakeholder.

Abstract

Currently, the number of Indonesian students who receive scholarships to continue their studies in Europe is increasing day by day. They managed to get scholarships not only from the Indonesian government but also from the governments of European countries that are members of the European Union. One of the scholarship programs that are in great demand by Indonesian students is the Erasmus Mundus Program with its uniqueness, namely that each student must attend education in 3 countries in Europe. This study aims to answer questions about why culture shock is experienced by Indonesian students who are recipients of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship and how Indonesian students who receive the Erasmus Mundus scholarship overcome culture shock in order to be able to adapt to a new environment. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and in a fluid atmosphere. In this study, as many as 5 Indonesian students received the European Union Erasmus Mundus scholarship to take a Postgraduate program in Europe. The results of this study prove that adaptation can be done through 5 factors, namely personal communication, host social communication, ethnic social communication, environment, and predisposition.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine Anies Baswedan's political communication style on Instagram. The research methodology utilized in this study is qualitative research, specifically a case study. The use of a case study is justified as it allows the researcher to gain an in-depth understanding of the context, processes, and complexities of the phenomenon under investigation. The research findings elucidate that Anies Baswedan, a prominent political figure in Indonesia, utilizes Instagram as a primary tool for communicating with his constituents. The analysis of Anies Baswedan's Instagram content, the use of hashtags and visual style, and the impact of his communication on voters and Indonesian politics are relevant and significant topics.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using digital learning platforms as communication media in Islamic education with a focus on Generation Z teachers at PB. Soedirman Islamic High School, Jakarta. This generation is known as digital natives who are highly adaptive to information technology. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, involving interviews, participatory observation, and surveys. The results show that Generation Z teachers at PB. Soedirman Islamic High School, Jakarta feel comfortable and helped by the use of digital learning platforms for communication and learning. These platforms enable faster and more efficient communication. However, some challenges were also found, such as limitations in conveying messages clearly and the risk of information overload. Factors affecting the effectiveness of communication through digital platforms were identified, including Teachers' technological competence, platform design, organizational culture, and adequate training and support. This research is consistent with technology acceptance theory which states that perceived ease of use and usefulness have a significant effect on technology acceptance. The results of this study provide practical implications to optimize the use of digital learning platforms through continuous training, intuitive platform design, and digital culture support in the organization. Thus, digital platforms can improve the performance and job satisfaction of Generation Z teachers.

Abstract

In accordance with technological advances, teaching materials can be in the form of non-printed. That is, the potential of technology can be a powerful tool to transform learning. This information delivery tool is called learning media. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how much influence comic learning media has on motivation and learning achievement. This research method uses survey research methods. The results of the study are intended to provide an overview of the distribution/distribution of the data. Students' learning motivation data was obtained based on the results of a questionnaire/questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 40 items. To determine the validity of the study, the r table value was tested with the provisions df = (N-2) = 119 – 2 = 117 with a significance level of 0.1801. The results of the analysis showed 34 valid statement items and 6 invalid items. The results of the reliability test using the Croanbach alpha method were measured from SPSS 25.0, so the results of the study had a strong relationship with a value of 0.717. Linear regression analysis was used to test the effect of the independent variable and the dependent variable. If the value in the column sig = 0.00 is smaller than 0.05, it means that the variable X has an effect on the variable Y. If the value of t count Y1 = 3.962 > 1.980, it means that the significance of the motivational variable on the variable of which the motivation variable has a significant effect on motivation. While the regression coefficient value of achievement variable Y2 is t count of 5.758 with t table of 1.980, the significance of achievement variable means that achievement variable has an effect. It is known that the sign value is 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated f value is 37.094 > 3.07, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that the X1 variable on Y1 and Y2 can be influenced. The value of R Square is 0.390 or 39.0% which indicates that there is a simultaneous influence between the variables X1 on Y1 and Y2 of 39.0%. The results of the study can be concluded that most of the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Ibnu Chaldun University have high motivation and achievement with a dominant validity value with a significance of 0.1801 and a correlation coefficient value of a strong level of interpretation. Abstrak Sesuai dengan kemajuan teknologi bahan ajar dapat berupa non cetak. artinya potensi teknologi dapat menjadi alat yang ampuh untuk menstraformasikan pembelajaran. Alat penyampaian informasi inilah yang disebut dengan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran komik terhadap motivasi dan prestasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei. Dalam hasil penelitian dimaksudkan untuk memberikan gambaran umum mengenai penyebaran/distribusi data. Data dari motivasi mahasiswa diperoleh berdasarkan hasil angket/kuesioner. Angket terdiri dari 40 butir. Untuk menentukan uji penelitian validitas besarnya nilai r tabel dengan ketentuan df= (N-2) = 119 – 2 = 117 dengan tingkat signifikansinya 0,1801. Hasil analisis menunjukan 34 item pernyataan valid dan 6 item tidak valid. Hasil uji reliabilitas dengan metode alpha croanbach diukur dari SPSS 25.0 maka dari itu hasil penelitian memiliki hubungan kuat dengan nilai 0,717. Analisis regresi linear digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Jika nilai pada kolom sig =0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05 artinya variabel X berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Jika nilai t hitung Y1= 3,962 > 1,980, siginifikasi variabel motivasi terhadap variabel artinya variabel motivasi berpengaruh siginifikan terhadap motivasi. Sedangkan nilai koefisien regrasi variabel prestasi Y2 adalah t hitung sebesar 5,758 dengan t tabel 1,980, siginifikasi variabel prestasi yang artinya variabel prestasi berpengaruh. Diketahui nilai sign 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai f hitung 37,094 > 3,07, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima berarti dapat pengaruh antara variabel X1 terhadap Y1 dan Y2. Nilai R Square 0,390 atau 39,0% yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang simultan antara variabel X1 terhadap Y1 dan Y2 sebesar 39,0% . Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Ibnu Chaldun memiliki motivasi dan prestasi yang tinggi dengan nilai validitas yang dominan dengan signifikansinya 0,1801 dan memiliki nilai interprestasi koefisien korelasi tingkat yang kuat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of crisis communication in private schools impacted by Government Employees with Contract Agreements or PPPK. This type of research is quantitative content analysis. Quantitative content analysis is a research method that focuses on research with keywords in news texts or reading texts which are the main focus of research. The data source for this research is primary data by taking news samples from 3 different online media, however, they are similar to each other both in terms of the title and the content of the news. The results of this study show that 1) the percentage of implementing crisis communication in the first news reaches 75% with three of the four questions. 2) the percentage of implementing crisis communication in the second story reaches 50% with two of the four questions. 3) the percentage of implementing crisis communication in the third news reaches 50% with two of the four questions.

Abstract

Dalam ranah media sosial, strategi komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting bagi para content creator untuk berhasil menghubungkan diri dengan audiens mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh konten kreator Rachel Putri Aurelya Siloam melalui akun Instagram @rachelsiloam dalam menyebarkan karya digitalnya, terutama terkait dengan isu-isu parenting anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi wawancara langsung dengan Rachel dan audiensnya, observasi lapangan, serta analisis konten digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rachel Putri Aurelya Siloam berhasil mengimplementasikan karya digitalnya dengan baik melalui akun @rachelsiloam, yakni program "Observasi" yang memberikan dampak positif terutama bagi orang tua dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Rachel memilih topik-topik yang relevan dengan audiensnya dan memanfaatkan fitur Live Instagram untuk berinteraksi dengan mereka. Rachel juga berhasil menggunakan strategi komunikasi yang tepat dengan cara mengenal khayalak/audiensnya, menyusun pesan yang relevan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan audiens, serta menggunakan metode komunikasi yang efektif melalui fitur Live Instagram. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menginspirasi dan memotivasi banyak orang dalam keterkaitan dengan isu difabilitas. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa konten kreator difabel dapat menggunakan platform media sosial untuk menyebarkan informasi, memberikan dukungan, dan membangun kesadaran tentang isu-isu tertentu seperti difabilitas dan inklusivitas.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the other side of communication media used in a political context, especially in the aspect of digital technology media. Specifically, this research examines the function of dangdut music and digital technology media as communication tools in political spaces that are common in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method, with the type of research being a case study. Based on research conducted, it is known that the use of dangdut music in political communication has had a positive impact on party electability. Dangdut music with its broad appeal, its ability to build emotional bonds, and its potential to create a positive and viral atmosphere on various digital platforms in political campaigns has helped political parties or candidates to win the hearts of voters. However, the use of dangdut music is only one element of an effective political communication strategy. A strong political message, convincing leadership, and a well-organized campaign plan are also important factors in achieving high electability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out how the efforts to use social media as one of the strategies and means of promoting music schools were carried out by Dotodo Music Edutainment. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study type. The choice of this type of case study is because the researcher will understand in depth the context, process, and complexity of the phenomenon being studied. The location of this research is at the Dotodo Music Edutainment music school, which is in the city of Bandung. In the process of collecting data, researchers used interview and observation techniques. Interviews were conducted with the two founders, who are also the owners and teaching staff at the music school. The results of the research conducted show that Dotodo Music Edutainment utilizes several types of social media such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to reach a wider audience and school promotions. By presenting interesting and relevant content, and involving students in the marketing process, Dotodo Music Edutainment builds a strong brand image and raises public awareness about a quality music school. Dotodo Music Edutainment also uses other supporting strategies such as distributing brochures. This gives the impression of a strong traditional approach and is basically still effective.
